I like the centralized, legal-focused platform that Poppy Legal provides. It intakes, processes, and offers automatic data and reporting for legal spend. This setup makes it easy for me to know our total legal spend from acquisitions counsel on similar transactions, which helps in projecting future expenses. I can't easily delete or merge duplicate invoices. Unfortunately, it happens a lot, especially when our accounting team hasn't paid the original invoice, as previously approved by me, quickly enough. So within Poppy Legal, instead of maybe one step, like selecting all redundant invoices by check boxes and clicking 'delete,' I have to go through 3-4 steps, and then the platform kicks me back to the dashboard. So, I'd then have to take 3-4 steps to navigate back to that law firm's various invoices. It should be a 1-minute process and ends up taking 45 minutes to an hour. Also, Firm A changed their form invoice, and now their firm name looks a little different. So Poppy filed their new invoices under a brand new vendor/law firm, and if there is a way to merge the Law firm A (with the original 8 invoices) with Law firm A (with the new invoices) in Poppy's system, I can't figure it out. It has automated workflows that used to take a considerable amount of time to complete. It gives us greater insight into our legal spend and has highlighted outside counsel practices that need to be monitored more closely. Customer support is always prompt and professional.

Poppy listens to customer feedback and, when possible, adds features, lets us know when something is already on the roadmap, or shares how we can get the output we need. It has made reporting easier to share cross-functionally. The user interface is incredibly easy to navigate, and it integrates easily into our workflows, cutting down on numerous emails and spreadsheet tracking.

It immediately paid for itself through the billing review for a single matter. The AI summaries are accurate and easy to follow, and it consistently routes invoices to the correct approvers. Unlike other AI tools, it’s performance is predictable, consistent, and efficient. Bottom line, Poppy Legal and the team behind it always deliver without disappointment.
