An amazing customer service for a platform that is continuously improving and innovating **Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Fabrice R. | Contracts & Data Protection Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** November 10, 2022 **What do you like best about Precisely?** About the platform: great features, intuitive user experience, we gain a lot of time and avoid errors at the sales proposals generation stage, smooth internal collaboration between our three users About the customer service: a dedicated person in our native language that is very competent and extremely responsive, consistently exceeding our expectations The platform is continuously improving and there is a good communication about the changes **What do you dislike about Precisely?** Negotiation stage : - Attachment file: most of the time, our customers do not find our T&Cs file that is attached as a pdf (so that it is not modifiable) to our services agreement. We have to explain to them how to find the file or send it by email. What would be amazingly great: make it more visible. - Redlines: most customers are reluctant to use the redlines/comments features inside Precisely. They download the file in Word format and we have to do it the old way (OK this is our fault we can technically prevent them from doing so if I am correct). When we do it inside the tool, it is less smooth than in Word (the tool creates a bubble for each single change which is messy, and the customer cannot see what we have rejected). Signature stage : - We do not like Hellosign (now Dropbox sign) for 3 reasons : 1) we cannot insert signatures blocks (there is only a page summarizing the signatures at the end of the doc), 2) when we use the delegation feature it is messy, 3) the customers are reluctant to use it because they cannot download the file to check it before signing. That is the reason why we are moving to Adobe Sign (in course of integration by the Precisely team) **What problems is Precisely solving and how is that benefiting you?** Automation of the sales proposal generation. Before Precisely, only our Managing Director was drafting the proposals, and the templates to use for this were not really defined. This was time consuming, prone to errors and non-collaborative. Obviously the product, and how easy it is to take "word template contracts" and turn them into automated dynamic and flexible contracts. On some contracts, we have gone from 20 hours in preparation to less than one while satisfying all governance and stakeholders in the process. **What do you dislike about Precisely?** The maturity of the product, we have met several limitations, but most of these limitations have been mitigated by improving the product and are no longer limitations. **What problems is Precisely solving and how is that benefiting you?** Speed and governance on signing business opportunities and archiving and retrieving contracts, overview of agreements that are due for renewal. By automating the contract drafting process, we created a safe environment for drafting agreements for the contract originators and significantly reduced the time the legal team spent reviewing agreements. And it's such a comforting feeling to know that we can avoid any manual calculation mistakes due to the advanced formulas available in the tool. The approvals settings and sophisticated user roles allow the various departments of our company to be active users in Precisely - from sales, account management, and marketing to business development and human resources. This brought the collaboration and synergy between different teams to another level. One of the most vital features is the metadata you can collect for the contracts created - this helps with our reporting a lot. And to save the best for the end - the Precisely team is fantastic! Whenever we suggest an improvement, they listen to us and take our comments with them, which then often leads to new features being rolled out, and this kind of relationship is essential to us. The questions, how to connect them, why the signatures work the way the work. How the link between the docusign and the document works. Also to understand what is the best way to create certain clauses etc. Takes time, sometimes when we are busy, there is no time to learn and start creating. I soon found out that a tool like Precisely offers even more useful aspects as a contract drafting and signature process. Compared to its competitors Precisely stood out as all these functions were well-rounded and one function did not outshine the others. It is a great overall tool. **What do you dislike about Precisely?** This is not a strong dislike, Precisely is still fairly young and flexible and not all minor functions or hacks are already available. For example user roles, the e-signing tool, etc. our organisational structure doesn't really fit Precisely structure. Another example is not to be able to send documents through the system via email. Template creation is simple as content and format are individually adjustable to one's needs (e.g., for Sales and HR contracts...). The check and review of contracts are intuitive and collaborative, followed by the signature process and archiving. Plus, the support is always fast and solution-oriented. **What do you dislike about Precisely?** Template creation offers many design options, but some minor features are missing that one is used to from docs like Microsoft or Google (e.g., it is impossible to delete more than one row of a table at once). Most times, there is a workaround. Automation (for bulk sendings) and Integration with other tools (like Employee Management Tools) are not straightforward.
