Support has been outstanding the people at Vasion print. We have over `000 users and multiple sites that use this every day. Integration is amazing and automatic. You can wait 4 hours or sign out and into windows or refresh the configuration and your done. **What do you dislike about PrinterLogic?** I know Vasion is still developing there product. The parts that I believe should be worked on and improved is the scanning piece. They dont need much I.S intervention to install anything which gives our department back quite a bit of time. The knowledge base that Vasion has is also very impressive. I am usually able to find any answer to the questions i have by reading the forums. It is very handy to have. **What do you dislike about PrinterLogic?** Finding an .inf file for every printer can be such a hassel. Sometimes I have to contact the manufacturers to see if they can send it which is a great deal of extra work for me because they are not always so forthcoming. If there was a library of printer drivers, i think that would be very helpful **What problems is PrinterLogic solving and how is that benefiting you?** We used to get constantly bogged down with requests about installing printers. It was excessive. But now, our people are able to install the printers we made available to them even when they move from building to building. It has saved us so much time. We also use it in multiple locations and without having an admin on site to install printers, our users still have no issues. No more remoting in to or trying to describe how to install a printer. It was so easy to implement and setup. A quick refresh of configurations, and boom a user now has access to all the printers they could need, all managed and done during the deploy of the printer. No need to worry about users trying to print to a printer they aren't supposed too. They will only have access to what is assigned. The number of features within printerlogic was great, and very easy to integrate. We use printerlogic nearly everyday, especially with me being the main printer tech here at 4Wall. **What do you dislike about PrinterLogic?** Printerlogic doesn't always like plotters. Plotter drivers are often not always supported, and I often have to resort to legacy plotter drivers like using a T520 driver on a T650, or using a HPLG driver on one that only has Version 4 drivers. Version three works just fine. Customer support has been questionable. I have had both a wonderful experience, and a terrible one, both about plotter drivers funny enough. **What problems is PrinterLogic solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is most helping us solve the issue of all users having access to certain printers. The online portal is nice and syncing users with our IDP is great. **What do you dislike about PrinterLogic?** The technology appears to be an inadequate transfer from on-premises to cloud, resulting in suboptimal performance. The Printer Control Panel Applications (CPA) are not functioning efficiently and their implementation is lacking when compared to other options. The Canon CPA, in particular, operates very slowly and lacks responsiveness. Furthermore, both the Canon and Lexmark applications do not offer an administrator login feature, necessitating a complete uninstallation of the applications prior to modifying printer settings at the control panel. **What problems is PrinterLogic solving and how is that benefiting you?** Removing on-prem printer services and decoupling user authentication from Active Directory. ### 10. Printer logic has all the web portals available in one spot so troubleshooting issues is simple. It was a quick and easy switch over from Azure and you barely have to touch it once its setup. It makes it easy for the end user to choose the printers they like and ignore the others. We manage multiple sites in many states, users can easily print something in a remote office if they so choose. I also like that it frees up IT from printer deployment. IT makes a one time deployment and we're done. Reporting has been helpful as well, to determine printer usage. **What do you dislike about PrinterLogic?** Sometimes the web browser add-ins fail. I wish there was another way to achieve the web page interface, with no add-ins. It also very easy for the users to use. It makes my jobs as an administrator very easy. You can easily assign specific printers to groups or individual machines even customize defaults. It also now supports wildcarding which makes it super easy to administer. **What do you dislike about PrinterLogic?** The biggest downside I can think of would be the cost. It is based per printer queue, so if you have a lot of printer queues it can get quite expensive. It can someones be a bit painful to define printing defaults but works well once defined. **What problems is PrinterLogic solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is replacing servers and printer scripts. Our printer script was over four thousand lines of code. This replace the need for this and still gave us the same granular control. It is all web based so we don't have to manage print servers and giving access is easier to people outside our domain due to us not having to allow access directly to internal print servers. It has also worked solidly with very few if any real problems. **What do you dislike about PrinterLogic?** I think the only ding against this product so far was that we were never able to integrate to both Google and Azure. It was something we were told that would work, but we have not been able to get it to work, even with their support. We have been told that it will work in the future.
