The new UI isn’t as user-friendly as the older version. Also, the new version sometimes freezes out of the blue, which disrupts the overall experience. What problems is Precisely Automate Studio solving and how is that benefiting you? I work a lot with SAP data uploads, changes, and retrieval. Automate Studio has eliminated much of the manual, repetitive work, which has resulted in significant time savings. I’m also able to retrieve information from SAP that isn’t normally accessible through standard t-codes. For mass data activities, there’s really no alternative to Automate Studio. We are particularly impressed by the combination of flexibility, user-friendliness, and departmental autonomy. The ability to handle SAP mass data maintenance in a structured and repeatable manner using Excel-based templates is extremely helpful in everyday work. It is also noteworthy that key users can act independently without having to involve IT for every adjustment. This decoupling ensures faster processes and simultaneously relieves the IT department. The integration of the latest version into our existing infrastructure was less positive. It turned out to be unexpectedly complex. Specifically, we were only able to use the current version after a fix from the manufacturer, which provided an integrated browser in the installation routine. The resolution took several months until this solution was available. Mass entries in SAP GUI, for which there are no mass maintenance functions, can be made available to users in a relatively simple way. In doing so, the SAP authorization and check logic, for example when scripts are recorded via the SAP GUI, is taken into account. Otherwise, it can flood with PI with IDOCs. We followed the following steps: 1. Collected the vendor's master data and legacy master data 2. Completed the field mapping wwith sap fields. 3. Get the excel file from the development team 4. Upload the data on the excel file 5. Validate the excel file data 6.
