Pro Tip is tip management software that automates tip distribution and maintains wage compliance across all 50 states and Washington, D.C. The platform integrates with point-of-sale systems to eliminate manual tip calculations and applies state-specific wage rules, including minimum wage, tip credits, overtime, and multi-role policies. Staff members receive real-time transparency through detailed earnings breakdowns that display wages and tips combined. Managers access analytics on tips, labor costs, and employee earnings without spreadsheets. Pro Tip supports flexible tip distribution models and automatically updates to reflect changing wage laws. The system reduces manual data entry and provides one-click payroll exports in PDF or CSV format compatible with any payroll provider.
