Yes you are right, currently reminders can be set not for a specific date rather they are based on hours/mins/days/weeks. What is available though (more like a one off thing) is to send a reminder by going into Controls of the polly in the dashboard.

For now, I'm going to add this as part of the product feedback channel so the product folks can explore this feature further 🙏

Regarding your comment about editing, voters can edit their vote till the time the polly is open. Just click on the option you voted earlier and it will remove the vote (in case you can vote once only). If you are allowed multiple votes then you can click on multiple options and your vote will continue to register.

However once a polly is closed then it means that the author is accepting no more votes so then you won't be able to make any changes to your responses (unless the author re-opens the polly again). Hope this helps.
