  ### 1. Experience Processmaker

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2019

**What do you like best about ProcessMaker?**

The interface is subtle and very practical, easy to understand. I like its great ease for creating the layout of the process. The ease of creating the screens and how practical it is to be able to insert validations in JS for the screens. In the JS part, I love that different libraries can be used and it's great that JQuery is already integrated.

**What do you dislike about ProcessMaker?**

The part I don't like much is in the creation of the output documents because for me, when we place the HTML structure and want to reopen it, the code shifts and it's not very understandable.

**Recommendations to others considering ProcessMaker:**

Version 3 is highly recommended, it is easy to use and even to program, it is the best option to implement and automate your processes.

Case tracking interface is not very intuitive.

Use documentation for integration options. Also sometimes, we use opensource version to understand how some parts are working.

**What do you dislike about ProcessMaker?**

Process Maker has opensource version as well. Maybe it might be easier to setup open source version first in your organization then move to Enterprise version.

**What do you like best about ProcessMaker?**

PM is the best project management tool. The most beneficial feature of this program is that it is a very good tool for us, as it helps us to configure the most valuable reports on daily processes. ProcessMaker is a fantastic tool on the market because it has some outstanding features and is really useful to us. All of its solutions are easy and they are tailored for small businesses. You can use that free of charge. Tracking phone calls and sending out product alerts is simple. The unique aspect of the survey method is useful as it only collects input from consumers on the goods and services it has affected.

**What do you dislike about ProcessMaker?**

There are certain mistakes that seem to be lacking in reliability, or that are difficult to correct. Using this method does not seem to address any of those problems.

**Recommendations to others considering ProcessMaker:**

ProcessMaker is a prime method for automating and streamlining processes. Many gratitude to each of the teams, from the sales department who will help you understand the product's value to the skilled support team who will help you bring the plan into practice.

**What problems is ProcessMaker solving and how is that benefiting you?**

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Forrest C. | Lead Corporate Recruiter, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 26, 2020

**What do you like best about ProcessMaker?**

The best thing about this software is that we can add multiple applications them in columns and even make our task public so that it is visible to everyone. Also we can easily create lists, define different workspaces and share dashboards for better task management. We can also move the task to other applications and download it in the form of a file. It has also been excellent to be able to access our reports in real time because this Platform provides a multi-window system. It integrates very comfortably with other applications. This platform also allows me to optimize my things to allow for more space.

**What do you dislike about ProcessMaker?**

The slowness to handle access permissions and that it has very limitations to handle spreadsheets. We also do not like it to be complicated to share information because ProcessMaker does not have a chat platform with which it is easier to communicate. It has no CRM integration because its outlook-like interface is quite a bit confusing.

**What problems is ProcessMaker solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ProcessMaker is a great product because it has been helping us a lot in the company to maintain a workflow for our projects and scheduled tasks. We have almost attained the perfection in automating the process at our place and have multi-fold productivity enhancement in our organization.

There is no need for separate programming tools to build the workflow. Integrating workflow layout and user interface types enables the development of workflows rapidly and fairly easily even by non-developers. API and database links ensure that all computer systems are implemented effectively. It is easy to incorporate additional user functions / functions because they are compliant with the plug-in architecture.

**What do you dislike about ProcessMaker?**

In user settings, there should be more features, and more user access. Such permissions vary from limiting certain users 'access to not limiting others' access. A trial version of this feature is not available.

**Recommendations to others considering ProcessMaker:**

Scan and research the literature, and you can do it like whenever.   There is also a lot of details so you'll get the right product once you have it.

**What problems is ProcessMaker solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I make buying decisions and share responsibility for handling applications in the entire process. At every move, the user is transferred to the tablet.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Julie L. | Marketing Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

This software program, which helps us enhance our management processes, gives us an exceptional chance to fix our workflows in the very first place as well as to effectively improve the tasks of ours and business tasks through supervision.

**What do you dislike about ProcessMaker?**

I've lost money with this particular program. Company responsible for applying the processors can't do that and a lot of the processing has to be carried out in an Excel spreadsheet.

**Recommendations to others considering ProcessMaker:**

I have noticed individuals use it lots of times. In case you do not understand how to use it, you cannot evaluate it.

**What problems is ProcessMaker solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Generally, there's an inner process management system which is quite good. It's really inexpensive. Our clients use ProcessMaker to produce product concerns, quality reports, incident reports and other things.

  ### 12. It has been enriching experience

**Reviewed by:** Ezra Andre v. | Divisional Internal Auditor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

The shift in resources, the value and order it creates for the organization. ProcessMaker is a business process (BPM) or workflow software framework open source, economical and quick to use. In order to achieve a better address as an organization, it establishes an excellent order in themes of requests. I also like the flow chart that has to move before the other person while carrying out a task in bosses and role.

**What do you dislike about ProcessMaker?**

Response time only, but the organization is more interested. What I don't like with the tool is some software developers need to build when a new text box is introduced. While dealing with artificial intelligence, I do not really like the process of creating a website for the theme of text boxes.

**Recommendations to others considering ProcessMaker:**

If you would suggest the procedure, it is a great command to know the approval criteria, programs, requests and results diagrams

**What problems is ProcessMaker solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When I create events, queries, access or projects through ProcessMaker that follow a flux that lets me make an order for things. I have solved several problems involving programs, repairs and tickets. That comes to me after receiving a variety of approvals to check that it's all right. Our business is relatively small and very tech oriented, to the point that there are only a few collaborators assigned for administrative task, so many forms are/where still done on paper and you wouldn’t have any visibility on how your request were advancing. **What do you like best about ProcessMaker?**

ProcessMaker, as its use suggests, is for digital approval workflows; it also facilitates our development by being super fast and agile, saving development time and providing traceability in the execution of process cases.

**What do you dislike about ProcessMaker?**

I don't see it generating Excel from a query through a trigger and that it is created and sent as an attachment; this is one of the things that would help us a lot to send automatic Excel reports to a specific recipient.

The search for documents is too slow through the user interface. Also, the reports through the interface I see are visible to all users even when they are not given viewing permission, etc.

**Recommendations to others considering ProcessMaker:**

ProcessMaker, as its use suggests, is for digital approval workflows; it also facilitates its development, being super fast and agile, saving development time and obtaining traceability in the execution of process cases.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** December 19, 2019

**What do you like best about ProcessMaker?**

It is a tool that helps us optimize processes that were previously in physical manuals or PDF files, making our daily work easier.

  ### 22. Refine monitoring tool very powerful service.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dominick O. | Senior Engineer, Mechanical Design, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2019

**What do you like best about ProcessMaker?**

Instinctive interface which doesn't just look wonderful, but is easy to use is the very best part in using a processmaker. There is also plenty of excellent online documentation that helps when you have problems. The support group is excellent and not only does it respond quickly when a problem is registered, but it speaks until the issue has been resolved.

**What do you dislike about ProcessMaker?**

In the process designer, system analysis is very difficult. While the visual feature of dynaforms is used to test javaScript, it is not an easy way to analyze them or to begin a debug php. The only way to test them is to actually start the process and see whether the activator works, which takes time. Error messages leave much to be desired because there is no valuable comment "whoops, like something that failed."

**Recommendations to others considering ProcessMaker:**

The company uses process makers to remove company administrator processes documentation and to speed up the flow of an individual to an add-on process, making it easy for clients to operate the program. Moreover, we try to make sure that best methods are applied in the whole business, and it allows us to monitor instances easily from start to finish and to see that users have done what is really easy.

**What problems is ProcessMaker solving and how is that benefiting you?**

While starting procedures is extremely easy, certain coding skills are needed. Luckily, processors provide a wide variety of fantastic materials and inspect so long as you can support structure efficient procedures

  ### 23. Successful solution for business process management.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Josseline A. | User, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2019

**What do you like best about ProcessMaker?**

It has a friendly interface and a quick and fast system can be introduced by my development team because I have powerful programming tools. To my end users, it is very easy to use.

**What do you dislike about ProcessMaker?**

Often I avoid recording or creating documents while I work in ProcessMaker. Yet I guess it might be a problem with the network.

**Recommendations to others considering ProcessMaker:**

If you have a lot of business processes you can use PM, because it is very effective to simplify it, and you can see that the organization is evolving greatly. You need some experience to design workflows; it's important to train the developer / architect of your team even if you have consultants to execute them.

**What problems is ProcessMaker solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The softwares of ProcessMaker work well in our organization as they help us with specific processes like the purchase process, their streamlined usage helps everyone who asks for anything through the ProcessMaker program in their department. It does not work properly often, because the application from the ProcessMaker Program is too sluggish to process, I think it may be a network.

  ### 24. Extraordinary Process Software (BMP)

It is a software that helps us optimize the management processes of our company, makes it possible to have immediate solutions to our workflow, provides us with extraordinary features that ensure our projects and business processes are executed smoothly through monitoring.

**What do you dislike about ProcessMaker?**

It is a very powerful software, the only thing is that sometimes it tends to be a bit slow when I try to design workflows. I don't know if it's because it might be a bit heavy or robust, or if the Internet connection has to do with the delay, but otherwise, it is excellent.

**Recommendations to others considering ProcessMaker:**

Control workflows and manage all your company's processes efficiently

**What problems is ProcessMaker solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With ProcessMaker, all our manuals went from being on paper to digital and at the same time automated, so that our processes in the industry are faster, especially when a new employee has to familiarize themselves with the industrial plants and process equipment. It has been great for us. Additionally, with it, I can create forms; it is very good and extensive, easy to use for both beginners and advanced users. Our IT department is really delighted with ProcessMaker since all departments carry out their management processes satisfactorily, from inventory requests, purchasing, and stock depletion. It provides us with excellent management processes.

I like the ease with which they explained the points of the tool step by step as to be able to perform most of the functions that the tool provides me, it is really very useful to take the course since it is clear and do not say the excellent teacher and teacher excellent person

**What do you dislike about ProcessMaker?**

I did not like that the hard course lasted 5 days since, although it is very good, due to the extension of the tool, it should take a little longer to explain everything that can be created with it, I would choose a minimum of 2 weeks would be the ideal time since in the future they will implement more things and the course that is provided will be even scarcer

**Recommendations to others considering ProcessMaker:**

more flexibility with the design since in many occasions it is not so easy to be able to implement the dynaform design since they are very very standardized and not very graceful

**What problems is ProcessMaker solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm giving a project which helped me to optimize it and create a more user friendly process, I also see that there is little maturation of the tool since it contains some errors and I see the design somewhat obsolete but it is also very beneficial for the issue of time since it saves you a lot of work

**What do you like best about ProcessMaker?**

This software automates complex workfowsAlso an intuitive, drag-and-drop interface makes it easy for business analysts to model approval-based workflows.

**What do you dislike about ProcessMaker?**

Process Maker becomes slower when many people are working on the same process

**Recommendations to others considering ProcessMaker:**

Is it possible to remove the limit of max 2 mb for pictures and attachments in the dynaforms?
I feel this should be made possibe if is not yet possible.
is it possible process the pictures taken with some OCR software in order to get data directly from the pictures?
If not yet then i will recommend you guys to please work on it as soon as possible.
Where will the documents / pictures attached to a dynaform be saved? Take note of this as well

**What problems is ProcessMaker solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The complex workflows and as a business analysts its a drag and drop hence my work is easy as i am able to model approval-based workflows

  ### 27. A good tool for workflow management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jessica F. | Servicio de atención al cliente, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2019

**What do you like best about ProcessMaker?**

ProcessMaker is a very powerful workflow management tool. Easy to create even complex sequences very quickly. One of the best things is the possibility to start with the open-source version of the tool before purchasing a commercial license.

**What do you dislike about ProcessMaker?**

I think there is a weak point in the reporting presentation, I would like to be able to obtain sufficient reports on the processes.

**What problems is ProcessMaker solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before finding ProcessMaker, our daily operational processes, such as expense claims, application abandonment, and staff reviews, were carried out almost manually with MS Excel as the only tool. After the company acquired this software, we found a tool that facilitates many processes for us. Additionally, it is fully open source, with sufficient instruction and self-guided support. It is also powerful, flexible, and easy to use and learn to manage, which is very important.

  ### 28. A great tool for creating optimizations and implementations.

**What do you like best about ProcessMaker?**

What appeals most to users about using this great tool is the ease with which it allows them to use its features. It has features that help users have more visibility into every step of the system and make every job more efficient and more productive on the job.

**What do you dislike about ProcessMaker?**

Custom settings need to have more features for users to have more permissions to use. These permissions may range from restricted access for some users to unrestricted access for others. Programs in the trial version do not have this feature.

**Recommendations to others considering ProcessMaker:**

Any recommendation will be commensurate with the needs the business has and the complex difficulty of the processes that are treated as objectives. The organization of the work required for program use requires a review of the current process before starting the project.

**What problems is ProcessMaker solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For environments that want more automated functions, with program simplicity and objectivity, and work progress reports. Email message tracking mode, electronic approvals make the whole system work by itself, creating extra time for your users.

  ### 29. A little mora than a year experience with ProcessMaker

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2019

**What do you like best about ProcessMaker?**

What I like best about ProcessMaker is that the interface is really smooth with simple structures, every simple process runs perfectly. The dynaforms are amazing, I like how you can adecuate it with JavaScript and also the actions by emails.

**What do you dislike about ProcessMaker?**

I dislike that with more complex processes its easier that it malfunctions, it's really frustrating that sometimes ProcessMaker gets confused and assignes notificatons as self services tasks and something that should be well programmed from the back is not and when you report it in a ticket, they take forever to solve it because they label that kind of error as a bug. They are also errors with the start event timers, the ones that are monthly specifically and sometimes when there is a new versión, some processes start to fail and not even ProcessMaker detect the root of the problem.

**What problems is ProcessMaker solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a lot of processes, most of them involve more tan three areas. We have processes of Promotions, Communications, Terms & Conditions, Reports to Partners, Contracts, Confidential Information to third parties, etc. What i consider has been the most significant Benefit is the tracking of cases and not using as much paper as we did before workflows.

  ### 30. A great tool for creating optimizations and implementations.

  ### 31. BEST BPMs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2020

**What do you like best about ProcessMaker?**

It is very organized. It has a great user interface, too. Users can do everything without any issue.

**What do you dislike about ProcessMaker?**

Something that I don't like is that PM has so many updates. Another thing that I don't like is that users can be expired so, sometimes we get calls from users saying that they can't log in and we going crazy by asking them to clear their cache and other stuff. And then, it turns out that the problem was that their account has expired.

**Recommendations to others considering ProcessMaker:**

Just make sure to read the documentation. They have a lot of material over there.

**What problems is ProcessMaker solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We converted paper form to electronic. We also converted timesheet to E-timesheet

  ### 32. A simple tool to automate

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 22, 2019

**What do you like best about ProcessMaker?**

I like that it is a fairly robust tool, to develop basic processes, even very complex processes. It also allows integrations with a number of technologies and allows processes that communicate with each other, creating true ecosystems for a company.
In the latest version, it also serves to model a process, to document it. Giving documentary characteristics to the attributes defined in the tasks.

**What do you dislike about ProcessMaker?**

I don't like the PHP debugger that it has, since it gives very basic and little classified information about the bugs that the code has. If this component will be improved, the tool would be much friendlier. The version that handles HTML to edit output documents is very old and the editor is very unfriendly, so the documents that can be generated are limited and difficult to design.

**Recommendations to others considering ProcessMaker:**

I recommend checking the number of systems with which you have established plugins for easy integrations, as well as the ease of development, which is very similar to designing in a process modeler and only other layers such as triggers are added

**What problems is ProcessMaker solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problems that I have solved mainly are simplification of processes, digitalization, elimination of printed documents, elimination of written approvals, reduction of time, reduction of staff displacements in the search for approvals and reduction of man hours when performing automated processes.

  ### 33. Great Way To Improve Efficiency Of Operations

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Susana M. | Systems Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2019

**What do you like best about ProcessMaker?**

For growing the workflows, it does not need development tools. It's incorporated UI and workflow variants designer, which can be useful for non-programmers to construct their workflows easily. Database connectors and APIs are offered for integration with other IT systems. Custom made features/functions are simple to execute since it follows the plugin structure.

**What do you dislike about ProcessMaker?**

Through use, the machine is getting slow. The pages take longer, resulting in users' dissatisfaction. We've been working to tackle this matter. The version updates require the quantity of time for testing, and your installation since a number of these workflows might be compatible with the newest edition.

**Recommendations to others considering ProcessMaker:**

Contemplate for substituting business process workflows that involve a good deal of, Processmaker. It takes the ideal amount of PHP programming skills to create workflows while Processmaker supports construction workflows with integration with external programs. Then you're great with Processmaker In case you've got a who will create those workflows.

**What problems is ProcessMaker solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am giving a job which helped me to maximize it and make a more user friendly procedure, I also understand that there's not much maturation of this tool because it includes some mistakes and that I understand the layout somewhat dated, but it's also quite good for the problem of time because it saves you a great deal of work.

  ### 34. The best solution for performing tasks.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Renata P. | Image Editor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 11, 2019

**What do you like best about ProcessMaker?**

This application is very simple to use and the good thing about it is that we can create a lot of things, to communicate with it is very good, several tools to perform workflow tasks. follow the process of other users.

**What do you dislike about ProcessMaker?**

For now there is nothing I do not like, the more I would like to erase or redo the case counter, but this may be something I have not found, because I am still new to this software. panel options.

**Recommendations to others considering ProcessMaker:**

A greater desing adjustment, because in many cases it is not very simple to create dynamic forms, as they remain in a very fixed and ungracious block.

**What problems is ProcessMaker solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am doing a project that has helped me a lot to create a friendlier processor, but I also have a few tool features, because there are still some errors, and I see the application design very simple.More is also very good to use the app, but save money. quite the work.

  ### 35. Very good tool to follow process flows in a company!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Luis O. | Seguridad de la Información, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2019

**What do you like best about ProcessMaker?**

Very useful tool to follow processes in a company with already defined standards, in our case it was used to follow purchasing processes, very easy to create requirements and follow flow of approvals, approvals are defined by users and with a mail alert system so as not to lose track. It is easy to be connected if the service is hosted in the cloud can be accessed from anywhere and from any mobile device. The tool is very customizable according to the need of the process.

**What do you dislike about ProcessMaker?**

In some cases with the cloud services it may take a while to ask questions, however it is quite functional.

**Recommendations to others considering ProcessMaker:**

Very good tool for the development of internal processes in an organization, it is possible to establish responsible at each stage of a process.

**What problems is ProcessMaker solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I solve in the purchasing area to process the requests and assign responsible in the whole process. The user moves to his tray every stage of the process.

  ### 36. Excellent management software

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Diegsy S. | Directora executiva, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 25, 2019

**What do you like best about ProcessMaker?**

I like it because it's easy to create web forms, then associate the web forms with a specific task in the BPM designer. You can create permissions to disallow/allow users to access specific levels in a given case, and you don't need a deep understanding of the business flow if you are a technical person.

**What do you dislike about ProcessMaker?**

When I try to use many of the functions, it throws errors. When I set up a process for the first time, it notified me of several errors and the errors take several months to resolve, for example, it deletes saved cases. There is no way to automate deployments to the production environment.

**What problems is ProcessMaker solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In general, it is a good system for managing the internal process. It is economical. Our clients use ProcessMaker to create requests for our products, quality reports, and incident report management.

  ### 37. The tool is very useful and offers many efficiencies. Implementation needs work

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gustavo T. | Field Service Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 11, 2019

**What do you like best about ProcessMaker?**

It is very easy to use. Provide more visibility to our users. This makes our workflows easier. Email approvals are a great resource for our approvers.

**What do you dislike about ProcessMaker?**

It needs more user permission options. We need to have different types of access to different users. For now, the basic options do not meet all our needs. Some offer too much access or others little access.

**Recommendations to others considering ProcessMaker:**

I advise potential clients to optimize their business processes before automating them. This is because automation can only increase the ease or difficulty of a business process.

**What problems is ProcessMaker solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It currently has only one automated workflow. The adoption was normal. The user is enjoying the ease and clarity of the system, forms and workflow. We're enjoying not having to change roles and track emails. Electronic approvals are an essential resource. Implementation has been more challenging than expected. This being our first implementation, I found some issues I didn't expect. Implementation took longer than previously thought.

**Reviewed by:** Sivakumar K. | Director - Enterprise Applications Development, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2019

**What do you like best about ProcessMaker?**

It doesn't require a separate development tools for developing the workflows. It has integrated workflow and UI forms designer which is handy even for non-programmers to develop their workflows quickly and relatively easily. APIs and database connectors are available for effective integration with other IT systems. Additional custom features/functions are easy to implement as it follows plugin architecture.

**What do you dislike about ProcessMaker?**

Over a period of usage the system is becoming slow. The pages take much longer to load causing end users dissatisfaction. We have been working with Processmaker team to address this issue.

The version upgrades require good amount of time for the installation and testing as some of the workflows developed may not be compatible with the new version.

**Recommendations to others considering ProcessMaker:**

Consider Processmaker for replacing standalone business process workflows that are currently involves lot of paperworks. While Processmaker supports building complex worflows with integration with external systems, it requires good amount of PHP programming skills to develop complex workflows. If you have an inhouse programmers/developers who will be creating these workflows then you are good with Processmaker.

**What problems is ProcessMaker solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were able to replace many of the paper based manual workflows with Processmaker which is one of the our core objectives.

It's the most flexible one I have ever used. It is built for enterprises, AD integration is a breeze. There are so many assignment rules to suit your needs. Triggers can be placed any time during the workflow:

Before assignment
Before/after routing

Notification settings are also aplenty

As am enterprise user, there are also no email action available for users to approve or reject using emails.

Process maker has helped transformed a few processes in our organisation into paperless.

**Reviewed by:** Vimal T. | Senior Change Management Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2019

Manual Workflow was time consuming and to get all Approvals and consolidate those was itself a big task.
But after Processmaker the Workflow took very less time as users in different part of the globe who needs to Approve was able to do it easily and Processmaker seemlessly captured all Approvals in one single page

  ### 49. Great product, intuitive interface and great support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Angelo G. | Mr, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 08, 2019

**What do you like best about ProcessMaker?**

The best part about using Processmaker is the intuitive user interface which not only looks great but is easy to use. There is also a lot of great documentation online which helps whenever you run into difficulties. The support team are very good and not only do they respond quickly when a problem is logged, but they keep in touch until the issue is fully resolved.

**What do you dislike about ProcessMaker?**

Testing processes is very difficult in Processmaker. While dynaforms have the view function which is useful for testing javaScript, their is no easy way to test and debug php triggers. The only way to test them is to actually start the process and see if the triggers work, which is time consuming. Errormessages also leave a lot to be desired, as the "whoops, looks like something went wrong" provides no useful feedback.

**Recommendations to others considering ProcessMaker:**

While it is very simple to start making processes, some coding skills will eventually be required. Luckily, processmaker provide a wealth of great documentation, and reading through as much as you can will help in building powerful processes

**What problems is ProcessMaker solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Currently, the company is using processmaker to get rid of paperwork involved in business admin processes, and speed up the flow of a process from one user to another, while making it easy for users to operate the programme.
We are also trying to ensure that best practices are followed throughout the company, and processmaker helps us as it makes it easy to track cases from start to finish, and allows us to see which users did what very easily.

I Would like in the future still working with Pm bpms and maybe work directly with ProcessMaker, I think this bpms has a lot of cappabilites that another that i have tested never will have.

**What do you dislike about ProcessMaker?**

The only thing that I dislike from ProcessMaker is that so many companies from my country think that is complex because the code that need to be writen, but it is bullshit because the code that processmaker need to be usefull and powerfull is very little

**Recommendations to others considering ProcessMaker:**

The only thing that you have to do is implement again, a for non programmer/technic user give them some tools or options to automatize some triggers or optiosn, like in PM 2.x in dynaform a normal user, could select some Js events without write a single line of code
