"An awesome way to stay connected in a remote environment"

What do you like best about Polly?

I've only met some of my teammates in person a couple of times in the last 10 months...and some I haven't met at all since we do not live in the same state. Polly has allowed us to get to know each other better and continue to build an open and inclusive environment through the Hot Takes feature. We can use these as ice breakers, times to take a break during the day (because let's be honest, people are taking fewer breaks during remote work), fun ways to interact with the team/get to know each other better, and strengthen our team's morale. What do you dislike about Polly?

More "Hot Takes" please :) Our team really loves these and uses them to start fun discussions and conversations. We've run out of Hot Takes and now we use the Polly Poll function to create our own...which takes longer so we use this feature less :(

Recommendations to others considering Polly:

If you use Polly in Slack, it's not easily discoverable, so you should make sure to encourage users to take advantage of it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Polly solving and how is that benefiting you?

Our leadership team uses Polly to collect feedback from the team after all-hands meetings to understand which parts of the meetings were most valuable and how we can continue to improve these really expensive meetings/use our time wisely. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Thanks for the review 🙏 Happy to hear that Polly's native integration with MS Teams is helping you with instant responses from multiple people.

On the results visibility, it is completely in your control. Everyone can see them in realtime, not see them or see them after the polly closes. As the author you get to decide the setting you want to keep. Hope this helps!

What do you like best about Polly?

Since we are using Slack daily, I love that it can be connected with Slack and used so effortlesly. I love the quiz options and the pulse check-ins are great. The fact that I can download all the results and have a spreadsheet overview is also awesome. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Polly?

Since the Polly quiz is so popular, I would love to have more templates for that. Also, I love the pulse questions but would be also great if they would be updated from time to time. It is not something I dislike but atm I am adding my questions in addition to Polly default ones. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Polly solving and how is that benefiting you?

Team engagement for sure. Since hybrid work is here to stay - it is so important to check in with teams when they are mostly working from home. I also love that we can engage with employees on different topics - daily check, weekly check, fun play time and also feedbacks from trainings or upcoming meetings. What do you like best about Polly?

I used the Slack integration of Polly. I liked that it had all the features needed for creating and running a poll, while integrating seamlessly into Slack. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Polly?

If the poll wasn't answered by everyone then a reminder needed to be sent. Fortunately, there is a reminder feature, but perhaps an automated reminder could also be added (for example, automatically sends a reminder to any unanswered pollees if there's only 1 day left on the poll). What problems is Polly solving and how is that benefiting you?

Even amongst a few people, it can take a number of messages to choose between dates for a meeting, or a theme for a meeting. Polly allows all the options to be visible at once (and even gives the options of adding further selections). It's also helpful to see which options may have received votes while in mid-poll.

For example, if you are choosing a meeting date, have to select just 1 option, and are personally available on Tuesday and Thursday, if you see that Tuesday and Wednesday have accrued votes in the poll, you would vote Tuesday. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Thanks for the review & the feedback around reminders 🙏

The great news is that we do have this functionality available 🎉 The way reminders work is when the polly is sent in a channel, the reminder will be sent automatically in the channel. If it is sent as DM, the reminder will only go out automatically to those who haven't responded. You only need to schedule the reminder as part of your Polly creation and it will go out automatically. If you forgot to add it as part of creation, you can always Edit the polly & add reminders.

You can also send a one off reminder through /polly remind command in Slack.

"Just what I had hoped to find"

What do you like best about Polly?

The interface for Polly was so intuitive and easy to set up that I had it integrated with Slack and had my first survey ready to go in literally a few minutes. It gave me exactly what I expected to see in preparing the survey questions (the NPS-specific question in particular), and the design anticipated where I would need to have an option for comments. Really, I'm super pleased to have found it and will look for more opportunities to use it internally. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Polly?

This might be a niche need, but since I work with a team in a different time zone and had scheduled the sending of a Polly, I wanted to be sure of the time zone in which I was scheduling it to send. In the end, I assumed it was my own time zone in N. America. Also, I had a mild hope to embed a "learn more" link to text in a question so readers could access more context for the question if they wanted, but that is probably superfluous.
