"Best headless CMS for most scenarios"
What do you like best about Prismic?

Im using prisminc foor around 1 year, and its limits are crazy, dynamic content building, its very easy to use, and with slice machine, developement speed gets doubled. I have ben using it very frequently like on theweekly bases, and never hit the api limit as or now.

Implementing components is also very easy with the slice machine, just create a slice and update, and it will automaticaly handle things, unlike other headless cmc, where we have to make content manually.

Talking about Integration with techstakc, its very convenient and documentations help a lot in that.

Customer support is also active and resolving, Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Prismic?

As of now i hav nothing to dislike, i suggestion i can add is, rich text field is very confusing, please provide a options of formatters like "U", "B" and other all possible, so that its easier to write dynamic content like a blog post more easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Very helpful and good framework integration"
What do you like best about Prismic?

I love the developer experience, especially with React. Modeling using the slice is also a good feature Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Prismic?

The support is really bad, based on community, and no real way to report issues even emergency issues with security risks.

I would love to have some ticketing or things like a chat with zendesk or intercom. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A User-Friendly CMS with Some Navigational Challenges for Non-Techies"
What do you like best about Prismic?

As someone who isn’t particularly tech-savvy but uses Prismic.io for work, I appreciate how easy it makes managing content. What I like best about it is how simple it is to navigate. The interface is clean and straightforward, so I never feel overwhelmed. Creating new pages or updating existing content doesn’t require technical knowledge, which is a huge relief. It feels a lot like filling out forms, so once you get the hang of it, it's easy to keep things updated without needing help from the IT team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Prismic?

Sometimes the way the content is structured is a bit confusing. For example, if I need to update something specific, it can take a while to figure out exactly where that piece of content is stored. Also, if you make a mistake, it’s not always clear how to go back and fix it without deleting things by accident. I’ve found myself needing to ask for help more often than I’d like when things go wrong. Lastly, while the editing process is simple, customizing the look of the content feels limited unless you have more advanced technical skills.

Overall, I like that Prismic.io allows me to manage content without much technical know-how, but it can be a bit tricky to use when something doesn’t go as planned. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great Platform"
What do you like best about Prismic?

I have used Contentful and Sanity.io before. But I think the data access part is easier than these platforms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Prismic?

"Very easy to set up a blog/custom content website within minutes"
What do you like best about Prismic?

I love how easy it is to setup dynamic content for any kind of website and any kind of tech stack. The implementation is barely 10 lines of code and you are good to go.

Even if you run into some issues, there is a vast community which you can ask, and their own customer support team is always glad to help.

Whenever I have a client website that needs custom dynamic content, I make sure to use prismic always. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Prismic?

The platform (including slicemachine) takes several seconds to load up. It does not feel blazing fast. That is the only thing holding back the user experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Prismic - A Powerful, Flexible CMS for Fast Website Growth"
What do you like best about Prismic?

Prismic is a powerful tool that empowers developers and marketers to collaborate seamlessly, facilitating fast website launches and maintaining consistent brand experiences. What sets Prismic apart is its deep integration with modern frameworks like Next.js, Nuxt, and SvelteKit, ensuring high performance and flexibility for developers. The platform's headless CMS approach, combined with its customizable "Slices" feature, enables teams to create reusable components that significantly speed up the website creation process. Marketers benefit from the Visual Page Builder, which allows them to independently build and update pages, giving developers more time to focus on new component creation. This dynamic workflow promotes faster releases and consistent branding.

One of Prismic’s standout features is its balance between developer flexibility and marketing independence. The Slice Machine tool enables developers to locally build powerful components, which marketers can use to update pages without any technical knowledge. This balance allows teams to launch pages faster and easily adapt to changing needs, making Prismic an efficient tool for both teams.

I also appreciate the active community in the Prismic forums. It’s encouraging to see users help each other and many questions being answered quickly. There is a strong sense of collaboration, though more responses from the official Prismic team would be welcome for more complex issues.

Prismic’s headless architecture leads to improved performance and simplified maintenance. The flexibility and reusability of Slices enable marketers to create on-brand pages independently. Features like Preview and Releases help ensure high-quality content deployment, while additional features like the Media Library, Localization, and User Roles enhance its overall versatility. Prismic's seamless integration with popular frameworks means websites built with it are not only fast but also scalable.

So far, I have completed two projects using Prismic and expect to work on more in the future, as the platform continues to prove adaptable and efficient in a variety of projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Prismic?

While Prismic offers a strong platform, there are some areas where it could improve. The documentation, though generally useful, could be more comprehensive, especially when it comes to newer features and improvements. Additionally, quicker responses to user feedback in the forums, particularly regarding missing features, would significantly enhance the user experience. Implementing updates more quickly would also be beneficial, as they are often critical to the success of ongoing projects.

Forum support could also see improvement by having more direct involvement from Prismic’s official team. While the community is active, more authoritative responses from Prismic, particularly for technical or feature-specific issues, would boost reliability and confidence in the platform.

One valuable enhancement would be the introduction of affiliate opportunities for developers who choose Prismic. Allowing developers to earn revenue for recommending the platform to clients would be a great incentive. Currently, the partner program seems tailored more toward large agencies, leaving smaller businesses and freelancers without access. Expanding this program to include independent developers would make it more inclusive and beneficial to the entire developer community. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The best CMS I've ever used!"
What do you like best about Prismic?

It's easy to use, the interface looks nice and it's free. It's also pretty straightforward when it comes to its implementation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Prismic?

I would like to see a couple features that are not yet available: conditional fields and the ability to connect different fields (for example, use the data from a field group as the options for a list field). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
