What do you like best about ProcessMaker?

User experience, how processmaker works, compared to other tools (you need to dedicate more than a month to understand it) it easy to develop a workflow . Also, the support given by ProcessMaker Support Team is good, they have helped me to solve issues, some others not, but they do the best to solve the problems. What do you dislike about ProcessMaker?

Some versions are released with important bugs, that in a big company affect their productivity. The performance of the tool in some versions can be improved although having mounted Processmaker in a good infrastructure.. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ProcessMaker?

I appreciate the platform's flexibility for implementing custom workflows and how easy it is to make adjustments when business rules change, as well as the API integration capabilities. Complex workflows with many actors involved can be created in a fraction of the time it would take using a traditional development approach. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ProcessMaker?

Depending on how a given process is implemented in the platform, users can get somewhat confused about what is the exact status of a workflow instance. For example, if a process contains child processes and the workflow is currently at a particular task belonging to the child process, this information is not readily visible from the perspective of the parent process - users need to drill-down into the child process to figure out what is the current task. Recommendations to others considering ProcessMaker:

We are confident that we have chosen a strong foundation to implement our BPM/Low Code strategy. As I mentioned before in this review, care must be taken as to how processes are modeled, and some level of user education might be required in order for users to understand how the platform is structured. But these issues can be considered minor quibbles when we compare them to the huge benefits we get in speeding up the delivery of useful and relevant business solutions. What problems is ProcessMaker solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have strategic business operations that were being handled in a completely manual approach and which were dependent on a lot of e-mail exchanges and attached spreadsheets. Business managers had a hard time getting a sense of where a specific operation was and the process as a whole was very error-prone. We had many occasions where rework was needed due to mistakes or miscommunication between actors. Now the process is much more consistent, users feel more confident as they realize the platform is handling the workflow for them and the information is being manipulated in an organized fashion. What do you like best about ProcessMaker?

You can use ProcessMaker to automate and simplify rigorous processes that are carried in your company. The system allows you to drag and drop without much hassle. It doesnt require much programming. They even went a step further with processmaker version 4. The performance issues we normally have in previous versions are no more Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ProcessMaker?

It doesn't allow programmers to write their codes in other programming languages as the system is written on gulliver. This has been updated in processmaker 4.0. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ProcessMaker?

ProcessMaker is a user-friendly platform for developing web forms since it makes use of a drag-and-drop feature. It is low-code, therefore, does not require that much of programming skills in implementing simple workflow automation projects. What I like about ProcessMaker4 is that I am able to create something that's going to take me at least a few hours when manually coded. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ProcessMaker?

The only downside about ProcessMaker 4 is that there are times where it can't display data even though when it is provided and that dropdowns can't be dynamic but it seems like the ProcessMaker team is already working on it. I just wish that the properties panel can be resized because as a developer, it sometimes get infuriating when the whole text in the configuration box doesn't show just because the panel isn't adjustable. Recommendations to others considering ProcessMaker:

I would like for organizations first to consult with the ProcessMaker team regarding the feasibility of the projects they wish to do on the platform as I believe that the drag-and-drop is not yet mature and still lacks a few functionalities. Although, they can still make use of the Advanced feature where they do manual coding instead of the drag-and-drop. It's just that once you code manually, you can't simply switch to drag-and-drop on a click of a button. Instead, you're going to have to do it all over again depending on how you want to implement your project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ProcessMaker solving and how is that benefiting you?

My organization is currently using ProcessMaker in reducing paper trail as we are now transitioning into a digital era. Aside from that, these automation projects reduces the confusion between requesters on who they're going to submit it to for approval when done manually with the use of pen and paper.
