While these can be easily done with a SQL filter, this doesn't translate as readily to the insights when creating a graph. Also, The UI for traversing events is cumbersome and contains a lot of information. I'm not really a technical person, so I feel like I have to learn a lot more before I can understand the data and that kind of frustrates me. It's also is easy to use, the implementation is fas (just a classic snippet), even if you don’t have a lot of technical expertise. It's also easy to use; the UX seems intuitive. I also like its free tier, so I can try things out without worrying about receiving unexpected billing. In particular, I love the session replay feature for gathering user insights. I can check every few days to understand where users got stuck and understand their behaviour—a must-have to improve UX. Now, I use it every few days to have an overview of the metrics and/or to check the recordings. I haven't used customer support so far. **What do you dislike about PostHog?** I do not dislike anything so far, to be honest, just minor things. I just use some basic features without advanced stuff, like custom events, so it's hard to find problems. **What problems is PostHog solving and how is that benefiting you?** I'm trying it on a side project to test it and I'm fully convinced. Their dashboard is relatively easy to use, while being quite powerfull **What do you dislike about PostHog?** Some parts about how to use the SDKs (documentation) can be improved. I'm used to not committing a secret to a repository, so leaving my posthog key into the code felt weird. When I tried to make it optional, I had all sorts of problem, and the documentation wasn't very useful. Also, the analytics part of the dashboard is very powerful, but can be a bit overwhelming for new users **What problems is PostHog solving and how is that benefiting you?** Analytics are made very simple to implement, and managing feature flags or A/B testing is surprisingly easy ### 32. It provided solutions to all the initial challenges I faced when getting started, making the onboarding process smooth. **What do you dislike about PostHog?** The documentation could be clearer in some areas to improve the developer experience. A feature to delete groups directly from the PostHog dashboard would reduce friction and minimize the need to reach out to support. Increasing the number of groups would be a valuable enhancement. **What problems is PostHog solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are in the midst of launching our updated B2B website. The major issue with the previous version was the lack of analytics and no way to identify issues on an end-user's device. PostHog’s session replay and analytics have been invaluable in helping us debug user issues efficiently. Additionally, its seamless integration with Sentry makes it a one-stop dashboard for monitoring and troubleshooting. I’m confident that after our launch, PostHog will continue to provide valuable insights into user behavior and help us proactively address any challenges. ### 33. I think that can catered for in the self hosting (which I havent tried up until now), but **What problems is PostHog solving and how is that benefiting you?** A goto tool for having all the product analytics at a single place. From deciding which custom user activity you want to track and creating custom dahsboards out of it to helping the business people to make custom notebooks, share with the concerned people and managing the features which should be available to what users, this was a great addition to the existing platforms which we are using. ### 36. There are loads of features and everything is in super in depth and well thought out. **What do you dislike about PostHog?** Honestly, very little to complain about, maybe some of the stuff to do with experiments is a bit complex to understand when using it for the first time - stuff to do with statistics etc, but I guess that isn't really a limitation of posthog, more of just an education. **What problems is PostHog solving and how is that benefiting you?** Seeing where users get confused, tracking conversions, doing ab test. Because sometimes I face loading issues. Not every time will this issue happen.
