What I like best about Primo RPA is the way it combines automation of workflows with intelligent document processing in the same platform. In our organization, we are dealing with many invoices and purchase orders coming from different vendors. Earlier, the team had to manually check each document and enter the data into our accounting system. It was time-consuming and also easy to make mistakes.
With Primo RPA and the AI Server, we could train the system to understand different invoice formats without needing a data science expert. The model adapts quickly, even if the document layout changes. We especially appreciate that the solution can run fully on-premise, which is required in our internal IT policies.
The robots are reliable in daily execution, and the learning curve for the team was not very high. The Studio environment is quite friendly, and the AI extraction rules can be adjusted by our business analysts themselves. This helped us reduce manual workload and improved processing speed in a very practical way. Overall, it gives us more confidence in the accuracy of our financial data entry. In our experience, the initial setup of the AI extraction models required some time and trial-and-error. Since different vendors send documents in many layouts, we had to spend effort in tuning the templates and validation logic during the first phase. Once the configuration was stable, the daily work became smooth, but the early stage needed patience.
Also, since Primo RPA has many capabilities (RPA, AI Server, Orchestrator), sometimes new users may feel a bit overwhelmed unless proper onboarding is arranged. We resolved this by taking a short training session from the vendor team, and after that, it became easier for our business analysts to handle the adjustments themselves.
Overall, these points are not major drawbacks, but more related to learning and configuration time at the beginning. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
