Linux distros have a terrible tendency to hang or crash when using dual monitors, and Pop os is just one of them; with a few workarounds, it works but still crashes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best Linux distribution as a daily driver"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Pop!_OS?

We have countless Linux distributions available; what makes Pop!_OS stand out is the "Out-Of-The-Box" experience it provides. Pop!_OS is a general use operating system that suits every user's need. If you are shifting from commercial Operating Systems like Windows or Mac OS, this open-source operating system would provide you with the best welcome experience with ease of installation and set up to being completely familiar with the whole operating system.

The Gnome desktop provides user with a friendly user interface, and the customizations of Pop!_OS makes the Gnome more lively. During installation, it also supports full disk encryption, which provides data integrity and security out of the box. Moreover, since new laptops come with a hybrid graphics setup, Pop!_OS comes with full support and graphics switching. The setup contains the Nvidia Drivers out of the box for a seamless installation experience.

All of these features make Pop!_OS the ideal Linux operating system for all needs, be it be gaming, development, productivity, or anything else. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pop!_OS?

Pop!_OS is an amazing linux distribution. However, I personally feel like the default themes are a little bit dull and monotonic. You can always install new Gnome themes from internet, but the default out-of-the-box, vanilla feel is a little dull with muted orange shade accent color, which we can not change (unless using third party extensions.) "Solid OS Distro"
4/5
What do you like best about Pop!_OS?

It feels very lightweight, and with the latest version update to the shell, it feels like it has the majority of customizations needed to both be functional and aesthetically pleasing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pop!_OS?

Being Linux, it's still kludgy to get some basics working. Software installations are much more smooth than other distros, but still not as easy as Windows. Software availability and compatibility as a desktop OS is still a concern for mainstream desktop users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
