What do you like best about PractiTest?

The best part about this tool is the user friendly interface. We have lot of business users using Practitest and compared to other tools, they are really comfortable with the tool interface. Also level of customisation to suit project needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PractiTest?

Frankly nothing major but yes if they can integrate with the test automation tool stack in the SAP world . Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

With regard to integrations, we try to be tool agnostic as all different tools have their own little differences which could break more customised approaches. A more generic approach allows us to support so many more systems.

The organization of the app, the integration it has with other tools and automation technologies like TestIm, Jira, API Integration, the test library is similar to other tools Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Mostly that I need to do a lot of manual process to pass my results to Jira or just run a test case, I would like to have a way to just link a test set to Jira without having to create requirements, test cases, test sets and then run it, also same thing to run a test, after I write one I would like to run it automatically without having to create a test set to run Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The workflow and perspective of using PractiTest for a developer like me. PractiTest is a Test Case Oriented Management tool. Filters indeed is a unique feature of PractiTest from other competitors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PractiTest?

The structure of Json for custom fields & no integration of PractiTest to other popular tools if using PractiTest Rest API. While Filters is interesting feature of PractiTest, this same feature presents a lot of manual work on PractiTest. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

In regards to our automation integrations capabilities, this is an area we are constantly working on improving, and to that end, we have developed two additional utilities to integrate test automation results - Firecracker, and xBot which help facilitate the process of integrating multiple test automation framework and processes.

For our filters, in order to make the process of generating them easier, we have added the automatic filters option. This option allows you to create filters based on field values, significantly reducing the manual work needed to be done to set them up.

What do you like best about PractiTest?

1. Test Sets and Runs is a great feature, sessions are now possible to organize with this. We usually create test sets after every sprint which can later track easily with Practitest's simple and well managed UI interface.

2. Test cases are easily linked with story in JIRA tool, helps to trace story progress. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PractiTest?

As a best practice, we recommend working with our filters feature rather than with the classic folders system as we believe that it is much easier to manage, and allows greater flexibility and support for test case reusability. Moreover, our automatic filters feature (see link) allows you to create a hierarchical filter structure equivalent to most complex folder structures out there with a click of a button. With all that being said, we are aware that some of our users still prefer to use folders for organizing information within the modules and therefore we have a fully functional folders option as well.
