**What do you like best about Prevue Assessments?**

I like the in-depth look it gives you when conducting hiring assessments. I feel I really get a good sense of who the person is and what motivates them. The interview questions are a big help as well; this is something I've found to be different from other assessments we've used in the past.

**What do you dislike about Prevue Assessments?**

One thing I feel it's missing is actually getting to see the results specifically for the numerical portion of the assessment. It's not a deal breaker, but we've used it internally with other assessments before as a benchmark.

**What problems is Prevue Assessments solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The assessment results provide insight into candidates (and often current employees) that we may not have considered before! It asks us to take another look at someone's qualities and how they might succeed in their role.

**What do you like best about Prevue Assessments?**

Customer service is fantastic. They are not pushy about sales and very easily reachable. The assessments are very accurate and really show applicant's true strengths and weaknesses. All of the managers seem to think it's very easy to use as well. It is not a program that I am constantly having to troubleshoot or help people navigate, which saves me a lot of time as an HR professional.

**What do you dislike about Prevue Assessments?**

We used to be able to resend assessments without going to the "hub". However, the hub offers a lot of cool analystics. Just wish we didn't have to take that extra step.

**What problems is Prevue Assessments solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prevue Assessments helps us eliminate people who are going to be bad fits for the job. If we see that someone scored a red, we won't even waste our time in the interview process.

**What do you like best about Prevue Assessments?**

We have signed up for Prevue last year and we love the platform. Actually, I did it some research and found it through Software Advice. Our whole Team loves Prevue and it has been a great help to streamline our recruiting process. The quality of the new recruits has increased significantly.  It is also highly customizable and integrates well with UKG. sit has been a great Onboarding experience. Our Account Executive, our Onboarding Manager, is absolutely fantastic! He is eager to help and replies to our numerous requests quickly. 

There are many additional great features with Prevue; the ease of use, adaptability and it seems that the Prevue Team improves the software continuously. We also really like the look and feel of the software. We have not had to reach out to the Prevue Customer Service yet but I heard it is very good.

**What do you dislike about Prevue Assessments?**

We have not experienced any downsides. I don't expect any.

**What problems is Prevue Assessments solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are confident that by sending personality self-assessments to ur candidates, it will help the recruiters in selecting the best candidates for our entry-level Sales position.

**What do you like best about Prevue Assessments?**

I really liked the off the shelf "soft skills" assessment that helps provide a view into the candidate's personality and abilities,  The real winner for me was the ability to create custom questions for "hard skills".  Between the two, I am able to get a detailed look into who would be the best candidate for the open position.

**What do you dislike about Prevue Assessments?**

This is a little “picky,” but the filters are a bit “funky.” When I create a filter on a list of candidates, it disappears after I click into a candidate and then return to the list. The support team showed me a “work around” where I open the candidate in a new tab, and that works OK, although it’s a bit cumbersome.

Also, getting candidates to take the assessment can be a little challenging. The “abilities” section (shapes, numbers, words) can feel intimidating, but of course that’s also part of the test of a candidate’s desire to join the team.

**What problems is Prevue Assessments solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me assess dozens of candiates with a systematic approach to evaiulate their soft and hard skills.

I most appreciate the support Prevue provides!  We can schedule training for any of our Recruiters or Managers anytime.  Our Customer Success Manager is the best of the best!

While Prevue performs extremely well, candidates are often confused when they cannot access the assessment as a result of already completing one for us during a prior employment application process.

Prevue is an extremely solid product for matching candidates/employees to the right role.  We love that we can easily transfer an employee's/candidate's assessment to different job roles within our company for job-fit comparison.

It is hard to know which assessments to use and run. When there are multiple ones completed, you have to download them separately, instead of a full report

Finding the right people for the culture of the company. Making sure we are able to do that by interviewing and the assessment is a big help.

**What do you like best about Prevue Assessments?**

I love that Prevue Assessments helps us identify red and green flags with candidates, ensuring we find the best fit for the role and organization, especially with respect to the work culture they'll be entering. One of my personal favorites is its benchmarking feature, which allows us to ground truth what we're learning from candidates during interviews. The benchmarks are great for confirming if candidate responses align with what we're seeing, and when someone falls off the benchmark, it helps identify if they're aware of their default qualities and motivations. Additionally, the updated Prevue Assessments site is so much more intuitive and user-friendly compared to the one I used from 2020-2022, making the setup process very easy.

**What do you dislike about Prevue Assessments?**

I wish the Approach to Work was always included with the regular assessment. There is so much value in looking at the two together, and in our previous subscription we had access to both and used them both, but because we don't have Premium, we don't have access to the Approach to Work. It should almost just be included in the regular assessment.

**What problems is Prevue Assessments solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Prevue Assessments to identify candidates' abilities, motivation, and personality fit, ensuring they meet role requirements and organizational culture. The benchmark reports help ensure our understanding of candidates aligns with their interview responses.

**What do you like best about Prevue Assessments?**

I like that we can tailor each assessment to the individual job. I also appreciate that once the candidate completes the assessment, the report provides both the raw data as well as an interpretation of that data.

**What do you dislike about Prevue Assessments?**

I found the enablement process very challenging. When we first became a customer, we were given one person to help us learn how to use the tool and interpret the results. Both my colleagues and I felt that the enablement and training were disjointed and confusing. The training didn't start at the beginning but instead jumped around a lot. We needed to first understand the user interface and how to navigate the platform, but the training wasn't arranged that way. We were often lost hearing about tricks and tools for things we hadn't seen yet.

Prevue Assessments gives us a clearer picture of candidates in their role, helping us discuss relevant skills. Tailoring assessments to job needs provides impactful insights, and reports with data and interpretation enhance our understanding.

At times there seems to be an IT glitch but usually if I retrigger/resend the assessment out, the candidate does receive it on the second attempt.

I like that Prevue Assessments marks traits on a scale so people don't just assume a personality, and that it helps in understanding behaviors without putting people in boxes. It effectively aids in driving interview questions and helps teams understand each other's behaviors better. The initial setup was very easy.

**What do you like best about Prevue Assessments?**

They're very thorough and accurate. Talking things out with my consultant, Josh is also wonderful. He helps me zero in on exactly what kind of candidate I'm looking for while hiring. He really cares about my team and helps me get the assistance needed to get the job done!

I've taken the assessments and they are straightforward. They also include an FAQ for candidates to go through that perfectly answers the questions candidates ask about assessments. 

Additionally, the assessment summary doesn't phrase anything negatively, just paints certain traits as stronger for some jobs than others. It's very diplomatic, which I love. I've used other assessments in the past that are really invalidative and I'm not looking for something like that.

Using it was straightforward and it was easy to implement into my company. There's not a lot of extra steps. It feels very plug and play. I don't have to think about it.

**What do you dislike about Prevue Assessments?**

Literally, nothing. I love everything about Prevue. You are a top tier company and everything is absolutely wonderful.

Prevue is helping me screen out extra candidates who aren't actually interested. They are also helping zero in on exact questions for the second interview.

I think Prevue Assessments is much easier to read than the assessment we were using before, and I really like the probing questions based on the results. I enjoy how easy it is to use, and Ryan's support in giving us all the insight to be successful is appreciated. Having insight on how to read the assessment really helps me use it and explain it to managers on the results for their people.

Prevue's team-types assessment component helps our associates better understand the preferred communication styles of team members and how to optimize collaboration. With awareness comes renewed perspectives on team member behavior and respect for different work styles. It's a game-changer for teams that have never taken the time to address their productivity in this way. Plus, it's always fun to discover more about yourself!
In addition, our Customer Success Manager has provided excellent support and introduced us to an Industrial Psychologist, who has helped provide us with customized training for several of our leadership teams. It's great to have good partnerships like this to get the most out of the tool.

**What do you like best about Prevue Assessments?**

Prevue provides an extensive library of skills assessments in addition to the personality and culture assessments. These tools enabled us to improve our hiring practices and get more qualified candidates in the door. We targeted one particular department with a high turnover rate and saw drastic improvement. Ensuring that we have candidates who have the skills we require and align with our company culture and values has been important to us. Prevue has helped us get there.

**What do you dislike about Prevue Assessments?**

If I had to pick a downside, it would be the lack of a leadership assessment. It would be nice to have the ability to assess supervisory candidates on management and leadership qualities.

**What problems is Prevue Assessments solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prevue has provided us with a reduction in turnover. We were able to see quick results. In addition, the customer service is amazing. Our customer success manager is responsive and helps guide us to use the product to its full potential.

I like how thorough the assessments and reports are.  I also like that the way the questions are asked, it makes it difficult to "fake" your results.  We have had great implementation support, the psychologist and Solutions consultant are amazing and the options for how we use it internally and externally are working great so far.

**What do you dislike about Prevue Assessments?**

I wish there were an easier way to upload existing employees into prevue and do a bulk send where possible.  In the case of existing employees, we are a smaller firm and I can't imagine doing it with more.

**What problems is Prevue Assessments solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using it to improve internal communication and collaboration across time zones, team types and borders.  We are using it to have a better understanding of candidates working styles, and build interview guides that are personalized and more dynamic than they have been historically.

The assessments, case studies, and reporting features are all very user-friendly. The implementation process was straightforward, and the customer support from our account manager was excellent, with quarterly check-ins and a willingness to answer any questions we had. We primarily used Prevue for hiring and to compare candidates against our top representatives, which proved helpful throughout the hiring process.

I don't have any real dislikes. However, our executive team is considering shifting toward using the DISC assessment in the coming year, partly as a way to reduce costs.

The assessment tool was very insightful during the hiring processes.  It provided very useful information that assisted the hiring managers in determine a good fit for a position.  It was easy to use and launch once the assessments were integrated with the application tracking system.

The only downside is that we could not integrate the assessment tool into our electronic hiring module with Paychex,  In our quest to streamline the hiring and onboarding process, we had to give up the assessment tool.

Prevue Assessments has been a great tool for determining an applicants basic skill levels and personality traits allowing the manager to assess whether they are a good fit for the position they are applying for. Many times a resume doesn't always provide a complete picture therefore during the interview process, having the knowledge the assessment provides and the suggested interview questions based on those results, assists the manager in conducting a more robust interview with a prospective employee.

I am the administrator for our Prevue account with 40 users. Consistency is always the most difficult thing to achieve within a company and Prevue absolutely helps us achieve this for our recruitment process. I can always count on Justin if I am ever stuck with something and he is always willing to help out.

I wish it had a little bit more flexibility with being able to personalize it to our company - example is for the employee referral program, I would like to have the incentive auto fill for anytime one of the hotels chooses to use the employee referral program but I am unable to do this. This will cause some inconsistencies with the program as I am now relying on 40 General Managers to put in the exact same wording

Recruitment consistency across 40 hotels. With Prevue, it allows the job postings for all hotels to be posted according to our brand standard, there is very little room for error. The system is very user friendly for those that maybe a little technology challenged. It also allows us to easily and quickly communicate with the candidates - so that all candidates know where we are at within the hiring process. The system allows us to see if a candidate has applied prior to other locations, so we don't hire a candidate that won't be a good fit.

Not the first time Prevue has had connection issues.

The insight we have gotten on candidates has been so helpful in creating a robust recruiting process. We are able to feel more confident that we really know who we are hiring and ensure that we are hiring the best fit. 

We have also been able to use it in learning & development for our current employees. It has served as the foundation for development plans of first level supervisors/managers, so we can help them grow in leadership.

Customer Support from Prevue is by far the best of any vendor we have worked with. Our Customer Success Manager, William Lewis, has been so attentive, helpful, and patient with us as we roll out Prevue. Meetings with him have been so productive, but also enjoyable. He keeps an eye on our account and reaches out regularly to make sure things are going well. He also was so patient with many of our managers during the many benchmarking meetings before I felt confident doing benchmarking myself. We have often made the comment that we want to find people like Will to hire for our software division.

**What do you dislike about Prevue Assessments?**

We don't feel as confident in the questions the assessment asks to reach motivation results. The questions don't seem to capture all the ways someone could be motivated by people, data, or things. For instance, it seems that the questions used to guage people motivation are almost all around physically taking care of someone. 

Benchmarking can be a painstaking and teidious process due to needing to benchmark every single position in the organization during implementation. I'm not sure this can really be helped without sacrificing quality, but just a sidenote.

I would love to see more reports or ways that we can use this for employees after hire. Maybe more reports around development?

Quality of hires. We are able to have a deeper recruiting process and get to know candidates better. The interview guides have been extremely helpful for a more individualistic interview rather than a one size fits all.

The reports are easy to read and provide a wealth of information about each candidate's personality, strengths/weaknesses, and motivations for work.   The tables provided in the reports are very insightful.   Also, it's super easy to send an assessment out to new candidate.  It is also helpful at weeding out candidates that aren't serious applicants.   If the results don't align with what we're looking for in a particular position, we may decide not to offer that candidate a formal interview.

I personally took a Prevue assessment before we started using the application.   Some of the math and cognitive assessments were actually pretty challenging.  I was afraid that some candidates might get frustrated with taking those tests, so we don't include them with our usual assessments that we send out to applicants.

One of the biggest problems we had before we started using Prevue was identifying quality candidates for our firm.   Because we are lawyers, and not HR specialists, we didn't really know how to go about fixing that problem.

We love that we are in control of benchmarks, that the applicants are compared to our baked-in culture rather than default standards. We love the multiple reporting functions and just how much information you can get. The customer service is phenomenal, and it is very user friendly with the continued updates. They keep adding more features to make things more efficient, as well as meet even more needs such as the work report or the culture assessment. All of them are valuable and we have seen it in real life whether one works out or not. If they dont, their prevue is often a lower than ave match.

Sometimes there are little bugs but they get fixed quick. Sometimes the verbiage in the report is a little misleading. Sometimes the team type and the individual reports are a little contradictory, but i always frame it as "when this person is working on a project in a team" not their default personality.

Prescreening candidates and shortlisting them when we have a high volume of people with the same experience. It has shortened time taken in other steps, and helped new managers in interviewing and coaching.

The support from PreVue has been very helpful. We can run candidates through multiple assessments, so if we’re considering them for different roles, they only need to complete the assessment once. These assessments also provide us with excellent questions to ask candidates about areas where their results fall outside of our expected ranges.

If you have several people in the same role, it’s useful to have the team take the assessments to establish benchmark standards. For roles with only one or two people, benchmarks can be set based on the job description. The assessment itself is quick—while candidates have an hour to complete it, most finish in about 30 minutes.

We’ve also assessed our entire team, gaining valuable insights into both strengths and development areas. Each job role has its own customized benchmarks, and the assessments are short enough to avoid survey fatigue, so candidates don't quit midway.

There really isn't anything that I can think of that I dislike.

PreVue assessments provide valuable insights into our candidates, giving us data to make more informed hiring decisions. If they score low in remote suitability and we don’t have a local office, this flags the need to explore their capacity for remote work in more detail. We also use one tool to assess their fit for the specific role and another to evaluate their work style—such as whether they "work to live" or "live to work."

Its user-friendly interface and comprehensive assessment tools which has greatly improved our hiring process by saving us time and resources. **What do you like best about Prevue Assessments?**

Our company loves how many options there are for assessments and skills tests. We hire for a wide variety of positions, and there seems to be a testing option for everyone! Our rep, Justin Goldstein, is one of my favorite vendor reps to work with. He always responds very quickly, most of the time has the whole answer, and lets me know when it may take the tech team some time to look into things. I never have to worry about if he forgot about my email. He's the best!

**What do you dislike about Prevue Assessments?**

Can't really think of anything. You guys are always improving the product and it's integration with UKG (our ATS), and it's clear you strive to make the user experience a better one with each update.

**What problems is Prevue Assessments solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making sure we hire candidates that closely match our current high-performing employees.

None that I could see as of yet. Maybe having standard job descriptions to create more studies.

Comparing current superstars to talent coming in and seeing if they are the right fits for our organization.

**What do you like best about Prevue Assessments?**

What sold us on Prevue was the customization options that they provide that truly individualize your assessments to your organization's needs. They set you up for guided implementation and provide customer support with an assigned representative. It easily integrates with our ATS system taking this to next level.

**What do you dislike about Prevue Assessments?**

The one downside for us was skills tests are additional cost to our package - but that was not a dealbreaker for us.

**What problems is Prevue Assessments solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having candidates take pre-hiring assessments in a timely fashion.
