**What do you like best about POINT?**

Makes it so much to coordinate people's schedules, send events to people en masse to have them sign up, and track hours. Customer support is top notch -- I encounter random questions the more I use the software and they are able to help me very quickly. I've even suggested some features that they have then implemented! Customer support is absolutely their strenght.

**What do you dislike about POINT?**

I wish I could customize the automated emails sent to volunteers.

**What problems is POINT solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping me see all my events in one spot, allowing volunteers to self-schedule rather than relying on email back-and-forths with me, ease of tracking hours and seeing event history.

**What do you like best about POINT?**

POINT has put so much of our volunteer work in one location! Between event sign up and attendance management to online waivers, the efficiency has saved us a countless hours of management time. The mobile app for our volunteers is so simple and easy to use, we're seeing record setting registration times & overall participation!

**What do you dislike about POINT?**

While there is nothing we don't like, we are looking forward to new features currently on POINTs development plan and are thrilled at how responsive their customer service team has been to feature requests.

**What problems is POINT solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have used a collection of Google docs and drives for volunteer management for years. POINT has taken all of the documents, processes and points of contact and placed them in one very ease to use location for us.

**What do you like best about POINT?**

POINT not only balances the needs of a non profit to be able to reach out to the volunteering community but also provides volunteers with a best in class user experience through their web and mobile channels. Onboarding new volunteers is super quick and we find volunteers engaging and participating in events in no time. A volunteer myself POINT is one of the most frequent app on my phone. As an admin creating new community service events , setting up an event , approving hours etc , all super intuitive and efficient. The customer service we receive from the support team is responsive and always resolves any request we have in an expedited manner. 
For our organization which is a 100% volunteer run, POINT is critical in achieiving our mission.

**What do you dislike about POINT?**

Though the reporting in POINT is quite comprehensive, providing more self service capability to run customisable reports will be very helpful.

**What problems is POINT solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reaching out, engaging and retaining an active volunteer base who are able to support the orgnaisations mission. As we are a 100% volunteer run organisation , volunteers are our most valuable asset. With POINT we are able to provide them with a best in class experience which ensures that our operations run smoothly and efficiently

The personalized customer service I had with Jeni Rosales. She answered all my questions and even made a how-to-video for my volunteers.

**What do you dislike about POINT?**

Sometimes it's hard for volunteers to check in because they are off-site without access to a QR code. But Jeni made them able to self-check in :)

It's great that I can post an online application on our website, it makes the onboarding process much easier.

Point is excellent for allowing volunteers to sign up for our events, and check-in easily. The modern interface makes it easy for staff to set up events and assign them to the correct volunteer groups.

**What do you dislike about POINT?**

Point doesn't have every feature that we are looking for, but they are super responsive and always adding helpful new features.

The biggest problems solved by Point are allowing volunteers to sign up and check in to events, which allows seamless tracking of hours.

Our biggest problem was recruiting AND managing our volunteers. Recruiting means we have enough volunteers to serve our guests. Managing includes onboarding and reporting. To this point (at least three years), reporting is simple. Onboarding, on the other hand is beeing developed and refined.

**What do you like best about POINT?**

It is forward thinking, well designed, easy to use and has all the 21st century Web 3.0 and App based features you want in a modern Volunteer Management System. It was incredibly easy to set up. Integrates perfectly with our website and offered a plethora of features on the free plan, making it easy for smaller organizations to try. The few times I've had to contact customer service they have responded quickly and thoroughly and the online customer self-service support is excellent and well written. I use Point daily and it has become an essential tool for our Volunteer Management.

**What do you dislike about POINT?**

Honestly, I haven't found any features I don't like yet. It is leages better than anything else I've seen. It is a new generation of product and handily solves a lot of the challenges of the older systems I've encountered.

Listing opportunities easily on our website. Recruiting and communicating with Volunteers. Hosting private opportunities for Volunteers and groups.

**What do you like best about POINT?**

Our organization loves Point! It is easy to use, helps us to recruit volunteers, and seamlessly track their contributions. Many of the features are intuitive and I have been able to train myself just by looking around a little bit. The best part about it might actually be the customer support. Jeni is available to help anytime we have a question! Thank you for providing us with this amazing resource!

**What do you dislike about POINT?**

When Point made updates recently, our administrators were inundated with notifications about programs they are not a part of within the umbrella of our organization. This would be solved if administrators could only be a part of specific programs instead of the entire organization. Maybe this function already exists and I just don't know about it.

Point is making it easy to track volunteer data. This is crucial to our organization. We need the data to receive funds to continue fulfilling our mission.

**What do you like best about POINT?**

Where do I begin? We moved over to POINT from SignUpGenius, and the improvement in our processes has been HUGE. It used to take me so long to make a single volunteer signup through our old system, so I ended up dreading the process of recruiting volunteers. We need volunteers in order for our nonprofit to function, so I researched different platforms and kept seeing that POINT came highly recommended. I started with a free trial, loved what I was seeing, and quickly committed to a paid plan. We are so glad we switched over! It's made the volunteer management process fun again. The features are easy to use, and the customer support has been phenomenal. Jeni Rosales has been so helpful in getting us started. She's patient, responsive, and a true joy to interact with. We appreciate everything POINT has to offer, from the product itself to the people behind the scenes. Thank you!

**What do you dislike about POINT?**

The only thing I wish POINT had was the ability to sign up for multiple recurring event dates at once, but I hear that's a soon-to-be feature! Our volunteers would love having the ability to do that.

**What problems is POINT solving and how is that benefiting you?**

POINT does all of the following for us:
- Reduces the time it takes for us to create an event signup
- Improves our volunteer management process since all data (hours, contact info, etc.) lives in one place
- Makes it enjoyable to spend time managing volunteers because the UX/UI design are phenomenal
- Frees me up to work on the other aspects of my job that don't involve managing volunteers!

**What do you like best about POINT?**

It is easy to set up, get going, and easily track our volunteers. Our staff have been able to get the system set up quickly and move our volunteer program to the system with ease. We also love the integrations, especially with Give Butter.

Our older volunteers have difficulty getting into the system, and it takes time to learn for volunteers who have never used a VMS before.

We have moved from a manual process that takes a lot of staff time to an automated process, the goal is to reduce time spent on tasks that can be automated.

POINT keeps me on track! I can make very atractive detailed posts for my volunteers to peruse.  I love the reminders to check-in my volunteers.

**What do you dislike about POINT?**

Sometimes the online Cht has been unavailable - but once you are up and running, I seldom have cause to call on them.

**What problems is POINT solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping track of all the events we have. Volunteers are able to sign-up themselves and receive reminders, saving me precious time. I am able to create monthly rosters very easily, giving my program team an accurate record of who is coming in to volunteer.

**What do you like best about POINT?**

We were in the market for a new volunteer management platform and had to transfer years worth of data from over 200 volunteers. POINT and their support team were here to help throughout the process and have been quick to answer questions and pull data when I needed it for reporting. The POINT app helps our events staff to quickly be able to check volunteer status before/during an event and the dashboard helps our volunteers who prefer to access on a computer rather than a phone. Overall a super great experience that I think will continue as the team continues to evolve and listen to organization needs!

- No waitlist feature
- No ability to keep past events on "most recent" rather than defaulting to sort by recommended

The customer service team was second to none; they were professional, friendly and extremely helpful!  POINT, as a whole, was very user-friendly and the CSV downloads made my life so much easier.  I was able to seamlessly facilitate/manage over 300 volunteers over a 4 day period.

**What do you dislike about POINT?**

We have a unique requirement that the app doesn't capture.  The POINT team is aware and working to try to come up with a solution.

- A interface to link directly to opportunites and certain programs to integrate easier.
- More options on recurring events (ie Every other Monday)

**What do you like best about POINT?**

The  customer service is amazing and personal. They follow up and follow through.
I like how many features are available to create groups, to have programs, create reports, edit volunteer hours, manually enter hours, have managed volunteers, and attach documents for volunteers to see.  I look forward to the return of a donation feature (even if it's an Amazon link wish list).

**What do you dislike about POINT?**

There is not a way for the volunteer to answer specific questions we have before joining our organization. I would love the ability to create a form that would then create tags or groups based on similar answers and then be able to reach out to those tags when I have a need. j
I also would like the ability to see the calendar view with ONLY the day's events showing when I click on a day. Instead, I see events that were created with multiple shifts even if there is no shift scheduled for that day. That makes the calendar view a useless feature. 
The final thing I dislike is not being able to create a recurring event and assign the same volunteer(s) to all the shifts easily. Instead, I have to open each date and assign the volunteer one at a time (or the volunteer has to with a provided link).

Volunteers have an app on their phone which makes it easier for them to sign in. Now I don't have to sign them in on my admin time.

Point has streamlined our process for tracking volunteer hours. It is easy to use on both the admin and user side. We are appreciative of the charts that allow users to track their hours as well.

The grouping can be labor intensive if done wrong.

Point has allowed us to track volunteer hours without the cumbersome amounts of paper. We are also able to assist students with downloading reports to submit as an artifact for college admissions.

The tools that POINT offers are consolidated within the administrative dashboard, making it a convenient and easy user interface. Customer service is also great.

**What do you dislike about POINT?**

I don't dislike 

A couple of wish-list items:

1. It would be nice to be able to have Admin capabilities in the POINT app
2. Display recurring events in a more consolidated so that they don't dominate the upcoming volunteer calendar. For example, Eco-Tots is all you see when you look at our events, however, there are other opportunities sprinkled in there.

Communications, event creation, and volunteer management are all consolidated.

**What do you like best about POINT?**

Point has been great for our nonprofit, giving us more flexibility than our last platform. The app and the website are immensely easy to navigate for volunteers of all ages, which helps us when encouraging all generations to get involved. In addition, the ability to set up groups, group volunteering, and check-ins has given us an all-in-one platform for our volunteering.

**What do you dislike about POINT?**

The only things that we have had issues with were emails and modifying events. Modifying events does have limitations and sometimes means you have to create an all new event to make a change you need. This is very very minimal and I feel like I am grasping at straws to find a negative if I am being honest.

**What problems is POINT solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They solved an issue we had with a prior service that required us to sign up as a church (which we are not). The user platform is also so much simpler and easier to navigate for our volunteers in POINT!

**What do you like best about POINT?**

POINT has made it easier for us to track where volunteers spend their time and how often they are on site. We have volunteers in a variety of capacities, and this has given us a consistent way to track their time. It also allows us to frame better how we export hours out of a time-tracking system for easier import into a CRM. The "check-in" feature for events has also been a game-changer! Now we can check people in rather than manually adding their time later.

**What do you dislike about POINT?**

There is a bit of a learning curve to the system, and we have many less technologically inclined volunteers who have struggled to figure out the sign-up process. However, even if they can't figure out how to sign up for an event, most have at least figured out how to add in hours for us to approve after the event has ended!

**What problems is POINT solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had been using a Google Form to track volunteer hours. While this was effective, it was incredibly clunky and time-consuming for volunteers and those who had to transfer that information into our CRM. POINT has saved us staff time now that we can export a report from POINT! In addition, it has allowed us to check volunteers in for events and track their time for them, rather than relying on them to enter it into the form later or having to add it in ourselves manually.

**What do you like best about POINT?**

I love how easy it is to understand, the tools are intuitive. Definitely the cleanest looking volunteer software I've seen. Plus, it is soooo easy for my volunteers. Also, the customer support is incredible - any question I've had has been answered very quickly and with excellent advice on my volunteer program.

**What do you dislike about POINT?**

I wish it was easier to print things, like my volunteer check-in sheet.

I needed a volunteer signup tool that was easy to use, could connect to our website, and had the management tools like track hours, events that volunteers attended, and my volunteer contact info. I was using like 3 different tools before POINT! 

We have one big event a year, and several smaller events throughout the year. It saves me sooooo much work to have everything in one place, and I can focus on more volunteer engagement instead of copying and pasting volunteer shifts and contact info from different places into one spreadsheet. Love, love, love that everything is in one place on POINT.

**What do you like best about POINT?**

POINT is the first formal volunteer management platform our team has utilized after engaging thousands of volunteers over the course of 12 years in our community work. What stood out to us is the clear, user-friendly components, the possibility of integration with our CRM (Kindful), the affordability (we chose to be pro members!), and the invitation to offer feedback that would impact the development of the platform in real time. What has kept us dedicated in the first year of use is the truly incredible, responsive support team, the amazing attention, and dedication that the POINT team has to work to help the platform fit our unique volunteer needs. We have spent so much time benefiting from their patience, careful attention, and seeing the real-life impact of the feedback we've offered lived out in updates to the platform.

**What do you dislike about POINT?**

Our biggest pain point right now is that many of our most involved corporate groups use their own internal volunteer platforms and the way we've found to most effectively enter their information retroactively is labor intensive and doesn't allow us to pull accurate reports- but we are working closely with the POINT team and feel confident we will soon have a better solution!

**What problems is POINT solving and how is that benefiting you?**

POINT is allowing us to offer consistent, professional, easy-to-access, and register opportunities for our volunteer communities. It captures volunteer information that we previously struggled to hold, and it invites volunteers to easily track their own contributions to our org and to other organizations that do work around causes they are passionate about.

**What do you like best about POINT?**

It's so helpful to have a spot to have both volunteer signups and my volunteer contact info in one place. We love using the reporting feature for our board meetings, to share our volunteer stats. We also love to use POINT for recruiting new people in Columbus.

**What do you dislike about POINT?**

Wish the check-in feature came on the free plan!

**What problems is POINT solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before POINT, we had volunteers logging their hours in a spreadsheet. Now volunteers can sign up for volunteer shifts and track their hours in one place. It's easy for volunteers to use since there's an app, and it's so nice having all of the info in one place.

**What do you like best about POINT?**

Oh there are so many different aspects of POINT that are absolutely Phenomenal.  The customer service was amazing,  I was so amazed at how fast I received a response from Brandy. Not to mention the relationship you have with POINT instructors is fun and personal. This software is easy ,especially if you have a hard time with tech like I do. I'm super excited to use this program!

**What do you dislike about POINT?**

Not a single thing I can think of! Other than me not having enough time in a day to get on their and learn and play around with.

**What problems is POINT solving and how is that benefiting you?**

POINT is helping with all areas of volunteers,         
POINT is helping with keeping up with service hours as to before I am doing it on paper and counting them with calculator. POINT is helping in more ways then I can explain.

It is very user friendly and intuitive. The team is quick to help with any issues I might have.

**What do you dislike about POINT?**

Individuals cannot sign up for more than one spot.  Some parents do not want to register their children.

**What problems is POINT solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have had a few issues over the last two years when using POINT.  Their support staff have quickly responded and fixed each issue.  One example was a reporting error they corrected and even before it was corrected, they sent me the properly configured report.

**What do you like best about POINT?**

I really like that I can integrate the app to my website. It allows me to not worry so much about calling to see if volunteers are available to help.

**What do you dislike about POINT?**

It isn't much of a dislike, whereas it's more of a learning curve for us. It's still a new app, so my team and I are still learning how to operate it.

**What problems is POINT solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Point is solving an instant way to connect with old and new volunteers, quicker.

POINT is easy-to-use, allows unlimited Admins, Events and Volunteers, pricing is simple and consistent pricing and REAL people to support us. Saves us a ton of time!

**What do you dislike about POINT?**

There are some tweaks we'd like to see (outlook calendar download, auto publish events at a later date, remote option for in-person events and all -day events.

**What problems is POINT solving and how is that benefiting you?**

POINT saves us the back-and-forth emails to sign volunteers up, confirm with volunteers, send reminders & calendar invites.

POINT is wonderful in how it is so supportive of their clients, I always feel heard by our representative! POINT is willing to make changes to their site that better accommodate the needs of our organization.

**What do you dislike about POINT?**

The way to manually upload volunteer hours through the profile is far too complicated for many users.

**What problems is POINT solving and how is that benefiting you?**

POINT helps us with volunteer management and sign up, it helps our organization to collect data on our 16 different garden sites (programs) to provide our volunteer leaders with great information.

There are always more things and subtle changes that would improve my user experience as a non-profit admin, but Point is continually making updates.

Point makes it easy for me to post volunteer opportunities, simple for volunteers to sign up, and allows me to track volunteer stats.
