## About Prismic
Prismic is the agentic web platform where teams and AI agents turn strategy into quality on-brand pages, from a single campaign to a whole website. Its agents run specialized ABM, SEO, and GEO playbooks, producing hundreds of distinct pages from one starting point, each true to the brand, built to get found in AI search and convert, and the team's to own and edit. Marketers can start with landing pages, and developers can bring a whole site over with their AI coding tools, all on one headless foundation the team owns. It's made for digital businesses where pages drive revenue and pipeline, and marketing can never ship them fast enough.

## Prismic Reviews
 ### 1. Highly customizable CMS!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Izabelle H. | Marketing Communications Manager, Financial Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 02, 2024

**What do you like best about Prismic?**

It's extremely customizable. We were able to build the CMS to fit our exact needs. It also doesn't use third-party plug-ins so our website speed has improved considerably.

**What do you dislike about Prismic?**

The search function within the CMS itself is very poor. I have to command + F search to find anything and even then it still gives me trouble. This is a small thing, but it is a huge source of inefficiency. I believe improving this is on their product roadmap.

**What problems is Prismic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Primisic to host our website content. It allows us to edit all aspects of our site without much dev support.

**Official Response from Lidija Kacar:**

> Hi Izabelle, thank you for your feedback! We completely understand how important efficient search functionality is, and we’re excited to share that we’ve recently improved search within the CMS. You can now enjoy faster and more reliable search results, designed to make navigating your content easier. We’re always looking for ways to improve, and your feedback helps us prioritize what matters most. Please feel free to share any further thoughts with us!

 ### 2. Prismic.io is a must use tool for your website!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Prismic?**

I like most how simple and user-friendly the system is. It makes the editing and publishing an easy and enjoyable experience!

**What do you dislike about Prismic?**

There's honestly nothing I dislike about prismic.io.

**What problems is Prismic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prismic.io enables me to create a highly customized and performant website tailored to my specific needs that without the system I wouldn't be able to create.

 ### 3. Fastest CMS I've used

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Richard P. | Marketing & Communications Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 24, 2023

**What do you like best about Prismic?**

Content updates go live very quickly. Love the ability to send a preview link to a non-Primic user. We integrated prismic into our team and workflows without a hitch. I use it multiple times every day and the simplicity impresses me each time. I've not needed to use their customer support because all of the featured supplied have done the job!

**What do you dislike about Prismic?**

A more visual CMS would be useful, but not crucial!

**What problems is Prismic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Speed of content updates. Approval processes. Experimenting with web content.

 ### 4. The perfect bridge between CMS and frontend development

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Thibault S. | Co-fondateur - Frontend Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2024

**What do you like best about Prismic?**

The easy way to create reusable component and make them available into the backoffice.

**What do you dislike about Prismic?**

Pretty tricky to create a static content (ex: a price table) and access it from anywhere.

**What problems is Prismic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Flexibility on changing UI, full code available to developers.

 ### 5. Gives power to the whole team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pablo O. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 03, 2023

**What do you like best about Prismic?**

It maintains the efficiency of the development of the projects, giving the flexibility related to the content and the necessary structure to be able to reuse the components/sections

**What do you dislike about Prismic?**

Part of what I don't like is related to the menus, it's not bad and they can be resolved based on the current structure, but if I compare it with something like Wordpress or any cms that handles menus, something is still missing, the point is that the one that is It fulfills the objective very well, it is more the shock to the change because it is a different paradigm. The actual is being easy

**What problems is Prismic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sometimes, the solutions for my customers need custom solutions, and the request could be something like that. "I need any solution editable but not WordPress," or "I need this specific technology, and I need to change the content." Prismic is a complement of all the stacks that we use for our customers. The other fact is that we teach to use Prismic to our customers in 15 minutes or just with a manual, something that does not happen in other technologies.

 ### 6. Great Product

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** florin c. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Prismic?**

It is very user friendly and easy to learn.
It does not crash
Everything loads quickly.

**What do you dislike about Prismic?**

Can not think of anything. My experience was good so far,

**What problems is Prismic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Adding content for website.
Makes it easy and fast

 ### 7. Prismic allows me to edit and go live in almost real-time

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 29, 2024

**What do you like best about Prismic?**

One of my favorite things about Prismic is that I can quickly edit content that has already been published and not have to rely on my dev teams to make it live.

**What do you dislike about Prismic?**

There isn't anything that I dislike about prismic.

**What problems is Prismic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prismic is solving our need behind having a tool to process content editing without the input or bandwidth of developers. It benefits me by being able to quickly edit and create pages without having to use precious time from other teams.

 ### 8. Flexible tool used widely in our business

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tom W. | VP Product, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2023

**What do you like best about Prismic?**

Flexibility - we have a unique ecommerce offering with a complex product > add to cart funnel and have managed to scale a significant number of unique journeys through content management.

**What do you dislike about Prismic?**

Asset search capability could be better. It's hard to find and reuse assets through the search feature.

**What problems is Prismic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a unique ecommerce 'middle' funnel, where products can be highly personalised. Most of our products have different types of personalisation. In order to scale more journeys across the site, prismic has afforded some flexibility.

**Official Response from Lidija Kacar:**

> Hi Tom, thank you for your review! We're glad to hear that Prismic's flexibility has helped scale your unique ecommerce journeys. We’ve recently improved the asset search capability in our media library to make finding and reusing assets easier. We hope this enhances your experience, and if you have any further feedback, feel free to reach out!

 ### 9. Prismic is the best headless CMS we have tried.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** José A. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 18, 2024

**What do you like best about Prismic?**

For the ease it has for integration with different web technologies.

**What do you dislike about Prismic?**

What I don't like is its support for GraphQL. Its implementation has been a bit complicated, and that definitely should improve.

**What problems is Prismic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The implementation of a headless CMS for our website and our blog.

 ### 10. Building Websites with a CMS like Prismic is a great experience

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Juan Francisco A. | Web Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2023

**What do you like best about Prismic?**

Prismic gives you the tools to compose your content seamlessly. It's one of the best headless CMS experiences you can have; if you love developing outside the monolith, using tools like Next, or Nuxt, you'll even have workflows that will allow you to build your Website with a component-in-mind paradigm.

**What do you dislike about Prismic?**

I think there's still missing a feature for clients to make their own components or page editions; and for some clients and editors, this is a must. In WordPress, we could say that this is existing by default, but, as Prismic is a headless CMS, it seems that the editors will always have to ask the developers to make even the minimal changes to customize the presentation features.

**What problems is Prismic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm offering clients to build their Website using Prismic, as It's helping me to get rid of cluttered platforms like WordPress. Since I can build decoupled solutions with Prismic, I'm free to find the frontend tools and other parts of the Website outside of a framework, which helps me to solve issues faster and without compromising the other parts of the Website, including the data related to the CMS.

 ### 11. Easy to use and very user friendly

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lewis F. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2023

**What do you like best about Prismic?**

Great interface for writing content and editing pages. Going headless has aso really sped up the overall site speed.

There is also plenty of resources available for training.

**What do you dislike about Prismic?**

Can be hard working witho no sitemap although this is mainly down to the structure of our website.

**What problems is Prismic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a fairly large site on our old platform we were struggling to keep it running at an acceptable speed. This is no longer an issue and we are reaping the rewards.

 ### 12. Very flexible and fast CMS

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Henrik W. | Chief Marketing Officer, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2023

**What do you like best about Prismic?**

Flexibility seems like the biggest thing, very customizeable (although dependent on developers for these types of changes).

Once you've learned how to use it, it's fast to work with.

**What do you dislike about Prismic?**

If you've worked with Wordpress or other similar products, Prismic is a bit different. Not very visual, but it seems like this is about to change though with the latest updates.

**What problems is Prismic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Publishing content, scaling our website.

 ### 13. Difficult UI for very simple content updates

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Music | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 12, 2024

**What do you like best about Prismic?**

It requires minimal coding knowledge at least

**What do you dislike about Prismic?**

Difficult to locate the page I want to update
Difficult to update tags/categories
Too many steps to update imagery
Confusing to find previews of a single page - I have to relocate to the section of the website where the page is instead of just auto previewing the page I was already working on
Not intuitive to format text as H1/H2, etc

**What problems is Prismic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I update my company's website with new copy, new blog posts, new images and updated links

**Official Response from Lidija Kacar:**

> Thank you for your feedback! We understand the difficulty in locating pages and appreciate your input on the search functionality. We've also taken note of your comments regarding previews and formatting. Your feedback is valuable to us as we continuously look for ways to improve. If you have any further thoughts, feel free to reach out!

 ### 14. Easy CMS for Editors with no coding knowledge

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Publishing | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2023

**What do you like best about Prismic?**

Prismic is a good CMS for editors as it very much acts like a drag and drop style. Once components are built by the dev team, it's very easy to know how to input content and images and it's easy to rearrange and add new slices to the page. The staging envrionment is a good feature we use daily.

**What do you dislike about Prismic?**

Prismic's support can take a bit of a long while to respond, which means problems aren't resolved too quickly. Prismic's slice machine is not that great for supporting complex websites with a lot of new complex components.

**What problems is Prismic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prismic helps with quick website page builds and edits, and being able to review changes on the staging evironment before pushing live.

 ### 15. remarkable development, enhancements, and fast helpful support.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hamada G. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

Efficient Content Management: It streamlines our content management processes, making it easy to create, edit, and publish content across various platforms.

Quick Updates: With Prismic, we can make real-time updates to our content, which is crucial for keeping our website and other digital assets up to date.

Workflow Efficiency: Prismic's features enhance our workflow efficiency, saving us time and effort when creating and managing content.

 ### 16. An amazing way of having a website easy to manage their content using the last web technologies

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alejandro V. | Senior Backend Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 05, 2023

**What do you like best about Prismic?**

The versatility that slices give to the content creation. Also the UX of the UI tool.

**What do you dislike about Prismic?**

Your content is removed when changing or removing a custom type or slice at slice simulator. Also, there are some things you can not do, like ordering tabs of a custom type.

**What problems is Prismic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Have not only a CMS with the other services/technologies you want, but website structure and design.

 ### 17. Easy to use platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katy E. | Director of CX, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Prismic?**

Anyone on the team can use prismic to help with content creation for our website without having any background knowledge or training on html or web development.

**What do you dislike about Prismic?**

I'd love even more features that we could use to help drive sales like scrolling galleries with product placement.

**What problems is Prismic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Moving off of shopify themes to a headless front end, we needed a solution to add content to our blog pages that our content team could easily get to. It was a smooth transition between the two platforms.

 ### 18. A solid CMS, although pricing changes are a bit painful

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Leisure, Travel & Tourism | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Prismic?**

Prismic is well laid out and easy to navigate. We use it regularly to update our site, and the templating is logical and has a good number of features that meet our needs.

**What do you dislike about Prismic?**

The recent billing changes represent a substantial increase in pricing.

**What problems is Prismic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a CMS that could power our marketing website, providing us with tools for content updates, news posts, and image hosting in one place. Prismic does all this, and gives us an easy way to edit and manage our content using blocks. The interface is well laid out and can be picked up by new team members easily.

 ### 19. easy to use and get started. really good customer support.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Savio Vian F. | Business Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2023

**What do you like best about Prismic?**

It is very simple and easy to use.

Prismic provides an easy way to host content, be it test, images, pdfs, allowing teams to very easily update and publish it, across various languages.
Prismic also makes it easy to integrate the content and display it on our site.

What i like most is the aproch to data and the idea behind slicemachine. Is really easy to use and to implement in your workflow. The Customer support is fast and helps you out even with beta feature.

**What do you dislike about Prismic?**

I hope in the near future the will better suport the content relationship without the need to query multiple times object that are already related.

**What problems is Prismic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fast prototiping and POC

 ### 21. Good Tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ana B. | Marketing Coordenator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Prismic?**

Simple interface, easy to use. content management autonomy.

**What do you dislike about Prismic?**

media library management, everything gets messy. Filters are very broad, they return results that don't make sense, so there could be more filter options that would restrict the search.

**What problems is Prismic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

website content management with greater agility and autonomy for the team

**Official Response from Lidija Kacar:**

> Thank you for your review, Ana! We're glad you find Prismic easy to use and appreciate your feedback on the media library. To help with media management, we've introduced tagging and filtering options, making it easier to organize and find assets. We've also introduced improved search which should make finding your media way faster. We hope this improves your experience, and if you have any further feedback, feel free to reach out!

 ### 22. Easy to use

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Wine and Spirits | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 10, 2024

**What do you like best about Prismic?**

Prismic is easy to use and to pick up from haven't used the platform before. Very hulpeful that is has multiple repositaries so can segment our brands efficiently.

**What do you dislike about Prismic?**

This may be due to the implimentation and set up of our own digital agency but it can sometimes be quite limited to what you can do as you have minimal control over content block details etc

**What problems is Prismic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps to manage the front end of our websites across our 5 brands.

 ### 23. Prismic offers freedom and flexibility

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Louis R. | Software Development Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 09, 2024

**What do you like best about Prismic?**

Its interface is minimalist and simple: it's focused on content management, and users aren't lost with a multitude of options. It's up to the developer whether or not to allow content modification. We are using it a lot. The Prismic team (customer support) is listening to feedback to make future versions even better.

**What do you dislike about Prismic?**

The interface could be improved though, with new features.
Implementation / integration not really easy in some particular cases.

**What problems is Prismic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Be more flexible than Wordpress, for example

 ### 24. Not bad for Startups

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam B. | H, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2023

**What do you like best about Prismic?**

The functionality that allows business users to reuse components - once build by the engineers, this means we are free to build what we need.

**What do you dislike about Prismic?**

The media library is awful, this would be once reason to change platform because of how bad this is.

**What problems is Prismic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Good for building components and features to allow business users to be free of engineering support, however limited ability to scale and a terrible media library

**Official Response from Lidija Kacar:**

> Hi Adam, thank you for sharing this honest feedback—we’re sorry to hear the media library has been frustrating. Recently, we introduced filters and tagging to improve organization, along with updates to enhance search functionality. We're committed to making the media library more user-friendly, so please let us know if there are specific issues you’d like addressed. Your insights are essential in helping us improve!

**What do you like best about Prismic?**

Prismic is fast, responsive, easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Prismic?**

The platform is easy to use and build upon. It functions as a robust platform for all things content and editorial.

**What do you like best about Prismic?**

Prismic is an easy to use CMS tool to maintain a multi locale set-up. The option to duplicate elements in different locales saves us time reflecting in to be more efficient time-wise.

**What do you dislike about Prismic?**

Currently there is no option to create multiple workspaces for different projects within an repository. This would be helpful to streamline processes and give acces rights to specific users to reduce confusion.

**What problems is Prismic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prismic is busy with a solution to create multiple workspaces. Creating multiple workspaces would make the onboarding easier, as it will allow us to focus on relevant types and streamline the process, reducing confusion and questions.

 ### 41. The most user-friendly headless CMS

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marving M. | Cofounder, Web Developer, CMO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2023

**What do you like best about Prismic?**

How easy it is to use and implement, from a developer perspective AND from a non-developer perspective.

**What do you dislike about Prismic?**

The per default multilang set up based on path with country & region (e.g: en-us), which forces me everytime to implement a workaround to have a subfolder /en or /fr instead of /fr-fr

**What problems is Prismic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Custom-made web-app with heavy SEO optimized content

 ### 42. Best hosted CMS with excellent developer experience

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ali P. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 12, 2023

**What do you like best about Prismic?**

Everything just works out of the box with the latest SDK updates and clients find it very easy to use.

I particularly love the dynamic slices and their invention that is called 'slice zone'. You put a single component inside your file, pass it data coming from Prismic and it take care of rendering each single component you've built and hooked to Prismic data.

The slice machine also comes with a whole developer app that lets you do content modelling and mocking all in one place.

Pretty much everything you need in one CMS.

**What do you dislike about Prismic?**

Their client facing UI could definitely do with some overhaul. As much as it is simple (just table documents), as soon as the data complexity grows (think nested documents or related documents) it's very hard for non technical users to figure out how to add content to the cms.

If there was a new view in the UI that let's you edit nested or related documents from a single parent that would be perfect.

**What problems is Prismic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the problem content versioning and hosting. Once I develop a content model for a project or website, Prismic takes care of serving me the data all from one place. I even used it as a mini database for a learning management system to host my course and programme content then used document relationships to build internal links within the app.

 ### 43. Prismic connected to a nuxt.js app.

**What do you like best about Prismic?**

I like the way you handle your cdn for your media. I also enjoy how stable the platform has been.

**What do you dislike about Prismic?**

I wish you made an option to add multiples of a document at once in the repeatable zones.

**What problems is Prismic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prismic helps us to serve a lot of static assets in a proficient way with their cdn.

 ### 44. Perfect for seamless collaborations between content and dev team

It can sometimes be on the slower side, but this only happens sporadically.

**What problems is Prismic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We previously had a wordpress website with too many menu's and subcategories that wasn't easy to use for everyone in our company, now everyone is able to edit small changes and look at draft posts without it being too complicated. They way the websites are seperated by language in the backoffice is also pleasant. (We have a website that's both English and Dutch.)

UX is pretty solid. I utilize prismic on a daily basis and it is almost always simple to implement what I am trying to do.

**What do you dislike about Prismic?**

I do not have many complaints about prismic. It is a good tool, but is not the best fit for one of our products, which we use wordpress for instead.

**What problems is Prismic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Content management for a large scale website.
