"Proctorio for Academic Integrity"

What do you like best about Proctorio?

Proctorio offers an easy solution to remote exam proctoring and is easily scalable (can be used for 100+ students at the same time). It is straightforward to set up as it only requires students to install a Chrome extension (no downloads necessary) and offers various settings to choose from to detect cheating. My students have also mentioned that their customer service is also very helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Proctorio?

It isn't easy to monitor if students are accessing materials that are not permitted during the exam, for instance, using a second mobile device. Some students have also complained about privacy concerns regarding continuous monitoring and video recording of their exam sessions although that is required in order to detect (and hopefully) prevent cheating. Once in a while there are some difficulties encountered with pre-checks such as checking a driver's license for name verification. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Worst and Most Intimidating Examination Software"

What do you like best about Proctorio?

I guess one might appreciate the room scanning idea for its potential but it is the most frustrating, lowly constructed, undependable measurement Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Proctorio?

Invasive, Screen freezing, The help button is not very functional; It does not give the realistic sense of presence yet intimidates the member that is undertaking an exam Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Proctorio?

The security level looks high. The students are fearful of it so they do not cheat. It also requires students to have microphones and webcams from the get-go, so it's a sense of normalcy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Proctorio?

There are too many things that can either trip it and cause anxiety for the students or it can miss many things as well. This looks good, but not functional at home in the real world. A cat jumping on a user's desk will flag the exam. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Proctorio?

I thought it has good customer service. But no.. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Proctorio?

1. Not user friendly

2. Bad customer service, (Can't even call), they don't understand you.

3. Confusing instruction.

4. It takes forever to open it. After opening it takes to the same page again and again.
