What do you like best about Plumsail Forms?

Plumsail forms is an excellent product for SharePoint. WIth the ability to create FULLY customisable business forms, the possibilities are endless! Oh and not to mention the tech support from the team! It is by far the best and most professional! Thanks guys for realeasing such a useful and great product! What do you dislike about Plumsail Forms?

I can't think of anything negative as my experience has been positive throughout using their Plumsail Form product! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Plumsail Forms solving and how is that benefiting you?

I wanted to create a SharePoint List dashboard to track the progress of my forms so that administrators have a quick overview of forms that are 'Complete', 'In-Review', 'Rejected' and so on. This functionality is possible using the PnpJS library and also their built in List/Library Control. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As a Microsoft solution architect I am concerned with providing end users with intuitive and feature rich interfaces to their information. Plumsail Forms provides unique value in

- Flexible screen design and field placement.

- Provide input control and field rules

- Work with information from several related sources in one interface

- Route users to forms build for their role or access level

I don't know what exactly you mean (where else would the information come from?), and if it would be possible or not - but we can discuss it, and see if something like this could be possible in the future!

"Plumsail Forms is all you will need"

What do you like best about Plumsail Forms?

Plumsail Forms allows for easy form customization plus allows you to quickly inject JavaScript or custom CSS. I have found that between Plumsail Forms and Microsoft Power Automate I have everything I need to build robust custom apps for our company.

Many are pushing SharePoint forms customization with Power Apps, but that doesn't give you the level of flexibility that comes with Plumsail Forms. Forms, truly keeps the user within the SharePoint experience, while Power Apps feels like it takes you out of that experience to me.

The pricing of the product is very reasonable and well worth the investment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Plumsail Forms lets me control a forms appearance to only show the user what is applicable to their situation. It also adapts well when viewed on smaller screens like a phone.

"Fantastic Flexible and Easily Customizable Application"

What do you like best about Plumsail Forms?

I would classify myself as a Poweruser when it comes to computer usage and your typical MS applications. I do not write code, I am not a dedicated IT specialist for our company and prior to using this product did nothing with Javascript. The program was easy to pick up and run with. The Community forum is great for customization questions that are out of my league. As I use the product, or if another user has a feature request or an idea to make things easier, it is simple to make the idea a reality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Plumsail Forms?

It is hard to find something to dislike. The only thing that has frustrated me was viewing lists within a form, it does not view the same way the list views on sharepoint. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Plumsail Forms solving and how is that benefiting you?

I wanted a comprehensive Construction Project Management platform that we owned and had control over. There are a ton of great products out there that are out-of-the box functional for these purposes but the flexibility of Plumsail Forms allowed me to use the products we were already paying for in Office 365 and create a user interface that was easy to navigate. If users see an issue in that interface, it is a pretty quick fix to come up with something more satisfactory. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Thank you, Chad! We do try to make our Forms product accessible to everyone, not just dedicated developers.

As you say, the materials are there in our docs and in our community, but we're going to continue expanding the available sources and we'll also try to make the product even more user friendly in the future, stay tuned!

P.S. As for viewing lists - do you mean that the forms look slightly different in desktop editor and browser? If so, that's just a limitation of the app rendering. Please, let us know the details at support@plumsail.com and we'll see if this aspect can be somehow enhanced, maybe at least in some parts in future versions. It most likely won't be identical, but we can try to improve your experience in this area.

Thank you, Javier! Great review :) Want to know for future users that we're currently adding new tools for more advanced configuration without heavy use of JavaScript, so even non-developers could still get the most out of the product.

That doesn't mean that we won't add new tools for developers though, and the idea of closer IDE integration sounds neat - that's definitely something we can think about. Just wanted to let you know that we're not that young as a company. While Forms is a relatively new product, we've been working on another product, Forms Designer, since 2011, and it has been one of the most popular SharePoint form builders for classic UI.

Now, we've expanded its functionality in the new product for both SharePoint and now public web forms, and yes, there can be occasional bugs just like in any other product, we do have experience in this area and try to resolve any issues as fast as possible.
