What I like most about POK – Proof of Knowledge – is that they offer real and secure digital credentials using blockchain technology. They are not empty promises.

The user owns their credentials: they are stored in their wallet, not in an account provided by the platform.

It complies with all international standards. It does not charge for using the platform, there are no hidden costs or subscriptions.

It works with many educational systems, thanks to its open integrations.

It is safe and reliable: it uses public blockchain so that the data is verifiable and permanent.

Limited visibility outside of Latin America: It is not yet as well-known globally as other similar platforms.

Lack of education on the subject: Many institutions do not fully understand what a credential as a real NFT on blockchain is. More educational material and clear examples are needed.

The team behind POK understands what it means to ensure learning. From the process of designing the learning paths, there is access to a platform that goes far beyond the surface, allowing an expert to propose complex training processes and progressively accredit them based on evidence. For now, we have only found one limitation: the editing of learning paths. Once you define a path, it is not possible to change it. It would be very useful to be able to edit at least the names, as it is very common for a badge to need updating or to correct typos. What I value most about POK is that it turns each credential into a permanent asset for the student. Unlike a PDF or a classic digital certificate, a POK credential lives on the blockchain, is inviolable, verifiable in seconds with a QR or link, and belongs to the student forever, even if the institution ceases to exist. For us, who work with universities, that completely changes the value we give to certification: it is no longer a piece of paper, it is a real digital asset. The main challenge is not in the platform but in the adoption of the ecosystem. As long as the labor market and companies do not actively demand or recognize blockchain credentials as a standard, universities have little incentive to implement them. The decision to issue depends more on the demand from the recipient than on the quality of the issuer. The POK interface is very clean and very intuitive, which I value a lot because it allows us to work more efficiently without wasting time trying to understand where the functions are; everything is quite straightforward. Additionally, no knowledge of blockchain or crypto is needed to issue certificates, which was especially appreciated since we were able to start issuing certificates almost immediately. The bulk data upload function also works very well, as you can issue a large number of certificates at once by uploading a file; being able to upload a list of hundreds of students and have the system process all the credentials in one step is a big change. I also enjoy the integration with our LMS to automate issuance upon course completion and the integration with LinkedIn, as this allows students to validate their skills and give visibility to our programs. I like the personalized branding of the landing page associated with the issuance of credentials. I also appreciate the tracking and usage indicators by the holder throughout the digital traceability, as not only is the credential issuance simple, but it also offers a lot of additional value by tracking the usage by the recipient. The user experience of the entire platform is very intuitive and easy to understand, which makes it easy to use all its features without making mistakes, as each feature is described step by step. I think the design part is the lowest point. I really don’t mind because I design the certificates on another platform and then just upload them to POK, but I think for someone wanting to design the certificate in POK it can be difficult.
