If you wanted to ship a shirt in multiple sizes you have to create multiple shipments. Also when you want to ship multiple things once you shipped one it would take you back to the homepage and you would have to navigate back to my swag. Being able to send gifts to a group via email or shared link is helpful, as is the customization available when sending. I particularly like the must schedule to accept gift option! I would consider traveling cross-country to hand-deliver a gift before reconsidering Postal; it would be more cost-efficient. From sparse marketplace offerings to clunky user interfaces, and most frustratingly, horrendous customer service, the only "gift" Postal successfully delivered was disappointment. **What problems is Postal by Sendoso solving and how is that benefiting you?** I would not call Postal unique in their solutions to any problems - I suppose if I had to give one, it would be sending gifts to people you don't have an address for. **Official Response from Amy Schwartz:** > I'm sorry that you weren't satisfied with your experience. When I"m not sure what to send, I can scroll postal for ideas and even recommendations on what to send. Their support team is super responsive and helpful, and will even reach out and be proactive when something goes wrong. **What do you dislike about Postal by Sendoso?** The feature set in terms of sending gift cards, and bulk orders is a little lacking. It's difficult to report on bulk warehouse sends to customers, which can cause some confusion. For example, the sales team might need access to send out smaller items which CS would want a wider variety of personalized gifts reflective of the account size. So far it seems we all have to work from the same selection. My account manager has been very responsive as well. **What do you dislike about Postal by Sendoso?** The software still has some bugs - we have had a few issues that we've brought up to them. In one case, there was some type of bot that hit a link and it was able to redeem 90 extra gift cards. Since it was due to a bug, they did refund us that money (which was great), but it was difficult while it was happening since no one could figure out why. The Brand store (for employees) doesn't allow us to use actual shipping costs or maximum order quantities, which would make it a lot easier to use. The warehouse can be slow and has had some issues, but they are actively working on improving it. **What problems is Postal by Sendoso solving and how is that benefiting you?** Ability to send both customer gifts and employee incentives, as well as an employee company store. ### 28. We use the swag concierge, Paper Plane, for events, customers, and employees, by ordering branded note books, clothing, pens. We also use the marketplace gifting to reward prospects with gifts, and to fulfill our raffle prizes at industry events, etc. We have also used their events capability, which really streamlined virtual happy hours and networking events, because we could easily browse and select any event, and upload a CSV, and track shipping within the platform. The entire postal team is always very helpful, and provides great options! We compared Postal with other gifting companies and found that Postal was a better fit for our gifting budget. **What do you dislike about Postal by Sendoso?** Currently, some the filter options are a bit clunky. To search for a gift that can be shipped across multiple geographies (e.g. US and UK) you have to individually search for gifts that ship to the US, then search to see gifts that are available to ship to the UK for comparison. Often you can find one gift that is available to ship to both the US and UK, but it can get tricky if you need to also ship to a third country (e.g. India). The usability and functionality is there, it's just a bit clunky. **What problems is Postal by Sendoso solving and how is that benefiting you?** Postal helps us move prospects down the funnel—by opening the door or continuing the conversation. We no longer have to spend hours researching swag options to become experts in a certain category of branded swag—instead we can describe our use case and requirements, and the Paper Plane team will provide a handful of options within a day or two. The Paper Plane team also interfacing with the vendors for us, so all we have to do is share our logo and address, and our rep takes care of all the logistics. Similarly, for direct mail gifting Postal has automated the address verification, which has saved us a lot of headaches. Often, recipients can be hesistant to share their addresses via email, however they're much more likely to enter their address into Postal, where they know their address will be safe. And we know that their address is accurate with the address verification feature. ### 33. The ability to create customized products and have warehousing is also nice. The Support team is very helpful! **What do you dislike about Postal by Sendoso?** Magiclinks are not the best when the use case is sending out a gift to thousands of people at once, because recipients can abuse it and redeem multiple times. The only way to prevent this is to turn on "approvals" for the magiclink, which creates a huge administrative burden for us to approve each redemption request. Would be best if we could generate unique links for each person.
