The developers are unable to do basic things such as an events calendar (which you can do in basic sharepoint), employee recognition, folders for policies, etc. The "training" they provide can only be described as laughable. Powell Manager is super easy to use, but also has an enormous number of features if you really want to dig into it. Our company relies on our intranet daily for many of their task and we have never had an outage.
