What do you like best about Postcoder?

What do you like best about Postcoder?

We tried a number of different address lookup services before deciding to go with Postcoder.

Not only did we receive the most accurate address and location data from postcoder, but the help we received from the support team (especially Kit) and the easy to navigate admin portal made it an easy decision.

The API is fast to respond to requests. We haven't had any issues since switching to Postcoder Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Postcoder?

If I had to point out a downside, it would be that we didn't have enough credits to for our testing, so we had to request more. However the support team was quick to fix this issue for us Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Postcoder?

Works well, response is fast and in at least 5 years of use I think there has only been 1 issue which prevented postcode lookups from the service.

UI is clear and easy to use, and recently been improved.

There is also an api endpoint which you can connect your moniotoring system to so you can track remaining credits along with your other key system metrics.

Lots of extra info like latitude, longtittude, udprn, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Postcoder?

1. The json endpoint for monitoring required contacting suport to find out about, after an incident when we ran out of credits. Docs have been updated, it's part of the /status request.

2. When you need to change payment method you have to purchase a new pack and set it up as auto top up, and then delete the original auto top package - rather than just being able to update you card details.

3. Not sure if there is a caching mechanism meaning that if you are not proactive a single user, or bad bit of code, can burn your credits down quite a bit on the same lookup.

4. Some postcodes have more addresses than the max response, another little gotcha. Be sure to check for the paging key which only appears when this is the case! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Postcoder?

The most important reason to use any address, bank or email checking service is it's reliability in giving you the correct answer. We have found Postcoderweb to be the gold standrad for this.

We needed to integrate Postcoderweb and othere APIs into our Oracle Apex based product (verify-it.co.uk) and found that Postcoderweb made that easy for us to do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Certain datasets like the Eircode directory have limitations as to their trial usage that limits the amount of time development teams can have to integrate and test. What do you like best about Postcoder?

Had really good customer support. After starting the trial I was contacted to understand our use case but was not pushed for a sale. We didn't need any support as the API documentation was sufficiently detailed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Postcoder?

Very easy to integrate. I intitally used Postcoder for an internal system to speed up address entry. We also use it on our customer service website for service requests. Customer service is great and since its been set up its worked flawlessly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
