"Powerful AI Visibility Platform with Outstanding Support"
5/5
What do you like best about Profound?

What stands out most about Profound is how intuitive and polished the platform feels, even while handling extremely complex AI search and GEO data. The UI is clean and easy to navigate, and it makes it straightforward to pull meaningful insights on brand visibility, prompt performance, and AI-generated search results without requiring a heavy onboarding process.

I also appreciate how quickly the team ships updates and adapts to changes in the AI landscape. New models and search behaviors emerge constantly, and Profound consistently stays ahead with new capabilities and improvements. In our evaluation, its monitoring accuracy was stronger than other tools we looked at, especially for understanding how brands appear across different AI engines and for tracking crawler activity.

Another major advantage is the support team. They’re highly responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely strategic in how they work with clients. Instead of simply answering questions, they actively help identify opportunities to improve workflows, reporting, and overall GEO strategy. Onboarding was smooth, and integrating the platform into our existing processes was straightforward.

Profound has become an important part of how we monitor and understand our visibility in the evolving zero-click and AI search ecosystem. It delivers actionable insights that are difficult to find elsewhere, and it continues to improve at a very fast pace. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Profound?

There are still a few advanced reporting and visualization features I’d like to see expanded over time, especially to better support broader, non-brand monitoring use cases. That said, the team is clearly iterating quickly, and it’s encouraging to see many improvements already being rolled out on a regular basis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless GEO Tracking and Competitive Visibility with Profound"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Profound?

Profound helps my team efficiently track GEO metrics for our brand, saving hours of manual work monitoring rankings across ChatGPT, AI Overviews, and other answer engines. It also gives us clear visibility into competitor performance, helping us maintain a strong presence and consistently rank highly in AI-driven search results. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Profound?

I wouldn’t say there’s anything I specifically dislike about Profound. They were quick to innovate as one of the first platforms focused on GEO and AI search visibility, which gave brands valuable early insight into their performance across emerging answer engines. As the space has evolved and more competitors have entered the market, there’s an opportunity for Profound to continue expanding its feature set to stay at the forefront of innovation. "Powerful visibility insights. More directly actionable suggestions would be great!"
5/5
What do you like best about Profound?

I use Profound the most for prompt-level visibility, helping me understand how my product's visibility compares against competitors. I like how easy and simple the navigation is, as well as the ability to deep-dive into product related broader themes, finding prompts that are either improving or reducing their visibility on LLMs, which is highly useful. The ease of going deeper into the data is what made me incline towards profound when I was shopping for an AEO tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Profound?

It's a premium tool so the pricing is of course on the steeper side. But one area I think needs improvement is the immediate action items. What I today see is a bit limited and so I have to spend time understanding the data - which is good, but then creating action items from that data is time-taking. So if Profound starts giving me ample action items to work on, I could directly assign it to my team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Profound Makes AIO/LLM Copywriting Easy with Clear Data and Time-Saving Content Tools"
4/5
What do you like best about Profound?

I've really enjoyed utilizing Profound in my copywriting role and with my entire content team. One of our major goals for the year was learning how to approach copywriting in the new AIO/LLM space, and Profound has helped us navigate that. One of my favorite things is how easy the data is to read and what you're able to track. We can easily see our visibility rating and how that compares to other competitors. We can also see sentiment rankings which is super interesting and has allowed us to fine tune strategy for platforms like Reddit. The other major benefit our team has seen is with the "content" features which allow us to create new content (briefs and all), or optimize existing content. These both save us a ton of time. There's also a cool tool allowing us to track URLS after we implement or optimize which is great for looking at growth with specific pieces of content.

One feature that Profound has introduced that I really appreciate is the "Ask" feature, which is a chat interface that allows you to talk back and forth with a bot (like LLM style) but the difference in this case is that it can run data reports and other things for you. It's been nice to use instead of digging around through the data manually - for example, you can ask it to run a visibility report for specific prompts, etc.

Our rep is so helpful and available by email or our biweekly meeting to answer any questions we have. He really takes the time to respond! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Profound?

I think there is a bit of a learning curve with how to input certain info that you want if you're using a prompt tool or generating content, but that's to be expected with any tool like this I think. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Smooth Onboarding, Powerful Analytics, and Seamless Integrations"
5/5
What do you like best about Profound?

What first caught my attention was the onboarding experience—it is incredibly smooth and well-designed, making it easy to get started right away.

As a strategist, the "prompt volumes" feature has been a game-changer for me. It allows me to clearly understand how my semantic authority is performing in terms of user prompts. Additionally, the "agent analytics" section provides deep insights that are essential for adjusting my SEO strategy to align with how AI agents search and synthesize information. It’s a powerful tool for anyone looking to stay ahead in modern search optimization.

The tool itself is fantastic, but for professionals and companies operating outside the US or Europe, the pricing can feel a bit steep due to currency exchange rates. It’s a significant investment when converted to local currency, though the features and robustness still deliver great value.

The UI/UX is exceptionally friendly and intuitive, which drastically cuts down the learning curve for any team. When it comes to integrations, they are seamless and comprehensive, allowing us to connect our workflows without any performance lags or technical friction. It handles heavy data analytics smoothly, proving its high performance daily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Profound?

While the platform’s features are outstanding, the current pricing structure poses a challenge for international users. Specifically, due to currency exchange rates, the cost can feel quite steep for professionals and companies operating outside the US or Europe.

The impact of this issue is that it limits accessibility for smaller teams or independent strategists in emerging markets who could deeply benefit from the tool's cognitive SEO insights.

As a potential improvement, it would be incredible if Profound considered introducing localized pricing or regional tiers. This would make the platform much more accessible worldwide and help expand its community globally without compromising the product's value Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Helpful platform for understanding and improving our AI search visibility"
5/5
What do you like best about Profound?

What I like best about Profound is how easy it makes it to understand where we rank in AI search, where competitors are gaining visibility, and what we can do to optimise our presence. The platform is intuitive and makes trends easy to interpret, which helps turn AI visibility data into practical actions. I also really value how responsive the team is. They listen to feedback, iterate quickly, and are open to developing new features that support what teams actually need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Profound?

There isn’t anything I strongly dislike. The main thing would be making it easier to pull insights into a format that can be shared internally, especially with stakeholders who are less close to AI search day to day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Enterprise-Grade AI Search Visibility and Competitive Insights"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Profound?

As a product marketer, one of the biggest challenges with the shift to AI search has been understanding how our brand actually shows up across platforms like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews. Profound gave us visibility we simply weren’t getting from traditional SEO tools.

What I’ve found most valuable is the combination of competitive insights and actionable reporting. It’s helped us understand which prompts matter, how competitors are being surfaced, and how our messaging is interpreted in AI-generated responses. We’ve used those insights to inform positioning, content strategy, and executive reporting around AI visibility.

The platform feels purpose-built for enterprise marketing teams, especially if AI discovery is becoming strategically important to your business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Profound?

My only feedback is that some recommendations could be a bit more prescriptive for leaner teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Clear, Structured AI Visibility Tracking with Actionable Strategy Support"
5/5
What do you like best about Profound?

I use Profound daily as an in-house SEO, and it gives me a clear view of how our brand shows up across AI platforms. The biggest value is being able to understand AI visibility in a structured way, rather than relying on guesswork. I can track progress over time, compare our coverage against competitors, and use the data to set content priorities.

The strategy calls with our dedicated AI strategist are another strong part of the experience. They help translate what we’re seeing in the data into practical actions we can apply to our ongoing SEO work. Overall, the platform makes it easier to explain AI performance to internal teams, since the reporting is straightforward and easy to follow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Profound?

There’s a lot of data in the platform, so there’s definitely a learning curve when you first get started, especially with some of the newer AI-focused metrics. A few workflows could be faster and feel more streamlined, and I’d also like more flexibility with exports as well as more options to customize reporting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Powerful Platform for Understanding AI Search Visibility"
5/5
What do you like best about Profound?

What I like best about Profound is how clearly it helps connect AI visibility data to actual optimization decisions. The platform makes it easy to understand not just whether your brand appears in AI-generated answers, but why certain brands and sources are being cited across platforms like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews. I especially like the citation analysis features because it provides actionable insights into retrieval behavior, content gaps, and competitive positioning. The platform also does a great job visualizing trends across visibility, citations, sentiment, and platforms in a way that feels strategic instead of overwhelming. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Profound?

One thing I dislike about Profound is the slight learning curve for new users. The platform surfaces a lot of data and insights across citations, visibility, fan-out, sentiment, and platforms, which can feel a bit overwhelming at first. However, once you understand the framework and workflows, the data becomes much easier to interpret and very actionable. Practice makes it perfect. Get into the platform and start playing around! "Helps us plan and execute our AI visibility strategy"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Profound?

I really like how easy it is to use. Profound has a very intuitive interface with a clean UI overall. There’s a lot of detail in the platform, and you can go really deep if you want to. But it’s not overwhelming to just get a quick high-level gut check of how your visibility is performing and how it’s trending over time. The detailed analytics help us understand where to put our content efforts to boost AI visibility and optimize our presence in AI tools. Tracking which pages are being cited by AI more than others, as well as seeing competitor and third-party pages, helps us a lot with our content creation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Profound?

The one thing that would be the big unlock, which is probably just hard to get from LLMs, is specific prompt volumes. Right now, we basically get a rough estimate of total queries by phrase or prompt cluster, which is helpful directionally, but it would be really helpful to better understand, down basically to the specific word, how many times a particular prompt is being searched in a given week, month, or year.
