Data regarding all of our students are right at your fingertips. You only need to make sure all data has been entered and is updated. The state reports are very helpful. In PowerSchool SIS after running the report, you just down the template from the state and merge your data into the template. It is a time saver when completing state reports. What I like best about PowerSchool SIS is that you can use it as a very basic level (rosters, attendance, grades) or go to very deep levels of integration with other PowerSchool systems (Registration, Human Resources, Special Education). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I don't like is that it sometimes too complex for the typical user. Secretaries live in PowerSchool as part of their duties. PowerSchool SIS is the best record keeping software I have ever used for my students. I have been using this software for 5 years now at Somerton Middle School. The software has user -friendly interface that the first time I used it I did not have hard time using and navigating the features and functionalities. As a teacher, it is very important to me that the software I am using is functional, usable, reliable, performed well and adaptable and all of these characteristics are in PowerSchool SIS. This software maintains accuracy when it comes to keeping the records of the students specially the automatic computation of grades. I also like the I can easily do and manipulate the database operations such as Add, Edit, Delete and Update records in any way. Another great feature of this software that I enjoy using everyday is the seating plan and I can easily check the student's attendance. This is one of a kind software for me because it generates a lot of reports that teachers really need for the classroom instruction.
