ProfitTracker gives project-based companies real-time control of project finances. See forecast profitability, purchasing, invoicing and cash flow of every project while it is still running, catch variances early and protect your margins. The problem Margins can slip away before you notice. When orders, purchasing, hours and accounts live in different places, project finances are hard to keep up to date. Costs and commitments show up late, the same data is entered twice, and variances surface only once there is less room to act. How it works The customer order becomes a sales order with milestones. Purchase orders are sent from the project, goods receipts are recorded when deliveries arrive, and invoices are created from the milestones. Actual, Committed and Planned add up to a forecast result for every project, so you see the variance as soon as it appears, not when the books are closed. Key features • Sales orders with milestones and change orders • Budgets per project and budget line • Purchase orders, goods receipts and partial deliveries • Forecast result per project: Actual + Committed + Planned • Invoicing from milestones • Cash flow per project and across projects • Hours and labour cost on projects • Stock and stock withdrawals on projects • Dashboard with margin per project against target Who it is for Businesses that deliver projects and manage purchasing: technical contractors, engineering firms, make-to-order manufacturers and other project-based companies. Project managers get control of their own projects, and management gets the full picture across the portfolio. Integrations Connects to Tripletex, PowerOffice Go, Fiken, Visma eAccounting, Finago, Xero, QuickBooks Online and Sage Accounting. Data is synchronised between the systems, so nothing is entered twice. Supplier invoices, the general ledger and VAT stay in your accounting software. You don't need to change accounting software to get better project control.
