Dell PowerEdge R940 is an impressive machine. Whether you're a hardcore gamer, general writer, or just trying to work from home, it keeps up without missing a beat. Extremely easy to customize all of your settings and connections, and most add-ons are so intuitive, there's little to no struggle with anything new. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PowerEdge Rack Servers?

What problems is PowerEdge Rack Servers solving and how is that benefiting you?

Recommendations to others considering PowerEdge Rack Servers:

The best suggestion i can give anyone out there buying server hardware is do your research. When dell is selling 2 tb server grade SSD's for 1300 a piece when those exact ones can be purchased through other vendors for roughly 40 percent of the cost. Along with "Dell" memory which is just relabeled Crucial memory that can be again purchased at half if not more than half the cost that dell attempts to sell it at Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerhouse Server"

What do you like best about PowerEdge Rack Servers?

More efficient and speedy use of NVME based disks in a 3U server. Built in 10GBE nics are a huge plug and scalable server with with up to 4 sockets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PowerEdge Rack Servers?

iDRAC was a little confusing to set up, but once that was up and running there were no issues. Had a bit of a hard time mounting, but that may have been the fault of out current rack. The rail kit was fairly easy to work with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
