Not charged for invalid lookup. Sales people are not pushy and are to the point with pricing options etc. Sales happy to be handled over email instead of phone calls. **What do you dislike about Postcoder?** Having to set up identifiers when providing the software for third parties is something we run into often. Doing this in the portal is easy enough, but it’s still tedious. It can be done through a CSV, which is nice, but I think an API link would work well too. For example, if we made a request with an identifier that doesn’t exist, we could get a response that lets us follow up with the identifier and the required details. That would make it easier to automate identifier setup when we onboard a new client. **What problems is Postcoder solving and how is that benefiting you?** We let our customers enter a postcode and then choose from a dropdown list of possible addresses. The trial allowed us to do early testing and run it in production to ensure everything worked as expected before seamlessly switching from the trial to the paid plan. **What do you dislike about Postcoder?** The biggest one for us right now is having to identify third party customers using Postcoder to do with their Royal Mail licensing solution. There's no API for us to sync our customer data with our customer data that needs to be in Postcoder. UI is clear and easy to use, and recently been improved. There is also an api endpoint which you can connect your moniotoring system to so you can track remaining credits along with your other key system metrics. Lots of extra info like latitude, longtittude, udprn, etc. **What do you dislike about Postcoder?** 1. The json endpoint for monitoring required contacting suport to find out about, after an incident when we ran out of credits. Docs have been updated, it's part of the /status request. 2. When you need to change payment method you have to purchase a new pack and set it up as auto top up, and then delete the original auto top package - rather than just being able to update you card details. 3. Not sure if there is a caching mechanism meaning that if you are not proactive a single user, or bad bit of code, can burn your credits down quite a bit on the same lookup. 4. Some postcodes have more addresses than the max response, another little gotcha. The postcodes lists are regularly updated so we have little negative customer feedback on missing addresses. **What do you dislike about Postcoder?** I only deal directly with Postcoder when something goes wrong, and nothing much does so nothing to write here. Postcode look-ups delievered via APi so very little interaction. **What problems is Postcoder solving and how is that benefiting you?** Makes the customer experience easy and quick, which means fewer customer issues and orders processed promptly.
