The user interface (UI) is well-designed to provide a sense of familiarity, making it easy to use. The aesthetics alone pulled me in, but all the overwhelming useful features and even the obvious features every SQL IDE should have are all so well done.

My favorite experience with PopSQL was taking a fast query to validate assumptions overheard during meetings and slinging out a graph with a link to it for discussion.

I also use it for rapid prototyping reports for my team to help them visual my needs more quickly.

Lastly, I love being able to spot holes in our data governance with it as new tables are born from features being built. Very simple for me to drop in and classify new eventing or understand capabilities more quickly.

It's rough once you start slamming into those paywalls, especially as a solo user. I'm honestly not trying to be overly in love here, but be ready to be disappointed when that free trial runs out unless you're prepared to roll out the team on this and you have your corporate credit card in hand. PopSQL combines a simple and beautiful User Interface with great functionality to help promote access to data within early stage businesses. Its simple charting tool, makes it easy to whip up a dashboard, whilst its data catalog is a neat solution for documentation. One of the standout features of PopSQL is its user-friendly approach to query sharing. With the option to easily share queries via links or team folders, collaboration is made simple and efficient. Additionally, the ability to run multiple queries concurrently in the same tab is a great time-saving feature. Another strength of PopSQL is the ability to quickly create charts and graphs. The search functionality also facilitates efficient data/queries discovery, while the version history feature is could be very helpful for tracking changes to queries in some cases. Although PopSQL offers the option to export CSV files, it lacks the ability to directly export query results to Google Sheets, it can be overcome in different ways but its not the best user experience. Additionally, the search functionality has some room for improvement to make it more effective and user-friendly (the ability to search specific columns in schemas). Darmode, Auto-Save, folders, sharing, chart tool, query schedulnig all of these make the PopSQL a very comfortable tool to use when querying bigQuery and collaborating with the team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I found table search, column search, and auto-complete still not functioning as I would expect.

Mainly the interface i like the most best it is user friendly to write the query and executing it's so easy to understand and whenever I'm writing the syntax if i Miss anything wrong on that time it was highlighting that error and so it is one best for me to use without any distractions. Great data tool for anyone. Working with multiple DBs is simple, great Charts directly from a simple couple of clicks. Once we had a specific issue, the customer service contact was excelent and worked directly with their development team to fix the problem.
