I've used my fair share of task management systems and something about Plutio is the most charming to me. I love using Plutio because I initially got it for the right price I was looking for. I didn't want to shell out monthly fees and have a big overhead for things like Monday or TeamWork. So I found Plutio on accident and ended up fully integrating it. Plutio has a clean interface with easy to use tools and controls and because of that it makes it an ideal Task Management that has online, mobile, and desktop integration. There are some problems dealing with the integration of the various titles and phrases from within the system. I have multiple templates set up and installed in order to make my job easier but the first month of me using it was filled with distress when I realized I was making templates for new clients and they had to be converted to regular or repeatable templates. Recommendations to others considering Plutio: Visualize then attack. If you are using a time management software it's because you want things to flow better. So make a flowchart of how you want things to go in paint or something and then adopt those flows into your system. I admittedly don't have a large organization and so my usage of Plutio may not be as complete as other companies. We use it to keep track of projects and tasks among three people working across the US. There are many things that I like a lot about Plutio but if I had to choose one thing that I like best, it would not be anything to do with the actual software. It's the fact that the founder and developer makes himself completely available and transparent to the users of Plutio, so much so that every time I've reached out via the chat box on the site I've received an answer within a minute or two - from him and not a representative. He also is very active on the Plutio Facebook group where people post questions and recommendations. He is constantly answering questions and posting updates to the software. If I'm going to use a tool to help manage my company, I like knowing that I can have access to the person working on it so I'm aware of where the software is going. And he's just a super nice guy. There may be ways to customize it (in fact I'm sure there are) although I don't really have the time to figure it out. Its a little bland looking. I think its done like that on purpose as the idea is to allow users to customize the look of it to match their company colors, but even just the general overall interface is a little lackluster. I'm sure there are platforms that offer far more but for a small organization like mine, it is perfect. Definitely shop around as your situation may be different, but if you want a platform where you get an incredible feature set, updates every few days practically and a developer that you can speak with directly and will take your input and implement it - the Plutio definitely deserves a look. Each project has its own Kanban board for project task management, but there is no Kanban for managing all tasks, just list and timeline/Gantt views. • Rudimentary CRM, but I think they plan to build it out. • I'm having a problem with the custom domain feature but they are helping me resolve it. I wish it had native integration with G Suite. It integrates with Google Calendar, but native integration with... • Gmail • Google Tasks • Google Keep • G Drive • Google Sheets • Google Docs ...would make Plutio indispensable for many G Suite freelancers who currently have to put together a bunch of apps designed for teams. Integration with FullContact and Zapier are in the works for integration with other apps regarding people and tasks. I see some reviewers complain about price, but relative to the beautiful feature set, it seems to me Plutio is the best value for the money—don't be penny wise and pound foolish when it comes to choosing a tool to build out your dreams. Plutio is a comprehensive software that allows users to send proposals, manage projects, tasks, time-track activities and invoice projects from one unified interface. What do you dislike about Plutio? The UI is a little too basic. It would be nice if Plutio had more templates. In addition, the tool lacks complete customization when it comes to the look and feel of invoices. In addition, it would also be nice if the tool had better integrations. Definitely try the tool over a trial period and evaluate whether it really fits in with your business before making a commitment to transition out of your existing softwares.
