What do you like best about Premier Construction Software?

I love that everything is on one platform, tech support/customer support is AMAZING! The job dashboard is very easy to navigate for Po's and CO's. This system has improved level of accuracy, and time when entering data in AP. I am still learning how to run payments and entering daily reports but both modules have increased our efficiency. What do you like best about Premier Construction Software?

I like that all work is represented in real time. As a result the accuracy of the reporting gives confidence to our team. What problems is Premier Construction Software solving and how is that benefiting you?

JONAS is very open to client collaboration and as a result I find myself thinking of things to present to JONAS from time to time. It is amazing when a vendor listens and impliments and asks your opinion. As a result we have expanded our use of JONAS's Unlimited storage of information for eventually a single soure to find all sorts of industry relatred documention and filing. What problems is Premier Construction Software solving and how is that benefiting you?

Automation. We can email invoices straight from the system. We no longer keep piles of paperwork in a folder on a job or lose invoices form subcontractors. We use workflow for approvals from project managers and scan all invoices to AP, which flows directly to attach to the job. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Premier is our One Stop shop for all our records"

What do you like best about Premier Construction Software?

Premier has incredibly easy functionality. It just makes sense, which you can't say often about software products. The capabilities of the system are also incredible. From detailed job costing features for all our projects to the accounting capabilities for ALL the companies we are putting into Premier, it's so capable. The intercompany capabilities are like nothing I've seen with any other system. We have over 30 companies so it used to be a nightmare for me to book entries - having to rebook at every entity. Premier is able to book an entry in one place and record it all all the applicable entities. The intercompany JEs are automatically created at that time. HUGE TIME SAVER!

I LOVE the cost plus billing. It has literally cut my billing time down by 80% I'd say. Premier is also able to provide combined financial statements with full drill-down capability, so I can quickly determine what entries were made, what support is related to those, and what remaining entries are necessary. It's amazing! Can I also just say that I love it's web-based. This was important for us when we initially purchased Premier, but in light of the 2020 year this has been a lifesaver for us with everyone working remotely.

I'd also like to mention that Jonas is very responsive to customer suggestions, so when (if) we bump into something that wasn't as simple as it could have been, Jonas gets on it to make it better! With other systems, reversing entries or invoices was a multi-step process, but Premier understands all the steps and has incorporated them into one step. There are so many examples like this. Things like that really make this a stand-out system. Additionally, related to customer service, the support/service team is absolutely incredible. What do you dislike about Premier Construction Software?

Recommendations to others considering Premier Construction Software:

I would recommend you try to think of your most complicated tasks and ask the Premier Sales Rep to show you how Premier would handle that situation. For example, we have multiple entities that consolidate into one so we asked specifically about that. Related to that was the ability to handle intercompany transaction easily and efficiently. We also inquired about the job costing features and what reports and dashboards would be available to us for tracking purposes. We also wanted a system that could bill in different formats, whether that be a standard invoice or in an AIA format. Premier can handle them all. The support team is able to build just about anything you could think of needing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Premier Construction Software solving and how is that benefiting you?

Premier is able to track every detail of our projects, and we are able to go back and extract data that we need. It helps to keep us organized and on top of our projects. We're able to identify issues early on and take corrective action to remedy. As I mentioned earlier, we're billing directly from the system with total ease. All the appropriate accounting entries are generated when we bill. The supporting documents are just a one-click addition to be included in the billing. Premier really did a great job putting themselves in the user position and asking "what functions would make this process more seamless and simple". It really is quite amazing.

Additionally, it has strong GL/Accounting features, which is hard to find with a Construction Job Costing system, so we are able to use Premier for all aspects of our business. We currently have over 30 entities in Premier, and the systems is able to handle them perfectly. Intercompany and consolidations have never been simpler. This is great news because we'll only be adding more!

The invoice approval workflows are great. We're able to keep everything housed within Premier. All our users can log in and approve invoices, then off the invoices go to the next designated approver. Instead of running around trying to get everyone to review, it's all done simply here. Love it! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
