I don't have to call through a long list of numbers like before, and I don't have to worry about other scheduling questions. **What do you dislike about PowerSchool SmartFind Express?** I'm not too fond of how jobs are unfulfilled if someone cancels after accepting the sub job. My request doesn't go back into the system to try the next available person, and HR has to scramble first thing in the morning to find someone to cover my classes. This has happened quite a few times. **What problems is PowerSchool SmartFind Express solving and how is that benefiting you?** Smartfind Express has been a better management tool in helping schools find substitute teachers. Teachers are able to place the request and then let the automated system find the next available substitute without additional work for the teacher mamking the request. We can also upload our lesson plans for the sub to see ahead of time. This makes it easier on everyone! ### 2. I do not like that at all. **What problems is PowerSchool SmartFind Express solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am able to quickly access student grades and attendance.. ### 3. It is very easy to jump in, plug in the information required for the circumstance, and complete the task. **What do you dislike about PowerSchool SmartFind Express?** One aspect of SmartFind that makes it a little more difficult is using the software for a long-term circumstance (ie FMLA, maternity leave, etc.). The software requires the same actions for a daily task as with a long term task. It would be much easier if the software provided a quick and easy way to input a long term leave, without having to go day-by-day. It becomes quite tedious. **What problems is PowerSchool SmartFind Express solving and how is that benefiting you?** SmartFind provides a quick and easy way for schools to manage absences and substitutes on a quick basis. The automated system within SmartFind allow the secretary to have jobs filled without making individual phone calls, per absence.
