"3D Program helps to seal our clients choice"

What do you like best?

The high level detail of the products and spatial relationship to animated end-users, presented in the program, made it easy for our client to visualize our design concept. The VR component has been a welcomed added bonus!

What do you dislike?

The band width demands of the program on the web browser, makes it run a bit sluggish if the WiFi signal is low.

Recommendations to others considering the product

This is a great tool to communicate concepts and designs. We once relied on CAD renditions, which took numerous meetings to obtain our objectives. Although we've used Powertrak for a relatively short period of time, our success rate and our efficiency to close the deal, has gone through the roof.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

During design concept meetings, we use the program to help end-users to visualize the products we have recommended they use. In one meeting, we were the chosen vendor to work with the facility yielding a potential 1/2 $M sale by the end of this month.

"It's a "Must" Level Experience!"

What do you like best?

Very simply, it makes everything more efficient. In less broad terms, as a potential customer it is incredibly empowering to see, in such detail, how others are understanding my vision, and to be able to see potential limitations or issues within the design or pricing process in real-time. Then from the perspective of a salesperson, it provides more accurate quotes, faster and more accurate facility renderings (which for us, translates to higher conversion rates!), and it empowers my potential customers in ways that our competition cannot.

What do you dislike?

As with any new technology, there's a learning curve and it can prove frustrating - that said, after 1 or 2 test drives it's pretty user friendly for all involved. Beyond that, everything worked as we were led to expect.

Recommendations to others considering the product

To really feel the value of it, you have to try using it as your potential customer. When this first became a project for us, I was conceptually supportive as the intended effect made sense. Then I actually put on the headset and had the experience of acclimating to VR and moving through it, and, WOW! I was blown away, you almost can't over-promise regarding it because its so hard to fully and fairly describe the experience.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We were looking to make gains in a number of areas, and the realized benefits speak to much of that. We've increased the efficiency and accuracy of our quoting and rendering process, that in turn feeds higher conversion rates as our leads who receive renderings convert faster and at higher rates than otherwise. Additionally, we've effectively raised the bar for our competitors.

Attack the most complex problem first and then work towards the simpler problems. The solutions team is amazing with multiple ideas to fix the problem. Excellent team that works in global environment across timezones

We use Powertrak CPQ Portal to price Happy Meal Toys across multiple open pricing books. We are able to streamline the pricing across 2 vendors and increase the collaboration across 3 global geographies.

"PowerTrak CPQ is very configurable but complex. The deployment and support team are very responsive."

What do you like best?

The tool has been able to do everything we've thrown at it in terms of product catalog rules and configurations.

What do you dislike?

The user interface is complex. We've been relying on Axonom to make our configuration changes are are only now beginning to explore doing some of that ourselves. Some of the configs required custom development and we may not be able to change those ourselves easily.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We had two goals :1) reduce the time it takes for Sales personnel to create a customer quote and 2) improve the accuracy of those quotes to avoid rework by our Billing team. We ultimately want to use Axonom's NetSuite integration to load orders directly from CPQ into NetSuite. We've been using PowerTrak for about a month and we've already seen a dip in the number of orders returned to the Sales team. Sales team likes the ease of the UI and reports less time and aggravation creating quotes.

"Axonom's Powertrak Visual CQP -- powerful and reliable"

What do you like best?

The powertrak CPQ development team is very capable. They are always willing (and able) to customize their product to fit business needs. We have been able to visually configure very complex products in a publicly available web interface using this platform. We interface with our ERP system via API and deliver customer specific pricing as well as specification documents. Axonom has been a partner for almost 5 years and they are obviously invested in our success.

What do you dislike?

We had very specific desires for the UI since the tool is available for anybody to use on the internet. We also have a very complex product line and some 'off the wall' business needs. This led to some development costs outside of the licensing of Powertrak's visual CQP product itself.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Make sure you are getting everything you need -- the 'logic' is their platform. the UI may or may not be outside of that based on who you expect to have using the tools. Administration is another factor to consider. if you customize the UI or have advanced business requirements, it may require full time support.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The Powertrak CPQ platform has simplified product selection for our customers to self quote our complex product line while increasing attachment rate and cross sales with our complimentary products and accessories. The expectation is that the tool will lead to better position with product specifiers in the future and customers will come to us first because we offer this tool. projects purchased after being designed in our CPQ solution consistently have a much higher average order value and better product category mix vs. typical ecommerce / shopping cart orders.

"A Place for Everything!"

What do you like best?

That it is customizable to meet your individual company needs. And being in the cloud makes it easy to use remotely.

What do you dislike?

The inability to change the interface of the Account screen. When syncing any email, it automatically puts it on the account screen instead of the opportunity that you choose.

Make sure you have all your information together and the engineers are very aware of what your outcome should be.

We've effectively been able to transfer everything from a simple Excel sheet to a cloud based program. The benefit of being able to review our quotes before they are sent out has and will save us thousands of dollars from the previous excel errors/problems we were having.

"Been using Axonom Powertrak Visual CPQ for over 2 years now"

What do you like best?

I like the ability to customize it to my business, and add functionality as I need it. Like many software packages, it can do way more than I am using it for, but as I need to add functionality it is already baked in.

What do you dislike?

It can be a little daunting for me, as I am not a power user by definition, but they are good about helping me through things I cant figure out on my own.

Very flexible product that is able to conform to your business.

Having all our sales, service, marketing, and product traceability (med device) functions in one system saves us a ton of time, and lets all team members see what is going on in the account.

"Axonom Powertrak CPQ"

What do you like best?

Powertrak CPQ is feature rich with a clean user interface creating a user friendly environment. We are using the toolset with Virtual Reality to improve sales effectiveness, stream line interactions, and grow our relationships with partners.

What do you dislike?

As with all applications with large capabilities the learning curve is not for the faint of heart.

I recommend the Powertrak CPQ solution and the Axonom team.

"Powertrak CPQ and VR simulation"

What do you like best?

The VR application is very cool and worked extremely well as a wow factory at our Trade Show booth.

What do you dislike?

Rotate controls can be a little awkward in VR and on the iOS app.

Works well for those who are looking to use a 2D or 3D configuring system and it can include VR integration.

"Using Powertrak to take us to the next level"

What do you like best?

Powertrak gives us the flexibility to demonstrate correct product placement as well as the ability to demonstrate and spatial limitations based on the room design. The software is very flexible and is allowing us to show our product in a way we never were able to before. The accuracy, look and feel of the models that are used is amazing and very realistic which allows our customers to get a much better sense of what their end design would look like.

What do you dislike?

The model generation is probably our biggest struggle. As we do not have a user in-house that can generate models in the format required we need to rely on outside resources. This adds to our implementation costs.

Recommendations to others considering the product

I highly recommend looking into the VR capabilities that Axonom is currently working on. So far we have seen demos of this and the capabilities that it will provide are amazing. This is something that could take your company to the next level from a presentation stand point.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The main problems that we are trying to solve with Powertrak is the ability to properly demonstrate how our equipment operates. We have many points of rotation with our equipment and Powertrak allows us the ability to properly demonstrate how each of those rotational points affects the design of a room.

"Cloud based graphic interface for website."

What do you like best?

The Powertrack CPQ platform is easy to use and intuitive for users.

What do you dislike?

The project took longer than expected to launch plus the cost overrun was a bit higher than anticipated.

Overall, it was a easy and simple process. I would recommend companies to think outside of the box and look at the needs 3 to 5 years in advance before sitting down with Axonom to start the RFQ process. It's easier to start with all the requested capability and scale back than change orders throughout the design process.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Our product configurator allows our customers to configure complex products directly from our website. It use to take our engineers hours each day to create drawing for the customer. Plus if there's a change, our engineers will have to redraw the project again. Axonom's Powertrack CPQ puts the power in customers' hands for quick and easy process.

"Configurable products"

What do you like best?

Wonderful people to work with that care about building something great that everyone benefits from.

What do you dislike?

We are building something that has not been done in Powertrak, so there is a lot of trial and error which can be frustrating, yet exciting at the same time.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Showing products that are highly configurable with near limitless solutions to an end customer prior to purchasing. Something we were not able to do prior.

"The right CPQ for the right business needs"

What do you like best?

Provides rich set of features and customization to fit our business. Love the CPQ rules and visual design. The software integrates very well with our Dynamics CRM system.

What do you dislike?

Installation and upgrade could be tricky; I think most CPQ systems would have the same requirement.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Powertrak is lightweight and fast, yet cover rich set of features. Admin and product manager will love the visual product configuration and design that is easy and intuitive to use

We do our product configuration and quoting mechanism. Great visualization for products, product families, and required/included products to quickly produce quotes.

"Imation experience with Powertrak Product Configurator"

What do you like best?

The best part of working with Axonom is their customer support. They have been incredible in meeting our needs for technical support, and have been able to work with us at the spare of the moment in solving problems. They have even made themselves available during week-end migrations and upgrades. I cannot say enough about their service model. Thank you!

What do you dislike?

We use the base product configurator. I wish we would have licensed the 2D configurator for the additional capabilities it brings along with the visualizations.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The Axonom Product Configurator allows our partners to configure complex products based on rules so we are guaranteed that they get products quoted that can be built. This saves our partners and ourselves much time and brings efficiency to the quoting process. We do not have to spend time working with the partner to re-do quotes based on components that are not compatible. The rules engine eliminates all the issues of incompatibility.

What do you like best?

axonom's powertrack cpq us a cloud based, mobile friendly configure, price and quote suite for enterprises that allows to simplify and enhance the cpq process.

What do you dislike?

It does not support some services on the market, however it is a good product.

The cpq options include product configuration, guided selling, 3D/2D visual product configuration, VR configurtor, quote management, pricing, recurring revenues and portals.

"Powertrak used for Front end tracking of customer leads, contact data base, and new opportunities"

What do you like best?

Powertrak is our Companies main data base for customer contacts. We have used Powertrak for 10 years or more.

We also use it for account listings by market.

Use of Powertrak varies quite a bit by market and allows for a big range of flexibility.

Some markets tie customer communications to contacts, some to accounts, and larger markets with large $ opportunities/projects tie e-mails to those projects. The large projects allow for all e-mails related to a project to be located in one place making PO's, timing on e-mails, and project history easy to find.

What do you dislike?

Dislikes are not a problem of this application...it lies more with the users. Garbage in...garbage out. Keeping contacts updated is an issue, but it's no fault of Powertrak. It would be nice to have a smartphone app, but integrating with our data bases would be challenging and likely not worth the $ investment needed.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Have a set of "recommended practices" for users. Ensure use of Powertrak is consistent across sales staff. Have a "champion" or power users to serve as Guru. You get out what you put in.

"Satisfied with Axonom CPQ"

What do you like best?

Powertrak CPQ allows us to preform the necessary configurations for our environment without a large overhead.

What do you dislike?

Limited ability with the configuration rules. You must always "trickle down" rules forcing us to have things appear in configurator in a less than optimal order.

What do you like best?

It's mobile-friendly and has reasonable pricing and offers significant discounts. You can also customize proposals.

What do you dislike?

The only negative thing I can even think of is customer service is a little vague when asked a detail question.

"4C mailbox configurator"

What do you like best?

The tool is very powerful and yet very easy to use. It is the best tool out there.

What do you dislike?

The tool costs a lot of money to implement.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We want our users to be able to produce shop drawings on their own. We used to have to create the shop drawings ourselves and then send them out to our customers. The process usually takes a day or two; and now our users can get the drawings in a few minutes.

"Full Satisfaction"

What do you like best?

The ease with which the parts can be added to the digital OR field

What do you dislike?

Grabbing objects that were mounted on the ceiling such as lights and booms got a bit unwieldy and hard to control.

It was a great tool to make booth visits memorable, and we hope to use it to alleviate confusion when ordering complex configurations of mobile carts

The size. It's small and light weight and still had everything I need and more.
