I've used other polling platforms in the past, and Poll Everywhere just offers the best variety of question types that I've seen, and is also extremely user friendly! I was able to figure out how to use it within a few minutes of teaching my first class - it's so easy! **What do you dislike about Poll Everywhere?** My only complaint about Poll Everywhere is that the setting for automatic unlock/lock of poll questions can only unlock and lock questions for 5 minute intervals - For example, I can't set a question to automatically unlock at 1:57 pm, only at 1:55 pm or 2 pm. **Recommendations to others considering Poll Everywhere:** Definitely consider Poll Everywhere if you need an interactive platform for classes! **What problems is Poll Everywhere solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use Poll Everywhere primarily to take attendance for a class I teach. ### 12. I appreciate being able to use a variety of different question formats (e.g., multiple choice, short answer, word cloud). Moreover, their plug-in to use with powerpoint is very helpful. I love that polls can be completed both via text and online. I use this product mostly as an educational tool. I teach in higher education and I have found this to be useful and mostly easy to use to poll students quickly to determine their understanding of class concepts. Students have given me the feedback that they think it is fun to do polls in class and find it easy to do them on their phone via text message rather than needing to purchase clickers. **What do you dislike about Poll Everywhere?** The basic free version of Poll Everywhere is limited, especially in regard to the number people that can respond to the poll in real-time. Additionally, the plug-in for power-point can be buggy and result in your poll information displayed being cut off or not updating in real-time. I suggest pay for the full version if you want to use it with larger groups or access to more features. **Recommendations to others considering Poll Everywhere:** The free version is good if you looking to poll groups less than 40. Most of the audience for our many meetings (who happen to be the employees of the company) have used twitter, are aware of its functioning and find it relatively easy to access. The fact that they do not have to install a new application to vote is something I have heard often. **What do you dislike about Poll Everywhere?** SMS as a means of voting. It definitely looks like a lot of people are on paid SMS plans and they are not comfortable using this means as it affects their mobile related finances quite significantly. We vote on a number of things during each meeting. For instance, the user experience team meets to decide course of action on a workflow. **Recommendations to others considering Poll Everywhere:** I would recommend the product for sure. I think there are benefits in terms of how it exploits other existing mediums to deliver a good experience - especially mobile.
