It analyses shipment history, current pricing context, lane performance, carrier strength, carrier diversity, supplier concentration, margin risk, and network fit across road, air, and ocean freight. By comparing historic performance with current commercial context, Comparator helps identify pricing opportunities, carrier gaps, margin exposure, procurement improvement areas, and freight that may need deeper review before a future RFP, tender, or rate response. Prodensus is designed to enhance, not replace, experienced pricing and procurement teams. The platform supports human-in-the-loop decision-making, recognising that final pricing, buy, bid, and commercial decisions depend on each customer’s own industry knowledge, customer relationships, operating model, and market experience. Prodensus reduces repetitive and redundant workstreams so pricing, procurement, sales, carrier, and operations teams can spend less time cleaning files, reconciling data, and searching through historic shipment records, and more time applying expertise to higher-value commercial decisions. The platform is built to work with freight data from spreadsheets, TMS exports, APIs, and connected business systems. Spreadsheet imports remain supported, but Prodensus is designed to increasingly lean on TMS integrations, API connections, and structured data flows to enable faster, more accurate, and more repeatable historical shipment discovery, analysis, and pricing context. This allows customers to move beyond static spreadsheet reviews toward a more connected and scalable freight pricing operating model. While Prodensus includes AI-assisted and agentic AI elements, it is not positioned as a wholly AI-powered replacement for freight expertise. Its value comes from combining structured freight data, codified industry knowledge, domain-specific logistics logic, workflow automation, connected system data, and experienced human review. AI is used carefully to speed up routine workstreams and surface analysis faster, while the customer remains in control of final decisions.
