portea brings the gatehouse and the administration of a residential complex into one app, built for property managers, boards and residents in Colombia and Mexico. Residents authorize visitors in advance with QR codes and answer the intercom from their phone, without calls to the gatehouse. Packages and deliveries are logged with a photo and the resident is notified automatically. Every access is recorded, with a digital gatehouse log that replaces the paper notebook. For the property manager, portea adds a web panel with access reports, announcements with read receipts, requests with follow-up, common-area bookings with rules, and a financial module to collect dues online, with the money going straight to the complex's account. Assemblies keep verifiable records. portea works with the access control hardware the complex already has and can also install new equipment such as video intercoms, readers, barriers and gates through an installation partner. Biometrics are optional and always offer an alternative access method. Optional Arturo AI is an AI-powered gatehouse service that answers the intercom 24/7, announces each visitor to the resident and opens only with the resident's authorization. Arturo AI handles the gatehouse only; security guarding in Colombia is provided by companies licensed by the Superintendencia de Vigilancia.
