**What do you like best about PlayTours?**

We have hosted Tag Day for years, but PlayTours took our scavenger hunt to the next level. We were able to follow along with the leaderboard, communicate with participants easily, and received timestamped data that showed us how long it took players to complete the game. We highly recommend PlayTours and look forward to using their services again.

**What do you dislike about PlayTours?**

This was more of an issue with user error; we forgot to scramble our QR codes, and a few players figured out the sequence.

**What problems is PlayTours solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to follow the game live made the day much more exciting. In the past, we had to rely on self-reporting at the end of the day. We were also able to reach out to the winners within the platform, making prize distribution much easier. We also liked the fact that multiple team members had access to the platform, which enhanced our collaborative efforts.

**What do you like best about PlayTours?**

Easy to use, fairly intuitive - some things seemed redundant but work more overall for the good of your game, software performed perfectly and even though I messed up, I was able to fix my mistake in real time and the group was able to continue the game

It was maybe more than I actually needed for my game, I had to turn off features that I did not need - which not difficult but for someone not that savvy - it was a bit of a guessing game on my end

I needed a software for a company scavenger hunt with 4 teams going in different directions but using the same clues. This software worked great for my hunt although I did have to create four different games

**What do you like best about PlayTours?**

Customer service is amazing.  They offer a free consultation and were responsive to specific questions via email.  Speaking and emailing with a real person gave me the impression that they really care about the user experience.

**What do you dislike about PlayTours?**

Getting started can feel a bit overwhelming due to the sheer number of options and various settings available. Once I got going, the process was fairly smooth, though I still wasn't entirely sure about the purpose of all the different settings. Since I'm generally quite tech-savvy, I decided to hold off on scheduling my consultation until I had a clearer plan, but in hindsight, using it earlier might have been beneficial.

**What problems is PlayTours solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We aimed to create an enjoyable team-building activity for our employees during our annual Halloween party. After considering several scavenger hunt apps, I found that although this one needed a bit more formatting, its value for the price was unmatched. As a small company, we wanted to keep costs low for our first try at this kind of employee engagement experience.

**What do you like best about PlayTours?**

Highly customizable and the developers are very responsive to feedback and requests. It seems the developers want to improve their product as much as possible, so client feedback is essential for them.

**What do you dislike about PlayTours?**

There's a lot to learn and understand. It's recommended to use the free consultation offer as the developers are super helpful. There's an element of the platform that uses random words as a unique ID for teams. This is fine, but the words being used are a bit risky. I'm hoping they'll fix that issue.

**What problems is PlayTours solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PlayTours is our solution for hosting a location-based mobile game. Rather than having to develop the entire game from scratch, PlayTours provides the necessary platform for designing and operating the game.

**What do you like best about PlayTours?**

I appreciated the "walk-through" templates, which helped me understand the many customization options.  I've kept my first scavenger hunt fairly straightforward, but I am already looking forward to developing something more complicated!

I also liked the "warning" messages that popped up when I did something that might not work the way I intended.  The messages indicated that PlayTours really understand how people are using the product and are being proactive in helping people use it well.

**What do you dislike about PlayTours?**

"Dislike" is too strong, but I do think it can be a little overwhelming at first.  I also found that I messed up saving my work a few times, and I am still not sure what happened. Maybe I only clicked "Done" at the end of writing a task?  Anyway, there was some frustration early on.

**What problems is PlayTours solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It can be difficult to get undergraduates to attend events in their academic departments.  With PlayTours, I was able to design an engaging activity that encouraged students and faculty to meet one another.

We loved that our team could use their phones to easily participate, and they could see everyone's photos and videos (and we could download them all, too!)

**What do you dislike about PlayTours?**

It took a little bit to get started, but to be fair, we did not take advantage of the free 30 minute orientation.  We were able to figure it all out!!

**What problems is PlayTours solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a remote team (11 US states and 5 countries) and we needed a way for everyone to participate in "Zoo Day" together even though we were separated geographically.  In the past, we had used a Google sheet and a lot of work by our two "game leaders" to make this scavenger hunt work.  PlayTours took all the headache of running the game away - it was easy and SO flexible!  Folks loved it!!

**What do you like best about PlayTours?**

Play Tours customer service was excellent!  The scavenger hunt created for us (Second Baptist Church) was beyond our expectations.  When we needed to make tweaks or changes their response was very prompt.  The patience and understanding they exhibited while working with us was unmatched. For handicap accessibility we were given the option to implement a 360 virtual tour which was very cool.  Big props to Mo - he is outstanding!  I will definitely recommend Play Tours to anyone or any groups needing to build a Scavenger Hunt App.

There are no dislikes to note.  Play Tours gave options/alternatives to the things we wanted to achieve with the Scavenger Hunt App

We did not use the scavenger hunt app for business problems but for fun and friendly engagement during group tours events held at the church

**What do you like best about PlayTours?**

Mo was superb in helping us build our interactive challenge. He was able to answer our questions, problem-solve our challenges and help us find the optimum design for the PlayTours app. We successfully delivered to a 90 minute event to 150+ people who gave excellent feedback. The game builder was also intuitive and easy to use as someone who has never built something like this before.

**What do you dislike about PlayTours?**

There are a few little nuances that you have to learn to debug certain mobile devices (like clicking the back arrow on the browser, instead of refresh), but these are easily found and learned during testing.

**What problems is PlayTours solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PlayTours allowed us to blend in person and digital games and challenges all onto one platform that awarded teams points. It meant we could deliver one session to over 150+ people simultaneously.

Play Tours is a very robust and flexible software system. It's taken me a while to understand all that is available to me. But the support at PlayTours has been exceptional. Live support is always a click away and always happy and helpful. I've never felt like a burden despite so many questions.

**What do you dislike about PlayTours?**

There really isn't anything I dislike. I've been able to white label 90% of the user experience; I'd like to white label 100% 😊

I've been able to create multiple tours of my town at an affordable cost with a high level of autonomy and flexibility.

**What do you like best about PlayTours?**

Easy to use, fun and intuitive for participants, does not require downloading as it is web-based and also email address input is optional. Thanks to the many activities that can be created, it allows you to invent many game solutions to animate very different events. The support team is amazing: attentive, professional, and very helpful.

**What do you dislike about PlayTours?**

Learning to use the platform independently takes some time, unless you are an expert in these activities. I recommend purchasing the game creation service on the platform. We did this because we had little time available, and it was the best choice by far! We would do it again even if we had more time available and the price allows you to do it.

Having access to such a responsive and helpful customer support team has made the experience stress free and very rewarding. Rare to have somebody so receptive to changes and additions to be made to their product.

**What do you dislike about PlayTours?**

If I am nitpicking, refining the user interface further could make the app’s more accesible to first time users, however there is so many customisation options, this is not an issue.

Looking for affordable platform to run digital experineces at an affordable price range and with robust featureset was incredibly difficult. Mo and the team have been incredible with their product and their pricing. We can now provide unique, engaging, and inclusive digital experience for all people in our city.

**What do you like best about PlayTours?**

Great product for a company quiz we wanted to set up for our employees as part of a company event.
We were able to configure the quiz to meet our needs. Some steps were immediately obvious how to do when the combination of the documentation and help on chat resolved any challenges.
Impressive speed and quality of response when I request help on Chat.
For the price point, this product is great value and I would recommend it to other.

**What do you like best about PlayTours?**

What I loved most about using PlayTours was how much I could customise my event to my liking. There were lots of task types and answer options to choose from, so I could make my event as challenging as I wanted to for my team without much extra effort on my part. It was also really easy for me to facilitate the entire event by myself, since I could do it literally from the comfort of an air-con room & just approve answers virtually. Super budget-friendly at just a few dollars per player device, and no extra logistics needed.

**What do you dislike about PlayTours?**

Didn't experience that many issues on the facilitator side. Did hear from some players that they experienced some minor lag when uploading larger media files as answers, but nothing deal-breaking.

**What problems is PlayTours solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PlayTours helps me plan and run team-building events for my team without me having to spend a lot of money on logistics, or a lot of time on planning and setting up the event. I can keep my employees engaged even on a tight budget.

**What do you like best about PlayTours?**

Easy to use, reliable, and incredibly versatile software! I built multiple games using this service and it's been fantastic - no complicated installation and easy to build any type of scavenger hunt. Some reviewers mentioned that the software takes some time to get used to, and that's correct, but it's because it's packed with so many features and is so versatile. In the few situations where I wasn't sure how to get the result I needed, I got help from the support team with clear walkthrough videos in no time. In addition to that, the developers are always open to hear new ideas and have been super flexible with introducing new features to make any type of  game work seamlessly. Since I started creating the scavenger hunts, they've constantly been improving the software and adding more features (like AI generated content to speed up the creation process and new task options to make the games more fun for the end user). I would highly recommend PlayTours!

In all honesty, everything that's been an issue  for me has already been resolved by the support team.

**What do you like best about PlayTours?**

PlayTours is seriously a very simple to use scavenger hunt app. I'm not a tech genius, but I managed to create a really fun tour without breaking a sweat, thanks to its user-friendly design, drag-and-drop functionality, and intuitive features that guide you through each step of the process, making it a breeze to use.

**What do you dislike about PlayTours?**

I did experience occasional lagging when working with larger multimedia files, but overall, it didn't significantly impact my experience.

Team bonding and facilitating large team events. It allowed me to organize and run a large scale scavenger hunt for my staff without breaking the bank and pulling my hair out from setting up the event.

No downsides at the moment although setup might seem challenging to a new user.
