We use it very often and it's got many convenient features, such as assigning printers to a floorplan so that the users can find exactly which printer they need. **What do you dislike about PrinterLogic?** Customer support can take a little while sometimes. **What problems is PrinterLogic solving and how is that benefiting you?** We used a printer server before, and users required admin permissions to connect to a printer. We were able to get the whole thing, from start to finish, implemented and deployed within just a few hours of work. **What do you dislike about PrinterLogic?** Can't say there's anything I dislike. Maybe they can send me more cookies? I don't know. **What problems is PrinterLogic solving and how is that benefiting you?** We wanted to fully eradicate the need for a Print Server. We're a smaller shop that started with just a Domain Controller that hosted most of our other processes and servers. As we began growing, we saw an immediate need to offload services away from our DC, for obvious reasons. PrinterLogic enabled us to remove entirely the print server, as well as deal with automatically adding users to their applicable printers. The more users we onboarded, the more prevalent this benefit became. You need knowlege of configuraitons of your environment you will deploy the app, once you deploy it! you will not need highly experienced persons to manage your PrinterLogic, assign delegated admin and they can do 99.99% of tasks. This allows you to travel to your different sites without worries that you will not be able to print. 2) Be able to change the Printer driver in the background and when user devices check in with printer logic, it can grab a new printer profile. 3) Cloud base software, so it eliminates you needing a dedicated server to host the printer. 4) Makes it easier for users to add and remove printers, without needing IT personnel to help. **What do you dislike about PrinterLogic?** 1) After pushing PrinterLogic through policy, you will still need to do the setup process of going to the website and turning on the extension. We use PrinterLogic to deploy printers, and define default printers via VLAN as we have a lot of "Floating" users that go from branch to branch, and we wanted to make their printing as easy and effortless as possible for those users. Every issue or question I had with the product, I leveraged their support and had good answers promptly, and accurately! **What problems is PrinterLogic solving and how is that benefiting you?** We needed to be able to define printers and set the default users for several "floating" users using their VLAN/Subnet/IP Address range. Considering its direct IP printing it makes troubleshooting super easy as well. Off network printing is a cool feature. I didn't even know our users needed to print while working remotely but apparently they do. Printerlogic thought of that too. Everyone on the account and support teams are extremely helpful and knowledgeable of the product. Never had to wait for another engineer to contact us on a problem. **What do you dislike about PrinterLogic?** I would like support for v4 drivers. When we flipped the switch, we had absolutely no issues deploying the client and extension to our computers and the installation of printers is very intuitive for end users. Before, I had to pull up my print server when a user needed a printer mapped to their computer. Now, I show them PrinterLogic and they say "Wow, I could have done that myself!" **What do you dislike about PrinterLogic?** We had some weird CyberArk interaction where CyberArk was blocking the installation of a printer using PrinterLogic, but thatwas an issue on CyberArk's side that they were able to fix with a support team meeting. **What problems is PrinterLogic solving and how is that benefiting you?** Users needed to know the name of our print server and manually type it in to file explorer on their laptop to install a new printer on their laptop before PrinterLogic. With PrinterLogic we are able to have our end users point to a printer on the "map" and have it install seamlessly. Even though its a change for our users, it makes it easier as well as gives us safety knowing we are protected. We didn't want to give local admin on each printer server to our users to avoid the printer nightmare vulnerability so PrinterLogic gives us the ability to allow users to add printers and not have extra permissions. If Windows Server dies, the Print Server must be reinstalled, which will prevent users from printing. This Printer Logic resolves all those concerns. **What do you dislike about PrinterLogic?** The support team should be on the same page as the engineer. Support takes a long time to resolve little issues, but calling the engineer takes a minute, and sometimes reaching the engineer is problematic, so you are held in the queue to handle your minor issue or query. **What problems is PrinterLogic solving and how is that benefiting you?** No printing if the server is down for any reason. Not all printer drivers work well with GPO-based deployments. Printer Logic saves the Windows license, whether on-premises or in the cloud. Made it extremely difficult to consistently add printers and drivers to workstations.
