**What do you like best about PrestoDB?**

It is open source and flexibly runs on HDFS or FS. The distributed nature of it allows to run queries faster and utilize the resource at their max if designed properly. Community is great as well.

**What do you dislike about PrestoDB?**

It is harder for Presto to stay relevant as many analytical DB solutions of today are much more price efficient. The learning curve and design considerations are far steeper in Presto, making it unnecessarily complex. It also requires a lot of other tools to fill the gaps as it is not a complete solution.

**What problems is PrestoDB solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our motivation was price back then, and it served its purpose until it started to become a liability. Being open-source with huge community support helped us built it easily.
