## About Portnox
Portnox is a cloud-native access control platform that helps organizations secure network, application, and infrastructure access for human and non-human identities. The platform brings together network access control (NAC), cloud RADIUS, passwordless authentication, Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), and TACACS+ capabilities to help IT and security teams verify users, devices, and connection risk before and after access is granted. Portnox is designed for distributed organizations that need to manage access across employees, contractors, service accounts, managed devices, unmanaged devices, IoT, network infrastructure, SaaS applications, and private applications. The platform helps reduce reliance on on-premises appliances, legacy VPNs, and fragmented access tools by centralizing access policy enforcement from a single cloud-native policy engine. With Portnox, organizations can: - Discover and assess users, devices, and identities connecting to corporate resources - Enforce risk-based access policies across networks, applications, and infrastructure - Support passwordless authentication, device posture checks, and continuous access enforcement - Control administrative access to routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices - Improve audit readiness with visibility, access logs, and policy-based compliance controls Portnox NAC provides cloud-native network access control using cloud RADIUS to help teams identify devices on the network, evaluate device posture, and enforce access policies without deploying additional hardware appliances. Portnox ZTNA provides identity- and posture-aware access to SaaS and private applications. It helps organizations replace broad VPN access with more granular controls that verify each user, device, and session before allowing access. Portnox TACACS+ provides cloud-native command authorization and network device administration. It helps teams manage who can access critical infrastructure, what commands they can run, and how administrative activity is logged for compliance and audit purposes. Portnox is used by organizations that need scalable access control, Zero Trust enforcement, device visibility, passwordless access, and compliance support across modern hybrid environments.
