The opportunity to share such personalizations with other users of PowerSchool. And the fact that PowerSchool meets customer demands. The funding was really strong. We were usually able to get the product to do what we wanted. **What do you dislike about PowerSchool SIS?** Our admin personnel often find it hard to get the data they need. PowerSchool has certainly been tackling this and developing ways that make accessing the information they need from the system easy for someone other than a database user. We had to do a lot of customizations and fields that were incorporated into the canned product now. **Recommendations to others considering PowerSchool SIS:** Once you have introduced PowerSchool, find User Groups in your state or country. These groups will provide you with as much assistance as technical support from PowerSchool. PowerSchool may have customizations added. Most are already generated by other users for you, and can be easily loaded into the framework. There is a large community of users who can provide answers to questions, advice, and customizations. One of the biggest assets PowerSchool has is the users community. **What problems is PowerSchool SIS solving and how is that benefiting you?** With PowerSchool, state monitoring has become much simpler, the opportunity to access and analyze relevant data is extremely valuable. Each time changes are made, updates instantly. The design online is also fast and attractive. It offers several features which can be switched on or off when appropriate. We use PowerSchool and Schoology, and hopefully both grow and work together. You 're very excited to know schoology. Import and export functions are easier for me. For example, this feature makes annual locker assignments very simple. **What do you dislike about PowerSchool SIS?** No new Contacts setup I do not like. It was easier to add / update parent details in the old PowerSchool Accounts version. Further action to correct the information is now available. The demographic pages are outdated and allow us to make custom pages for things such as cellular phones, etc. A steep curve of learning that most people would experience. **Recommendations to others considering PowerSchool SIS:** You'll be delighted with PowerSchool. It is not perfect, but I can do my job and I trust in the information I receive, because we are very careful with the information. PowerSchool makes me more successful. Providing you with PowerSchool SIS, you can enjoy all the training you get. If your budget is sufficient, try buying some preparation online or on the webside. I had no trouble accessing and using online recordkeeping software with this easy to use. In a better kit, the new SIS program. Expanded apps can provide you with even more program features and can be used to replace other separate systems for reporting, special training, digital classes, digital evaluation and more in your local area. I actually put less assignments in because it is so time consuming. There isn't an easy way of copying and pasting assignments either, or editing them. I like the regular powershool format much better, it is more simplistic. **What problems is PowerSchool SIS solving and how is that benefiting you?** I'm not solving any of the problems, it's your job to make the format more user firendly. ### 41. I often find there is a lot of "clicking" involved. I also can't always see/find the information I want easily. **What problems is PowerSchool SIS solving and how is that benefiting you?** I no longer have students always asking what they got for a mark on their assignments/tests as the information is sent to them in real time. Parents also get this information so there are no surprises on report cards ### 42. Quick alerts to students as well as parents are impressive to track student results. The factors involved in real time are essential and indispensable for the success of the student. **What do you dislike about PowerSchool SIS?** You can not stay up to date as quickly if you don't have Internet access at home like some students don't. It is at first frustrating to create the grade book with percentages and I needed help. When I use a digital gradebook when I use a paper edition, I think teacher who is not that young will have problems or learning curve. **Recommendations to others considering PowerSchool SIS:** Innovative platform, easy to implement the learning curve is quite acceptable for this type of platform, I recommend its implementation. **What problems is PowerSchool SIS solving and how is that benefiting you?** Enhance performance and save money. Reduce time for entering and calculating grades manually. The way this initiative promotes parent engagement is another plus. By doing so, you promote student development to do their best, in the understanding that they are responsible not just for education, but also in the home. PowerSchool offers very cool pre-loaded and easy-to-use configuration.
