Pluss is a resident app and community platform for retirement villages, land lease communities and residential aged care homes in Australia and New Zealand. Each operator's app carries its own logo, colours and app name. Residents and families use the Pluss app on their phones. Staff post from Community Manager on a computer or their phone. Operators with several communities use Pluss HQ to publish to every community and see engagement across their portfolio. What Pluss does: - News and alerts: staff post once to the app and the community TVs. An urgent alert shows on the resident's lock screen. - Events and bookings: residents book and pay in the app. When an event changes, staff send one alert to everyone booked. - Food ordering: residents choose their meals for the week and book family in. The kitchen sees live counts. - Maintenance requests: residents log requests in the app. Staff track each job until it is resolved. - Move-ins and resales: each move-in and resale runs in one record, with an owner, tasks and due dates for every step. - HELF for aged care: residents choose and sign for higher everyday living fee extras in the app. Staff mark each service delivered. - Pluss AI drafts news and events. Nothing goes live until a staff member approves it. 148 communities use Pluss, and more than 30,000 people use the app. Across 21 communities, a median of 79.6% of residents are active in the app every month. Operators using Pluss include Aveo, GemLife, Metlifecare, Anglicare, Ozcare, Bolton Clarke and TriCare. Pluss is ISO27001:2022 certified, with data hosted in Australia. Pluss won the Consumer Experience category of the 2023 Future of Ageing Awards.
