When using the free version, there are some limitations with what you can do with your video creation. For example, a person cannot download their video, nor can they make their video unlisted when uploading to YouTube. Because of the capacity for layering and icon movement, load time can take a moment, but all of these problems are solved with a higher bandwidth Internet and the paid version of the platform. This web-based program allows users to create individual unique characters, provides a variety of backgrounds, stock video and photos and music. It also provides a ton of different movements for the characters and unique characteristics that can build a specific scene you're looking for. I have used this design platform for about 5 years and appreciate this tool. I have used it for full explainer videos and I've used it for just some transitions to put into other videos I've created. The simple and intuitive way to create presentations or videos aimed at a specific work environment has never been so easy. The interactive narration of the presentations is fantastic, takes less time to create, and is easier to share through this medium. Many internal communications can be created, such as advertising, recruitment, and even training. All its templates are very easy to use as they help us clarify our ideas in the projects we have. We can easily export it to YouTube and have it available at any time. It can be presented in any environment and will be completely understandable, whether in a school, family, or business setting. Its versatility when making this type of presentation is great, and it stands out from the usual things we see in other applications. Perhaps customer service is not their strength given that the tool is very effective, but it would be good to have a person live and in person. Since it works 100% on the web, sometimes the projects are quite large and this delays processing. There is no 100% Spanish version and sometimes it is a bit frustrating, but using Google Translate can get you out of trouble. The Powtoon watermark is sometimes annoying and takes up a lot of space in the presentation, obviously in the free version. It does take a while to get used to the interface of Powtoons, but once you get the hang of it, it is really easy to use. I would like to see more graphics available under the Education version, as many of the graphics are not available unless you use the more expensive version. Powtoon's character creator is the deal maker for me. I like to create real-life-looking scenes. The character builder lets me create diverse characters who are attractive and give a sense of authenticity to my work. Powtoon is simple to learn and use. It has a single level time-line that is efficient and effective. You can set the length of actions for it characters, which allows me to create the allusion of pauses and resumes in action in a single slide. I have to create most of my backdrops from scratch. Powtoon doesn't have enough templates, especially showing contemporary outdoor city/suburban backdrops and internal office/retail scenes. Powtoon doesn't keep its users abreast of changes and updates. I often see new features appear without any warning, that I might not have discovered if I had not be accessing a certain feature. It get slow as you add so many slides or videos, once that you add three or four videos you will find that powtoon gets slow, I aslo dislike that in the past years I get exactly the same cartoons that we had used for several years, and the elements such as video letters are the same with no change I think they must work to improve it so as a video creator your videos created three years ago may be different from the ones you are creating now.
