"Reliable Cloud-Delivered Security with Robust Features"

5/5

What do you like best about Prisma Access?

Prisma Access provides a comprehensive cloud-based security solution that ensures secure access to applications from any location. Its seamless integration with existing security policies and robust threat prevention capabilities make it a strong choice for enterprises. The ability to scale security across users globally without compromising performance is a significant advantage. Additionally, its user-friendly dashboard and AI-driven threat intelligence enhance visibility and control over network security. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Prisma Access?

While Prisma Access offers excellent security features, the initial deployment and configuration can be complex, requiring skilled expertise. Some users may experience latency issues depending on geographic location and network conditions. Additionally, troubleshooting issues related to policy enforcement and connectivity can be time-consuming. Pricing can also be on the higher side compared to other alternatives, making it less viable for smaller businesses with budget constraints. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Prisma Access solving and how is that benefiting you?

Prisma Access is solving the challenge of securing remote and hybrid workforces by providing cloud-delivered security at scale. It eliminates the need for traditional VPNs, reducing complexity while ensuring consistent security policies across all users, regardless of location. Its Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) model minimizes attack surfaces, protecting against modern cyber threats.

For me, the benefits include improved network visibility, simplified security management, and reduced risk of data breaches. The centralized dashboard and AI-powered threat intelligence enhance proactive security measures, making it easier to detect and mitigate threats efficiently. Additionally, Prisma Access optimizes performance with cloud-based security enforcement, ensuring seamless connectivity without compromising security. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Safe, secure, and out of the way"

4/5

What do you like best about Prisma Access?

It is safe and out of the way for developers to develop and not think about security! That means security will be handled by Palo Alto, which is very helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Prisma Access?

Prisma Access has GlobalProtect VPN which connects to my network. Sometimes it does not connect but I'm not sure if that is because of our networks or because of Palo Alto Networks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Prisma Access solving and how is that benefiting you?

Connecting to a secure corporate portal so we can use it securely. Additionally the monitoring is important to track for my company. This reduces threat actors and hardens infra. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Prisma Access Delivers"

4/5

What do you like best about Prisma Access?

It consolidates multiple security functions—firewall, SWG, ZTNA, CASB—into a single platform, which reduces operational complexity and improves visibility across the entire network. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Prisma Access?

the initial setup and policy configuration can be complex, especially for teams that aren’t already familiar with Palo Alto’s ecosystem. The learning curve is steeper than expected, and getting the full value requires time and skilled resources Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Prisma Access solving and how is that benefiting you?

Prisma Access is helping us solve the challenge of securing a distributed, hybrid workforce without compromising performance or visibility. With users connecting from various locations and devices, we needed a way to enforce consistent security policies while reducing reliance on traditional on-prem solutions. Prisma Access allows us to deliver secure access to applications—whether cloud-based or internal—through a single, cloud-delivered platform.

This has significantly reduced risk exposure, simplified management, and improved the end-user experience by minimizing latency and connectivity issues. It’s also helps in meeting compliance requirements more effectively, thanks to centralized logging, threat prevention, and integration with identity providers for zero trust access.

"Excellent way to review and find great software."

4.5/5

What do you like best about Prisma Access?

One stop shop to look for all the software we need for our business. The search feature allowed us to find tax and accounting software we badly needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Prisma Access?

Nothing really. The website is clean and search interface is super helpful. But I do think the availability of the software can be somewhat more exhaustive in terms of pricing and features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Prisma Access solving and how is that benefiting you?

We were experiencing serious issues with network security. The team was completely overwhelmed with the incident reports and it felt like we would never catch up. The software we purchased allowed us to improve efficiency and reduce turnover times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Good quality"

4/5

What do you like best about Prisma Access?

Prisma Access is pretty powerful when it comes to providing secure, scalable, and easy-to-manage cloud-delivered security for remote users and branch offices. What I like most about it is how seamlessly it integrates a range of security services—like next-gen firewall protection, secure web gateways, and cloud-delivered IPS—into a single platform.

Its ability to support remote work without compromising security is key, especially with the increase in hybrid work environments. Plus, the cloud-based nature of Prisma Access means it can scale quickly, offering businesses the flexibility they need as their workforce grows or shifts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Prisma Access?

For organizations without a dedicated network/security team, the initial setup can be a bit complicated. Configuring and fine-tuning security policies, especially when you need to account for various user groups and branch offices, can take time to get right. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Prisma Access solving and how is that benefiting you?

With more people working remotely, traditional perimeter-based security (like on-prem firewalls) becomes less effective. Remote users are more vulnerable to attacks because they are often outside the corporate network and security layers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
