What do you like best about PMG Platform?

workflows hands down. powershell integration especially. APIs and Functions are great too. workflow logging is also fantastic Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PMG Platform?

UI development. I still feel like it's a struggle to display what I want to display

Forms can do alot but it takes a lot of time learning the quirks and hacks to get it to do what you want.

What do you like best about PMG Platform?

The best aspects are use of visual, drag and drop actions to create workflows. Another great selling point is the rapid response from PMG company for new features and tweaks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PMG Platform?

Due to the pace of enhancement sometimes the Help lags behind the new features and this has been a bit of a friction point in expanding our PMG usage. The "customer" UI doesn't really meet our needs and we find we write full UI's in standard code platform (GCP, PCF, Node, etc.) then use PMG for the "engine" behind the actions that the user can initiate from that UI. I wish we got more value from the app side of PMG. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is PMG Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?

Operationalizing repetitive IT tasks that used to take multiple teams with data handoffs along the way and simplifying down to workflows with a clear visual path. Putting control into our server owners' hands for patching activity by using PMG as a gateway to functionality performed in other deployment systems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Thank you for the feedback! In the 2019 Q4 release, we made big improvements in the online help content. You will find that in the upcoming 2020 Q1 release, we've also revamped the online help again to make it easier to consume and find what you're looking for. As for the UI, our updates to App Designer last year have allowed customers to quickly create great user experiences with little code.
