What do you like best about ProEst?

ProEst is an excellent tool to peform material takeoffs and generate complete estimates for projects. The software syncs with our project management system and is a great asset to our company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ProEst?

Setting up and implementing ProEst does take a substantial amount of time depending on the amount of cost codes and figures that need to be entered. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ProEst?

Ease of use.

Flexibility to edit a lot of stuff.

Huge database and pre-built assemblies

Learning curve is steep and you have to pay a lot for the training

The Tech support is not that good, so if you are stuck at some point, you have to open a ticket with them and wait for their call to assist you

Database setup takes a lot time

The biggest advantage of ProEst is having a reliable cost database. If you already have a reliable database of historical costs, you can input it into the ProEst database. However this is a very time consuming process. Some of the main competitors for Proest Estimating are Quick Estimator and Clear Estimates, these can also be tried out to see what matches your requirements.
