## Productlane Reviews
  ### 1. Great daily driver for modern product teams

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Miika I. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Productlane?**

Great integrations to Slack and Linear.app

User-friendly UI

Keyboard commands mirroring linear.app commands. cmd + K is really handy!

Closing feedback loops. I think Productlane is well designed around giving that personal touch for closing feedback loops

**What do you dislike about Productlane?**

It's important to note that AI feedback tools are on the rise. I believe that scaling companies cannot handle the incoming feedback amounts manually in the future. This means the manual handling tools will be absolete at some point. There is currently limited information about Productlane's AI features, so only time will tell if it can deliver.

**What problems is Productlane solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Single source of truth for customer feedback. When we started using Productlane, it started to eliminate the conversations starting "who was requesting this feature?" or "I feel like it's really asked feature". Having the accurate data of what & which users want (and how many of them want it) are real benefits when using Productlane.

  ### 2. Invaluable tool for customer/user intel, roadmap planning, transparency

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Productlane?**

I have been working in the tech industry for over a decade, and every company I have worked at has had a major problem with collecting and managing feedback from users and customers. Typically, the result was that the feedback ended up mostly being ignored or discarded, since there was no organized, central place to collect and catalog it, and the company ends up just making calls on what to work on based on instinct. This has infuriated me for years. Finally, at Clerk, I think we have managed to solve this problem using Productlane.

It was fast and easy to get started, and we linked it to Linear, where we already track all of our engineering efforts. We instantly had a nice looking public page where our users and customers could start putting in feedback. After posting it on our website and having our devrel and support teams point to it for anyone asking about feedback, within a few weeks we had hundreds of people suggesting ideas, voting on existing ideas, etc. We stood it up with just a few hours of work, and within a couple weeks, productlane was making a substantial impact on how we selected which initatives to work on at the company at the leadership level, and continues to do so to this day.

On top of that, any project we start working on is usually pre-seeded with a bunch of people who are interested in it, who can review RFC drafts and offer feedback, beta test, etc. This workflow has transformed our engineering process to being massively more customer and feedback oriented than it was before, which is really good for the company overall. We can feel much more confident that the things we work on are delivering value, because we literally hear that they are from actual users before we commit resources to them.

As a company, the productlane team has been a pleasure to work with. They are quick and responsive to anything we ask about, and have turned around new features we requested very quickly. Couldn't recommend more highly, overall.

**What do you dislike about Productlane?**

Really, we are very happy with Productlane and no specific problems with it. It's a young product overall, and we look forward to the product growing and maturing naturally over time.

**What problems is Productlane solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Productlane offers a centralized place to collect, organize, and act on product feedback from customers and users.

  ### 3. Solves a Critical Product Team Challenge in an Elegant Way

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zach C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Productlane?**

I love Linear... and ProductLane has extended Linear to include evidence management!

The integration is seamless and I've never had any problems with it. I use ProductLane every day. The tool is simple and I can use it with non-technical stakeholders.

ProductLane is a straightforward app without a lot of cruft or excess features.

I LOVE ProductLane's hotkeys, which match my mental models of Linear well and make my workflow blazing fast.

Support has also been very good and responsive.

**What do you dislike about Productlane?**

Free tier doesn't include Google Auth integration on portal page but "lowest tier price" is quite high if you're on a smaller product team (as I am)

**What problems is Productlane solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Evidence Management for the product team I lead at a software startup

  ### 4. The best possible tool to align your customer feedback with your product roadmap

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Oliver B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Productlane?**

That it is very intuitive to use and that it integrates well with our remaining tech stack. The fact that it is build on Linear makes to a no-brainer for aligning customer feedback with our product roadmap.

**What do you dislike about Productlane?**

A few navigation elements could be improved, but I am required to fill this box. Honestly, Productlane is awesome. 10/10.

**What problems is Productlane solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were lacking a way of documenting our product feedback in an effective way. When we requested new features to our engineering team, they would always ask for research/proof/documentation that these features had been requested, and we were very aware of recency-bias, whic we were trying to avoid.

With Productlane all our meetings are recorded automatically. We track and link notes to relevant product features in Linear, which makes it 1000000x easier to compile user feedback when we want to prioritize new features and understand how we should develop new featues.

  ### 5. A Fantastic Tool for Easily Managing Customer Feedback

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chantal K. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2024

**What do you like best about Productlane?**

Productlane is a fantastic tool for managing customer feedback with a seamless connection to Linear. It offers a public roadmap feature that you can share with your customers. This allows them to vote on and contribute to your company's future direction. Also, the team behind Productlane is continuously adding new features to enhance its functionality.

**What do you dislike about Productlane?**

The navigation and search bar could be improved to make it easier to navigate within Productlane. However, in general, Productlane is quite nice to use and they are actively working on customer feedback.

**What problems is Productlane solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To easily manage customers feedback

  ### 6. Best feedback tool for Linear users

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brandon B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Productlane?**

We use Productlane to share plans with and get feedback from users. It's a great way to store user feedback and the tight integration with Linear works great and makes our lives easier by reducing duplication.

**What do you dislike about Productlane?**

Have hit some snags along the way but the team fixed them quickly

**What problems is Productlane solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Track user feedback + public roadmap for users to vote on + public changelog
