**What do you like best about Pluralsight?**

It measures you on your skill post completing the course you can take tests and that helps me to know where I stand and how much more I need to know to clear interviews

I wanted to learn on the physical hosts everything how to set up and how to maintain but i dont find much info on it .I know they are old tech but still people use it . Still the courses that we already have are very very good and i am happy learning on it

**What problems is Pluralsight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is enhancing my skills . Once i take the Skill IQ test i will know who fit I am for the growing market. I am becoming more productive and i can solve issues easier now .

Access to relevant courses and assessments. The learning paths are great also. Our eng teams were using it both to refresh existing skills, but learn new things as well. Customer support and the setup were immensely appreciated.

For us, the cost was slightly prohibitive given the size of our eng teams.

Pluralsight is a great way to dig deeper in technical skills without the requirement of being technical! The self-paced method allows me to take my time to understand each topic in my own way and bring it back to my team effectively.

**What do you dislike about Pluralsight?**

I wish there was a built-in study guide or study group chat you could use as a resource if you're feeling stuck. I'm an experiential learner and having that interactive portion is important in my learning.

**What problems is Pluralsight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pluralsights does a great job condensing really expansive topics in a way that doesn't feel overwhelming or sensory overload. I've learned so much about each subject without needing to do a deep dive on my own time in order to understand it fully.

A Cloud Guru offers a variety of resources and training at your disposal from user awareness training to plain technical training along with labs and plans you can focus on to accomplish what is needed.

**What do you dislike about Pluralsight?**

The labs may not include all the scenarios such as doing live upgrades or performing clustering, however, you can accomplish all the basic training and all the required training you need for exam purposes.

Our institution does not have a live environment to test or accomplish certain tasks without affecting the production environment so this is where A Cloud Guru helps with training, certifications, and lab testing to help meet our end goal of understanding.

**What do you like best about Pluralsight?**

I like the methodology of the courses, and in general the way the teachers structure the content. I also like a lot the search capabilities of the platform, including the fact that the content is structured in paths.

**What do you dislike about Pluralsight?**

I think that we need more courses on digital security. In general this a weak area of the platform. Also I have a hard time figuring  out which new courses are relevant for me.

**What problems is Pluralsight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps my team with the development of technical skills and in general to also refresh the skills they use in the day to day work they perform. Also some of the videos allow to have entry level knowledge of some subjects (ex, sql injection).

Pluralsight is not about pure technical skill training portal; it has content or course as well for those IT professionals that want to develop their communications skills like presenting, writing and talking that is needed as well working in a corporate environment.

**What do you dislike about Pluralsight?**

Several courses have different topics or modules; when it is segmented into various modules, it has different authors. It's better if one whole course has only one author for every module.

I used Pluralsight to learn AWS services since our company uses AWS Services. It is also beneficial since topics are explained in how you can use it in our environment.

They provide wide range of courses that are very affordable which are taught by professions who have been there and done that. Their business package is really mind-blowing which has curated access to all the courses for 1000+ employees in your company.

They must improve their chat and Email support as it takes longer time period to get the technical issues resolved if we face any. It is really difficult sometimes when the server is down.

I like that A Cloud Guru covers the major platforms (Google, AWS, Azure, and Linux). And I appreciate that it offers Learning Paths. I also really like that there are virtual labs that allow you to practice as needed.

**What do you dislike about Pluralsight?**

It would be nice to see some of the content updated and possibly gamified to keep it interesting, relevant, and new. Some of the courses still reference when it was Linux Academy.

Improving technical skills and knowledge in order to better assist customers and create opportunities for promotions and overall career growth in the near future.

PluralSight provided me with an excellent foundation for deepening my understanding of various job-related skills. These skills are great for building upon my formal education to become a more significant asset for my team.

Some of the Pluralsight courses can be hit-or-miss due to the nature of being taught by individuals. Some courses will have instructors you click with - but others won't.

I received a formal education through a four-year university in Computer Science. Due to the nature of the degree, there are often gaps between what you're taught and what is industry standard. Pluralsight helps bridge those gaps.

The best part of Pluralsight skills is the wide range of courses from old to latest technologies and continual addition of courses not only for developers but for all Roles involved in complete SDLC, may it be Admin, Scrum Master, Devops, various languages, design patterns etc etc. You name it and you get it.🙂

**What do you dislike about Pluralsight?**

Learning platforms as such never have any downside, till they keep on adding latest courses based on continual feedback received from actual users which is the case have seen with Pluralsight. Having said that, Pluralsight can also increase their horizon on specific user needs such as Embedded, DirectX courses and others from different domain for which specialized courses are unavailable in other competitive learning platforms.

There are multiple problems which are solved through Pluralsight:
 - For an organization that is having an exponential growth, it's difficult to find dedicated time to maintain the pace of learning, since it involves time and efforts of experienced resources.
 - Having online learning platform like Pluralsight caters this bigger problem in quite easy and proficient manner by providing initial assessment, suggesting course/paths based on the same and hence developing the required skillsets.

 - Pre and Post assessment makes you feel confident about the earned skillset before jumping into the real task.

 - You get all the coursed easily for all levels (Beginner, Intermediate or Expert) with initial assessment as well.
- Pluralsight keeps on adding new courses based on current trending technologies and after great screening that helps meet personal need for any course.
- Best Part is the assessment, which helps to take appropriate course based on your current knowledge base.

Nothing to dislike as such since it is giving good quality courses.
 - Few domain specific courses (on DICOM, Embedded etc) can be added further to make it a complete package.

Pluralsight provides immense help, assistance, personalization, and collaboration. The Pluralsight program that we have developed is tailored not only to our needs but also to the participant's interests. Their great catalog makes it easy to choose from, adapt, and change the content. Experts clearly write the content; it is a high-level but comprehensive platform. Could not recommend it more.

Pluralsight is also a platform that requires constant monitoring if there is to be an organizational use. There must be managers who are as involved as the Pluralsight team wants. **What do you like best about Pluralsight?**

As a platform, I've really been enjoying managing Pluralsight so far. The Pluralsight Skills feature is a great way to get a baseline assessment of where your employees are in relation to various skills. I use the Skills feature as a pre-req for any assigned training curriculum for my team, and I love that the option is built-in to get data on where your team's skills currently are and where they have areas to grow.

**What do you dislike about Pluralsight?**

My only negative comment is that I wish there were more Skills Assessments in other areas. I hope that they build out this area in the future because there are some areas where I'd like to assess members of the team, but they don't exist in the Skills IQ library yet.

**What problems is Pluralsight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pluralsight is solving our problem of a lack of comprehensive technical training. We currently use LinkedIn Learning for our organization, which is great, but for super technical roles, it's not enough. That's where Pluralsight has come in.

The skill IQs are a fantastic tool for learners AND team managers who want to understand how skill growth and find team members with new expertise based on their growth or skill ups.The support the success staff provides is also wonderful.

As an admin, managing teams manually, especially if there has been a reorg, is really time consuming. I wish it would automatically update from an active directory feed.

# Learning on this platform is effortless and convenient to use, and it also provides a dashboard on your home page which gives a detailed report about the courses you have taken.

# You can plan to finish any course in a particular timeline, all you need to do is to select the duration, and the platform will divide the whole course into parts according to the duration you have taken so that you can finish the course within the timeline you have chosen.

# They always give discounts and offers on their courses which is really helpful.

# Their certification is widely accepted and holds a good reputation in the IT industry.

# Can be operated on both web and mobile. It has a mobile App as well.

# It takes some time to get hands-on with the platform as it it very confusing initially, you often get puzzled where to click where to go, how to see the dashboard, where to resume the course and where to find the certificates.

# Need to do some good work on the mobile app. The App often lags while forwarding or rewinding a video; if you do It two-three times in quick succession, the app stucks.

A Cloud Guru has a ton of courses and certificates available to get trained on cybersecurity. I particularly appreciated their free resources and blogs which have been great thus far.

I don't particularly appreciate that it's a subscription-based product. I think if it was a one-time fee for a certificate that I wanted at a lower cost than the subscription, I would consider pursuing the paid option.

Not enough flexibility in price and the 10% cap on rollover accounts is too tight.
