When signing completes, Prime Document Sign stores completion records for the document owner, sends confirmation notifications, and retains audit-friendly metadata such as signing timestamp, IP address when obtainable from the client, browser user agent, device timezone, and a SHA-256 fingerprint computed from a canonical string of the agreement content and captured signer field values. That combination supports everyday evidence of who agreed and when. Signed PDFs are produced by rendering the agreement and signing capture into a portable document; they are suitable for many routine B2B and B2C contracts, but they are not EU qualified electronic signatures (QES), embedded PAdES/PDF digital signatures, or a substitute for legal advice. Requirements for regulated industries, specific countries, or high-assurance identity should be validated with qualified counsel. Privacy Policy and Terms of Service describe how personal data is handled, limitations of retention and availability, and user responsibilities including downloading and retaining signed documents within the timeframes described in those terms.
