We havent addressed the hurdles of wifi security in out enviornment for some time, its been on our radar for quite a while and then we became aware of Portnox and how much better it is over say a Cisco ICE product. It allows us to better secure and segment our wifi networks, we have a lot of IOT out there and this tool has allowed us to split that away from our corporate network seemlessly. Devices which do not meet patch requirements or are missing software (EG AV/ Siem etc) do not get permitted to access the LAN, instead they are assinged to an internet-only network allowing remediation but not access to resources.
